Incredible! the Definition on the M&K is on an entirely different level! The dynamic snap and note to note distinction is so much better. I was listening to this on my Rythmik E15 HP2 + 2xREL T9i setup. The SVS sounded one note and slow. M&K was thrilling!
I have changed my opinion after this video to MK. I think the X15 is immaculate , much more prefer the tight, rapid and quick response bass. For my size room, i wouldn’t mind 2 off X12’s. Keep the shout outs coming. Awesome video
I live in a house, but in town, I could never use such a beast. My 25 years old 5.1 broken kit is enough to me. Especially since the entire world seems to have forgotten about immersive sound and 5.1 sound systems. Thanks streaming services.
Nice! thanks for the comparison. I've been looking to getting the Monolith THX Ultra 16, seems like the direct competitor to the SVS PB16, but at a much lower price. If you ever get a demo unit of the Monolith, that would be a great comparison that I haven't seen on YT yet. Cheers
Jó kis verseny. Nekem két darab SVS Ultra PB 16 reflexem van. És két darab Ultra két utas kis hangfalam amit az SVS 2x150 wattos okos erősítő hajt. Ami Össze van kötve optikai kábellel a tévémmel és a telefonomról nézem illetve hallgatom. Szuper hangzása van.🔊📣🔊
We will see…two things will be factor here… 1-Price 2-Performance Its Klipsh so cant cost what these do and it needs to preform at this level to sell so we will se.
Hello, not knowing your language I can't understand what you are saying, therefore I ask you for a written answer. Between SVS PB 16 ultra and MK X15+, which goes lower? Which vibrates more? Which feels stronger? Which of the 2 has better sound quality? Thank you
The woofer on the MK looks amazingly controlled and tight. I have a Rythmik FV18 which goes really low and loud but the woofer excursion doesn't look nearly as tight and controlled as the MK. I guess that's what you're paying for since it's nearly 3X the price of my Rythmik.
It will be very interesting to compare the MK Sound X15+ vs Velodyn DD15+ subwoofer. Both have a dome in the middle of the driver. Dome design produces high quality sounds. Concave design produces high impact, splash, powerful bass. But it is a muddy bass. th-cam.com/video/jvpPsbMqvlI/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/jvpPsbMqvlI/w-d-xo.html Velodyne DD15+ subwoofer : th-cam.com/video/LTJ8kfhgkBc/w-d-xo.html
@@homecinemaking397 ok thanks. I like to watch your videos, espacially your comment regarding "audiophine subwoofer". I put your link inside my video description.
@@lamvshiong6257 its fine you can adjust the volume level on the receiver when calibrating just leave the sub to fixed. If you want some more bass after calibration you can add about 3DB from the receiver.
The M&K Sound X+ Series will be available in January 2022 from authorised M&K Sound dealers, priced $4499 / AU$6499 for the X10+, $4999 / AU$7999 for the X12+ and $5999 / AU$8999 for the X15+
There is absolutely zero comparison here. The M&K is a SIX THOUSAND DOLLAR SUB! The svs is a $2900 toy. Nothing svs makes can even compete with the real deal M&K. Remember they invented the entire home subwoofer market.
SVS offers great bang for the buck but they usually don't fair well against the likes of REL, PERLISTEN and M&K. Another dual 15" design that I really like is the Rythmik G25HP and it costs roughly the same as the SVS PB16-Ultra.
your excitement in this video is so awesome. Well done Morne
Absolutely awesome how excited your son is!!
Ja he loves it🤣

I have wanted to get my hands on one for so long but no one seems to want to bring them in…Vaughan…come on do it💪
I loved the King Kong VS Godzilla quote. 2 absolute beasts. I still like X15+ more hahha
🤣👌💪👍
It’s kinda hilarious:) I want it
bro that box is the size of my mother's 18kg top loader washing machine box you can literally put 3 blankets inside it 🤣🤣🤣

Interesting. Own a SPL-150 which is a great performer but the new ones coming out read and hear they are a step up over the SPL series.
@@mataiguana5 im sure the new subs will be epic, but we will see.
Wow . Amazing. 😃🔈👍🎵. How big is ur cinema room then?.
Around 5x6m for this one.
You should try and grab a Ken Kriesel Quattro subwoofer system..

Between SVS PB 16 ultra and MK X15+, which goes lower? Which vibrates more? Which feels stronger? Which of the 2 has better sound quality? Thank you
Ok the PB16 will go lower and rattle more things and then X15 hits faster and more accurate. Both are quality units so hope that helps you decide.
@@homecinemaking397 I listen to music with bass between 16 and 35Hz, bass for racing rigs SPL, do you think SVS is more suitable for me?
@@DJMorets music i would do X15 but if you want to move more air like on your racing rigs i would go PB16
Are you from South Africa? For some reason I thought your Australian for like the longest time.
SA boy born and raised, in the cinema i spent most of my days🤣
Can the X15 be used in audiophile 2 channel system
Hell yes👍also maybe look at two v15
plug all svs ports and re-compare.
Also, you can get 2 SVS for one X15+

Just a pity dealing with Velodyne is a complete fail and they have been dropped in our country again due to problems.

Hi Bro. need to ask you a question. I am using Denon A110 with M&K X12 sub. Can i switch this sub to THX fixed in Bass level reference?
This os actually how i found the X12 to be best used. THX mode fixed👌

Mk sounds like it's alot cleaner bass to me .. svs more muffled up sound but just my opinion
You will be correct. After having this for a while the bass is super tight and clean👌
Might produce great bass, but it wouldn't win any prizes in a beauty contest 🤔
I actually love the look

Boss level💪

MK ALL THE WAY.
💪
Lol...Bass obsession being passed on to the next generation.

Pb16 ultra looks way better and price is better but if you wanna quick sub buy SB16
SB16 does not have the pure power that these have and that is why i dont like then that much.

At $6k M&k is crazy. Rythmik servo subs go deeper and play tighter for 1/3 the price. Try the fv18 or f18 for the best bang for the buck subwoofers.
Its not always about going lower or deeper but the combination of them all. I have not had a sud that does all of them like this.
