I don't think I ever got past this level as a kid. It completely gatekeeped me and scared me from ever playing Expert. I thought "if I can't even beat level 7 I have no chance"
Don't forget about how E9 immediately follows it up with another hard level. To be honest though, I really like it this way. As a kid, the high difficulty in getting to master made it extremely satisfying when I finally made it there. Finally being able to beat E7 played a large role in getting me to try for master in the first place. And in the end, I suppose was an important step in eventually speedrunning the game.
@@TGB1320 That's true - I can't believe I forgot to bring that up. Maybe I'll revisit this topic later on and cover Exam-C and Tracks in the same video 👀
When I was a kid, I could beat this stage every time no problem, then I stopped playing the game for like a decade, went back to it and exam C was the hardest thing I had ever played
I remember like 3-4 yrs ago, I had a phase where I was super into the Monkey Ball series. This stage was unbelievably difficult for me, but after a bunch of attempts, I was finally able to breeze through it. Never got to do the EX stages though...
Nice video, dude. The title was a nice hook, and you explained the not so obvious challenges of the level when going for the extra level packs, which I never knew you had to do. All you need is some confidence in your speaking, and this will be a banger for sure. Good job dude!
@@SomeGuy-yl1bx Thank you very much! I'm still working on optimizing my voice for future documentaries like these. But given that I have certain disabilities, it won't be the easiest thing for me to get done - it'll take some time!
Good video, but your audio recording quality could be better. Consider investing into a microphone like the Audio Technica 2020. Also the BGM is too loud and distracting. Pick BGM without vocal bits and mix it a tad quieter
I appreciate the content, but I have to point out the upwards inflection at the end of nearly every other sentence, it's very distracting and off-putting.

@@glitch_wurld I know at least a few of us have been there before. It was definitely a nightmare for me too
banana mania changed it? SOULESS.
@@ventriloquistmagician4735 Yup. They made the bridge at the end slightly wider and put 30 more seconds on the clock. (now 90 seconds)

Oh gosh. I didn't realize that I had PTSD about this stage until I watched this video.
@@aaronwhite1882 Everything will be fine. In all honesty, I massively hate this stage too

Same here. I could never get to the Expert Extras myself
I absolutly hate this LEVEL. 100% shouldve been the last stage in expert
@@verm2.082 Yeah, I agree. It would have made much more sense if Sega did that!
Honestly this could be as hard as Master 9.
