First I love Akon and he is doing amazing things. Just want to bring up a couple points: 1. Africa is not a country, it’s 54 countries. 2. Not everywhere is Africa poor... there is an amazing and thriving economy in Dakar, the capital of Senegal (and many other cities around the continent). I’ve lived here for the past 5 years and the music, creative scene, and business innovation are amazing.
