I still can't afford one as I'm only 23(I definitely can't afford the maintenance), but I've ridden in E55 AMG many times over the years, even with AMG suspension it's still silky smooth no matter how fast it's going and they can also take corners surprisingly well for such a big, heavy luxury car! I just love W211 to bits since I was 5
@sethsteener 100% just brought mine from a car wreckers and it has absolutely nothing wrong with it besides 300ks on the odo, as well as 4 tyres needed replacing and a new Windscreen other then that, it's been an amazing experience no problems since just keep up with the services 😊😅
I recently acquired a beautiful 2005 E320 CDI in Cubite Silver with cream leather interior, double sunroof, and walnut burl steering wheel. I am absolutely in LOVE with the thing. You can’t really begrudge paying £2200 for something that had an original base price of 30 grand! 😜
Yep bargain if everything works and the car runs correctly. Once they get old they often fall into the hands of people who want a prestige motor but can't afford to keep on top of the maintenance to keep everything working as it should.
Thanks. Our w210 2000 e320 wagon is VERY similar. A few enhancements here & updated styling. At 240,000 our wagon still runs & drives AMAZING. Smooth powerful wicked quick with its 220 HP V-6 in fact. Handling with its SLS rear suspension is supple & responsive & seldom harsh. 7 seats total our kids grew up in this vehicle. With back folded flat swallows huge loads. Very reliable too like a Timex it takes a licking & keeps on ticking. Almost nothing has broken just some plastic bits normal in a 20 year old car.
For an old mercedes you should worry about mileage, but you need to service it regulary and it will serve you well, my 2002 E220CDI W211 has 640 000 km and the engine is still running smooth and burning clean (for euro 3 car).
i cant believe even the e430 base is nuts ! power quiet turns heads from babies to old people and is literally a leather living room on wheels i own one and they are super advanced in equipment function so be ready to study man........
While this isn't the S Class, it is usually said that if you want to know what cars will be like in ten years look at an S Class. So the S class introduces new tech and it goes into other Mercedes models before other brands adopt it.
We buy and drive a lot of W211, the baddest motor is the e280 in line cdi I think the best is e270 cdi. E220cdi not powerfull and the e320cdi to much diesel. We drive always Diesel, Automatic and Avantgarde.
I call BS on the claimed 18,000-mile service intervals. I service my W211 E350 every 6-months in order to keep it reliable and head off the really expensive faults or being stranded on long trips eg: by the 7-G tronic transmission going into "limp home" mode, limiting the car to 2nd gear and reverse only.
My experience with this car was horrible…it felt like it was at this point that Mercedes was trying some new technologies so most functions were malfunctioning for no apparent reason with time…the car was bought brand new at a dealership…sadly,it was e350 avantgarde…7 speed saloon….the facelift version of this car was the real deal I think
If you own this car you understand. It’s like butter on the highway.

@jacobwhite6935 true🥰
I have owned mine from 89 miles till 135K miles.. probably will never sell, 2005 8 cylinder model, like you said butter on the highway.
I was born too late to have enjoyed this era
nope!! while they’re not new, you can still absolutely buy and enjoy one of these cars! i love mine.
Well you can still buy one and maintain it.

Love old promos.
On my 2nd W211. My last one had 230k miles when I sold it. My current one has 190k at the moment. Fantastic cars once properly serviced and not abused
I bought a 2007 e350 from the dealership for around $8300 out the door last year. its a good car
M272 engine
Brilliant cars that are almost bullet proof. In my area we have taxi drivers who have 350 miles on the clock with 220 e class diesels.
On my fifth diesel w211 . Just great cars

Thanks for uploading!
Thank you for an excellent video. It is great to see this as I don’t have the owners manual. 🤓
2003+ (facelift) S Class would be amazing!!!
Yeah they fixed lots of electronic issues at the time, too bad not many people realized that, otherwise it's such a nice car indeed
Renault safrane , Peugeot 607 !! Hahaha vidéo Nice.

I’m owning a Brabus K4 2004. Overhauled the engine recently.
this car was a head of it's time! did you guys travel to the future of car safety. or I guess cars of today learn your safety thing

Peep show voiceover 💥
Except for the balance shaft on the E350 and E280 and the SBC braking on the earlier ones plus a few other expensive issues they are just ok.

I have W211 E320CDI Avantgarde Airmatic 2007' and I love this car. Very comfortable and safe.
270cdi is nice 5cyl diesel
The only disappointment in facelift w211 is the absence of 270cdi 5cyl.
E320 petrol all the way, the best motor of w211
My mother in law has a w211
😁😁

The facelift is vastly improved on the original.
My 2003 e320 v6 has 250,000 miles
241,000 on my e500 2006. Solid engines
311,000 on my 2003 e320 still drive's amazing
My 2002 w211 E270cdi has only 108k
How do i eject my cd from the head unit
Oh my god the inspector has a tie on. Oh Mercedes... Just you being you.
