Am starting a poultry farm this week for the first time with a 100 chicks am so nervous and happy, but watching some of your documentaries have given me courage.

A workmate introduced me to yr channel n ever since that day, the farmer in me keeps telling me that l have to give him n chance...all being equal, l will resign from work this year n concentrate on my chicken project. Actually l had to start late last year with 150 birds...l regret starting it that late cz l have wasted a lot of years thinking if it would work or not... 2023 l am going bigger n better...l planted sorghum n sunflowers to help cut costs of production. Keep inspiring us Doc...

My 2022 was for learning and 2023 is for practical so I have just start my poultry farming with 350 bloiler chickens Atleast I got some knowledge from farm up I know this will work .

Thank you doc for the info, I think you are being over ambitious but I also believe you have the required zeal, Knowledge and experience to go. I have had the idea of poultry farming for over 8 years, the problem has been procrastination. This year I have decided to experiment then after I acquire the necessary experience next year I begin fully. I have already built a structure to support over 50 birds but I have only paid for 25 birds due to financial constraints. I am waiting for the supplier to deliver. Thanks for always encouraging us.

@@Saucepwanwa Hoovers. If you order through Tractor supply you can avoid a shipping charge. They also let you order 10 at a time instead of 15. I've purchased from Hoovers for years and had great experiences. I live in NC and they ship from IA, so they travel a good distance and I'm never had a DOA
Dear Dr. Daniel. my main plan for the year 2023 is to expand my poultry farm to 5,000 birds.. i drew m inspirations after watching your you-tube channel. It has been the platform where i learn how to keep my birds including giving them vaccinations. so i want to appreciate you for the great work that your doing and I wish you good health and blessings this new year 2023.
Zambia here and following, my plan is to continue producing more quails up to 10000 birds a month.

Hello Dr Daniel, am from neighbouring country called Kenya, I wanted to start with Indeginous chicken farming and slowly expand to layers for commercial and also other birds like quails, guinea fowl, pheasant etc, that's my plan this year

Hello Dr Daniel, What you do is fantastic, Have you also thought of planning to expand your farming land to agriculture, to grow more fruit and vegetables, as well as feed for the poultry. in order to make the the farm self sufficient, as this too will cut down costs as well. Especially when you plan to have students on the farm for the Farming academy. MAKE FARMING COOL AGAIN.

That's a great vision and a better plan for this year, I would like to put to use my plot 50x100sq with poultry birds but I don't have a trusted person to conduct the building of the chicken,animals etc.

Hello Dr Daniel do you have slaughter house facilities on the farm or elsewhere to guarantee that the chickens you raised are slaughtered in a clean and hygienic way, plus commercial freezer facilities for customers to purchase fresh or in frozen format infect, set up a farm up Butchers shop, and farm shop as well, Farm shops are all the rage in the UK and else where.
