Luke, in my eyes, you are stunning. I'm proud to have you as my English teacher. I'm listening to ur podcasts, the credit goes to u for becoming my guide in this English learning journey
I accidentally hit this program. My son’s girlfriend is a French. While I am learning English from you and knowing some cultures of French at the same time. Really appreciate!
Great Video with a very entertaining conversation. I enjoyed very much watching and listening to you both. Keep on posting stuff like this and Greetings from Spain 👍
Luke Sir, you truly look amazing with the beard. I strongly advise you not to shave it off. Your overall appearance is much more striking with it on and it adds a certain dynamic to your presence. Trust me, keeping the beard will only enhance your look.
I'm from Russia. Lots of people leaving here enjoy complaining about our country. Watching video like that you realize how good your country is. We are polite on the road, in the metro we also stay on both sides and wait for.... And our temperature inside our house or flat is never less than 23-25 °C in cold seasons. This video was amazed me, thanks a million for your work guys. ❤❤ From Russia with love. ☺☺
This has been a really enjoyable time! You both are amazing. The conversation has been intellectual and deep. Thank you both for this great opportunity and pleasure of listening to you talking.
Thank you for sharing this interesting interview. Luke, you are a TALENTED teacher and a good-tempered, kind human being. I didn't know Parisians were like that!!!
Did he say at the beginning: Luke, its an absolutly honor for you to be here 😂 I think he would say: It is a great honor to have you here. But maybe I got it wrong, my English isn't that good 😉
@@LeonardoEnglishCom Thank you for your answer! I thought that in the first version, it was an honor for Luke to be here and in the second one, it‘s an honor for you that Luke is with you 😉 Very likeable episode! I've been following Luke for a long time and now, I've just discovered you 👍🏽
ah, I see what you mean. If the context was different, it could have meant that! But think of it as a shortened version of: "it's an absolute honour (for me) for you to be here"
I'm Brazilian and we do things here the way Luke is saying. Things like bureaucracy, sometimes speaking too much and not getting to the point straightway. I think we share something with French people, a 'Latin' mentality. By the way, French people were settlers here too in minor proportion.
Question: what’s the name of the southernmost “province” of England? Answer: France 🇫🇷. Question nr. 2: what’s the name of the northernmost “region” of France? Answer: England 🏴. I really think you’re ALMOST two different “Regions” of just one same country. And, certainly, I’m using the term “England”, and not Great Britain 🇬🇧 intentionally. I think I would even exclude the northernmost part of the country (England) in my definition. Very nice interview! Thanks a lot for sharing, Aleister!
Petanque in Italian "gioco delle bocce" Is also popular in Italy regions Liguria Piemonte. Especially among elderly people but is still popular and many people enjoy this game as in France.
So hot sweaty down here in India - I should be going to take an Albumin injection the day after in a missionary hospital I may stand watching the entire city from the viewpost of the top floor
I don’t really get the pétanque joke. In Italy and the US it’s called bocce, in the UK it’s called bowls, or lawn bowling. There are slight differences in the rules and techniques, but some variation of the idea is played all over the West. It’s not a uniquely French thing.
I know situation in Paris and London from the safety on the streets, especially in the evenings. Nothing pleasant😮 Equally and differences are the most important in both cities and countries🥴

great grooming advice!
but he already did shave it clean. ahah
He said that his baby son liked his beard too much and specially to grab it.
Oh, sorry, I cannot agree with this. I definitely prefer him without beard - looks younger and fresh and full of clear energy!
Thank you Luke!!! I'm French and I learnt a lot about parisian that Will serve me during my next time in Paris, for sure😂
glad to hear that it was useful to you too :)

Do as the French do! Don’t be overwhelmed by culture shock!

It is popular in Malta too, and called “bocci” there.
And petanca in Spain, very popular for elder people too
Bonjour, what’s the name of the standup comedian friend who does stand ups in both English and French?
Bonjour! His name is Paul Taylor - you can watch his stuff here th-cam.com/channels/d56yga015uI5hfOfnXdzCQ.html
sounds traffic in Pairs is as bad as that in Shanghai
So hot sweaty down here in India - I should be going to take an Albumin injection the day after in a missionary hospital

hmm....maybe?
British people don’t care about living in flats covered with mold, as long as their windows look nice 😂
