And the gift is....a bunch of MP3s. People speculating things like t-shirts didn't consider that even if they were unsellable crap merch, Tommy would still have to pay shipping. So of course he sent some files he had lying around. "Gee, where can I get a copy of the Advent Rising soundtrack?" asked no one ever. Check out G4's review of Advent Rising (when TT worked there) to hear Adam Sessler mock its score in particular (with a very sarcastic "Ooooooh!") and then outright say it was a piss-poor Halo ripoff (TT's musical score and the game). But watch all of Tommy's white knights pretend like this is the biggest reward ever (but what about the friends we made along the way?) and how the delay is totally worth it. Heck, I predict a few will pretend that if they NEVER get their pre-ordered Amico, their money will have been well spent just to get these MP3s.
@@ezg2000 Well Tommy had to find the Zune where he stored all those Advent Rising recordings. Then he had to find the correct charging cable. Then he had to find the right drivers. Then he had to find a working Windows XP machine for Zune sync software to run on. That's a solid week of Tommy digging through stacks of unsold Wii games in his storage unit.
A few hundred half-finished units will go out to their biggest cheerleaders in a last ditch attempt to get positive feedback they can use for a last grab for extra investment. Then a few months later, they'll blame the haters for killing their dream, and close up for good. TT will tell everyone who listens about the mean ole critics and how wrong they were while completely ignoring his own role in the downfall of this turd. To his cheerleaders, best case scenario is you get some crappy, over-priced hardware and hardly any games to play on it. It's an unappealing platform to develop for, it has bad controllers and it's old and clunky hardware can't possibly hold appeal for any indie dev worth their salt...and that's BEFORE you take into account the 50% cut that Intellivision will take of every game sold. It's going to have no games of any quality.

With all due apologies to Lionel Richie and the Commodores:
Because it's once, twice, three times delayed, yeaaaaahhhhhh....
Aaaaaammmmmmiiiiiiiiiiiiiicooooooooo!
So, what comes first? Delay #4, or, an outright cancellation?
C'mon, lay off Tommy, he's just an easy target.
*Easy like Sunday morning*

Hello...is it Amico you're looking for
@@IanNewYashaTheFinalAct Tommy is not necessarily an easy target. I mean, have you tried to play deathmatch in Golden Eye against someone playing as Oddjob (really meant to be Nick-Nack)?
I have been waiting for this video ever since I read about it in an article a few days ago.
Tommy's a personality he doesn't know how to run a company. All he sees is dollar signs in his retirement fund. Tommy was so preoccupied to see if he could make a console he didn't stop to think if he should.
Excellent Jurassic Park reference!
This has become Pat and Ian's Watergate, so many twists and turns, can't wait for the movie adaption.
So will "Deep Throat" be Smash JT or John Riggs?
What happened to Atari Age? The forum that tore the Chameleon a new asshole and exposed Mike Kennedy's bullshit at every turn? Now they're cheerleading for the company making all the bad calls?
Time to tear Tommy a new corn hole.
They were bought out by a company (forgot who)
It’s, like, maybe 15-20 people cheerleading the Amico. Used to be more, at first, but, ya know…Tommy be Tommying. Most of AtariAge doesn’t give two shits about the Amico. And between his tweets and the Crayola Experience, Tommy’s doing their detective work for them. 😂
@@Blood-PawWerewolf pretty sure that isn’t true.
@@bassguitari928 or was it NintendoAge?
Re: the controller shutting off after being tapped, I think that was mmofallout's non-cultist impressions.
It was
@13:20 it's pretty weak to notice the kid has a shark jaw on his shirt and turned out talarico is trying to boot sharkshark. not a very imaginative guy.
i bet he never reads past a headline either.
OEM Pete Turbo Joe Smash JT all attack me for saying how Pat and Ian have been correct since the start
This console is like Bigfoot, talked about so much but never seen!
I just have a feeling that they're probably having financial issues and they're probably looking for more investors. I think it's going to be 2023 before we see anything, and I wouldn't be too shocked if a lawsuit happens in the future.
Intellivision has lost 11 investors and over $20,000 on their Republic page in the last 24 hours... things just get worse for Tommy.
It's not surprising though. Investors want to make money, not lose it. After a third delay and no sign of the console ever launching at this point, confidence will be in very short supply.
@@scootakuh3142 Yeah for sure, I'm sure many more will be dropping out over the coming weeks/months.
Pat and Ian right again. Amico fans will go crazy and go after everyone now that talk about their console in negative light or honestly.
You guys are great. Screw the haters. Btw I'll watch after Amico ends just like I watched before Amico was sparkle in Tommys eye
Don't mind delays. It's the pretending to be further along than they actually are that annoys me.
I used to think those toy consoles and computers made by the company Tomy were terrible but at least they actually existed. Tomy>Tommy
22:03 Now THAT'S a reference. But now that he's said it, I kinda want a pop-o-matic bubble dead center in the Amico you can whack
In December I guarantee they ship out some sort of intellivision commemorative item to "select" preorder buyers.
