Blue Moon Camera bluemooncamera.com/ still loads film for Minox cameras. 16mm film is sort of available, but finding some that is not a motion picture film is another matter entirely.

There several sources of non movie 16mm film. I'll do a follow-up video about them.

@@m005kennedy Will be looking forward to it. I have a bunch of empty cassettes and no film. My 16-II is gathering dust on a shelf.

I have a Minox "C", IMHO, film, processing and printing of snapshots is not cost effective. If you DIY, it can be somewhat cheaper, not counting cost of equipment. 8x11mm negative format cannot yield consistently sharp clear pictures if that's what you want.

I agree about the cost. Film and processing for all has gotten really expensive. You are talking more than $1 per shot or more. I've gotten some excellent results from my Minox B. I have seen incredible images from technical pan type Film with pota type developers. If you join a Facebook group or perhaps some place like Flickr, you can see amazing work with standard films. But it has to be something you really enjoy and get satisfaction from to go through the whole process rather than just using your cellphone. Some users have made their own scanner gate or adapters to make digital copies of the negative and worked fromm there.
