    I'm so glad, your letting beginners
    know that it doesn't happen all at once!!! Some Artists make it look that way, the truth is, it takes a few
    days or more to make this.
    Thank you ♥️

    I am building some cabinets and counters from scratch. I would like to make the top look like Malachite with different shades of green and some of the glass and some gold in it. I am all the time looking for patterns of this print on that stone. I think I will start with a small board and make a miniture one, see how it turns out first. I found a pix of a skull made of the stone that had been polished and the colors are right what I want, so I do have that. Using that fire place glass might be a good touch then some gold flakes lines throughout. So many different ways of doing this. I just want it to look decent not cheap. I am 61 and been doing art for quite some time now. Never have tried this. I just need to experiment with the right patterns.

    • @MoonkusserArt
      @MoonkusserArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a lot of fun and challenging also. Maybe try doing small tests or even a accent table. Patterns get easier the more you do. Have fun experimenting! 😁

    Hi - I really admire your work - almost 3000 viewers and only 166 thumbs up? Hhhhhm that makes me wonder if they are ungrateful for the great work and all the time you put into this tutorial. Well I must say, your videos have inspired me a lot and I really wish you would write down what kind of resin you use etc. Thank you sooo much for everything! Kim (American living in Germany)

    Beautiful piece! I liked, I saved, and I shared. I really like how the white flows. I'm new at working with acrylic resin. Can you please tell me what temperature you have your heat gun set at? I set mine at about 460, but it seems to take a while to pop any bubbles.
    Thank you

    • @MoonkusserArt
      @MoonkusserArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your kind words. My heat gun is the Wagner Furno 500. It does have variable temperature but it does not indicate the actual temperature. For popping the bubbles in resin I prefer a small torch where I can on a piece like this. If I need to get in close where a tape dam is on the sides I use my heat gun. If you monitor your work, you can check for bubbles every 10 minutes and pop them with the heat gun that way possibly.

    Hi I'm so glad I came upon this video. Answered a big question of mine. Do you always take multiple days for geode paintings? The reason I ask is that I was taught to make one piece in one sitting and that never gives me the kind of definition I see in TH-cam videos but nobody has really called out that they pour resin on different days.

    • @MoonkusserArt
      @MoonkusserArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have never poured a resin geode painting in one day. Maybe because I am very interested in having some more definition between some of the rings. I also find pouring over multiple days helps me greatly with creating the wanted pattern in my geodes. 😁

    My resin dries on minutes would this happen because of the temperature. I usually do it outside and it tends to be 65 - 75 degrees.

    • @MoonkusserArt
      @MoonkusserArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are working outdoors there can be numerous variables that would cause accelerated curing such as air temperature, humidity, and even air flow. It could also be the brand and type of resin you use.

    Hey
    My colors keep mix together in bubble shapes and completely lose their line
    Any ideas why?

    • @MoonkusserArt
      @MoonkusserArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your resin type is very liquid like you will have this happen. You can try waiting 10 minutes to allow it to thicken in the cup and then pour.

    • @zoyadis8422
      @zoyadis8422 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the respond
      Try that two
      And with thicker resin
      In the process of curing the mix anyway :(
