    Another cool video. What machine shop did you use? I just got my head back for the red ix. Used Cyl Head Specialists in Wake Forest.

      I used a local place that's attached to a car quest..if I had more time I would have taken to CHS. They do great work!

    Quick question: how did you clean the valves? Grinding? Also, suggestions on how to clean the head? Particular chemical?

      Take the head to a machine shop and they can hot tank it. Leave it assembled so everything else gets cleaned too. I used a razor and wire brush to get the tough carbon off the valves

      Thanks! Depends on which e34 engine..theres 5 different ones they used over the years