7:35 onwards Pat looking at Ian like a proud father at a school play....
Did you hear what Intellivision’s free gift was to early backers? Tommy’s music!
Geez that is lame
@@cellversesfrieza Tell me about it! Why not a free Amico game? Tommy is so stuck on himself, he actually thought giving away his music was the best course of action. Lol!
Best case....limited run to backers, then absolutely nothing beyond that, because "reasons".
Pat…he still hasn’t decided where he is going to build his “HyperScan Amico”…China-Mexico-USA-Canada? Like…when is he going to decide on that simple but major aspect of this whole endeavor?
I am SHOCKED
The investors are still there for this.
I mean he couldn't give a discount coupon to the amico merch shop. And people had to wait a week for this news.
My world is shattered I was soooo looking forward to wasting 250$ to put it on my shelf just like the rest of the old nostalgic people and just stare at it. Because I'm too old to press buttons and play complex games. Even 20min is too long to play to beat a game. I wish I could just give my bank account number away and just get 47 versions on missle command and asteroids until I die.
Three strikes and yer out, Tommy!
Once again, bless you guys for continually reporting on this disaster. People need to know this stuff!
This saga has made for more entertaining drama to me than any episodic show on any paid streaming service.
So, what have they been doing since announcing this console?!
Imagine grandmothers and kids throwing their 800$ iPhones at the 4K Screen breaking both.
At this point lawnmower man grandmas won't be able to buy this off QVC
@@JohnSmith-yd5wq Not even the Chinese will want to sell cheap knockoff of it.
Fake Tommy should be Intellivision CEO.
In the words of Jon Taffer Shut It Down
Back way way way, I was considering getting one, realizing that this was starting to fall apart I said nah. I’m happy with my Xbox/ ps and the retro games being spit out on the marketplace
I hope no one else suggested this, but maybe the Amico should put out cards like the ex prez did to help their company out lol. They don't do anything but i bet a lot of these Amico fans would buy those(just like the ex prez fans).
(This is exactly what the Amico's collectable "physical releases" are.) (They're RFID cards that may only contain but a download code.)
They dropped at midnight to give themselves 12hrs to prepare for the shitshorm.
I got the test results back-I'm legally deemed stupid. Two Amicos, please!
First heard about the announcement via Nintendo Life. What a shock. But to their credit they also posted an update about Analogue restocks.
This thing is so unfinished across the board. software, hardware, all unfinished.
The only thing finished is Tommy.
The Amico doesn't need to release, because the Amico, in the end, was the friends we made along the way.
It's vaporware at this point. As much as I dog Polymega, I actually believe you've got a better chance of having it in your hands than an Amico.
They need to get Soulja Boy involved. That dude is pushing out product. It may not be his, but it's out there!! I can see it now: A limited edition Intellivision Soulja Boy TallAmico. 5000 games, 10 repeats of Cornhole.
There is more fun to be had by their reaction than the amico 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Guys, please move or reposition the Link mask, his dead eyes are staring deep into my soul 😆😋
Kind of like Tommy looking into potential investors’ eyes.
Oh, God. This is just painful to see. If Amico is meant to die, it should die now. This is quite a dumbster fire.
Third delay = Three Strikes and "YER OUT"
Reading Atari Age forums is my new happy place.
there is no shortage of parts, all the parts tommy needs to make this thing are there so he needs to just admit that the amico has issues he can't work out
7:19 was Ian imitating OEB Pete? 😂
Think you're right.
man 60 employees, think of the wage bill EVERY month! With zero income
Came to the conclusion that Tommy delayed the console a third time just to troll Pat and Ian.
I will not be surprised if he actually tows that narrative. Lol
This thing would have struggled if it came out in time, let alone after a third delay. This train wreck is fun watching in real time.
Best reality show around. Just can't wait for the Netflix doc.
That popular old Medieval game - Trebuchet Sniper.
Catapult Cornhole?
@@PatTheNESpunk I was reaching a bit there, but yeah.
I'm shocked! Oh wait.. No I'm not...
It's not a console, it's a soap opera!
It’s an oversized soap dish.
@@WilSan74
Soap - the favorite dish for Amico investors.
Sounds like Tommy needs the world famous hardware expertise of Mr Lee - electronics expert and anonymous caller.
Just makes me wonder after this damned thing dies who is going to be next to complete the trifecta of failed consoles…The Chameleon, Amico, then ______
The spectrum portable was a POS and a giant scam. Also, the VCS is pretty much a useless and outdated thing. So awful to see those big brands of yesteryear being treated so poorly.
Colleco is cursed at this point
There's only one industry titan that can save this console
Soulja Boi
At this point, Soulja Boi is a more succesful and more respected name in both gaming and music than Tallarico.
This was vaporware since day one. It’s never coming out.
How sad is it that you have provided truthful information on this topic to the public and the actual person responsible hasn't? Logic will win out every time.
Who else is excited for Tommy's inevitable phone call next week?
