Fernando, do you mean the white plastic spacer that comes with it? Well, as of right now I'm 90% sure I have a small oil leak coming from this seal. so I may have installed the cover incorrectly...I took the plastic spacer out before I installed. Based on what ive seen/read since this install, you need to leave the spacer in and let it come out naturally as you install.
At 12:23 u said that theirs a spare hole on the flexplate. I want to know what would happen if I just tightened the flexplate on without aligning that spare hole
@@fernandoarvizu6072 good question. My rebuild guide just states, align flex plate with the 'extra' hole. you will most likely have an imbalance as the flex plate is balanced. i.e. engine/transmission vibration.

The loctite seals the holes. It's going to seep oil without it. Those holes go all the way through the flange into the crankcase.
wow really? I do have a small leak, that could be where its coming from. I just assumed the seal was the only place it could leak. Thanks Sam,
Man I was just watching this, I have the same leak and I was watching this video to see if it was needed. I have oil seeping out from my bolts too 😂

Are the flywheel bolts torque to yield?
Hey, my rebuild manual didn't say they were, so I just reused them.
