Eating habits have changed to garbage junk food. People don’t have time to cook healthy food. Cancer rate is high up the roof, life span has shorten day by day . I think one problem could be that small scale farmers think like homesteaders and are restricted like that. Like I'm on a piece of land with cows, sheep, geese, ducks and chickens. Each animal provides something of value to cover daily living expenses, so it's nice to have. But because there are so many animals, it forces you to take a general approach to all of them. Most farmers like the hardy independent life, and the idea of specialising on just one thing, and buying what you need like say eggs or beef rather than growing it doesn't't sit well with them.
