The last intifada, consisted of mass stabbing, suicide bombing and other attacks on israeli civilians. Thats the context of the word.
And even if give you the benefit of the doubt, and Intifada is just a peaceful revolution, that would still not make any sense right now.

I grew up next to a bedouin village. My family had close ties with the tribe, getting invited to weddings, working together at my village's dairy farm and fields. We are close friends to this day. The relationship with the Israeli arabs might be tense, and prejudice and racism do exist like they do in every country. In the end, Israeli arabs participate in every aspect of Israeli life. I studies with many in the university, served with them in army and worked with them as colleagues. I do believe the arabs in this country would rather stay in Israel even if a 2 state solution would ever come to be.

I'm convinced the self snitching phenomenon is shown a lot in this conflict as pro-palestinian supporters take existing narratives and shit that happened to the jewish people then revictiziming the actual targeted group to be their own.
      For example the claim
"Jews are genociding gaza" is taking the Holocaust narrative but revictimizing the target group to Muslims.
Idk this is a half baked thought but it's like Horseshoe theory + self snitching + disingenuousness to appeal to the majorities morality.
Like an illiberal populist, very fucked up. Who needs to make new lies when you can take existing truths and take a pencil eraser to the victims and switch in your own group of people. Kinda like those comedians who changed mien kampf but submitted it to peer reviews and got gold stars because they changed the targeted victim of jews to white people and everyone clapped.

Nobody assumes that Americans who call themselves "Southern" actually think they're from the southern hemisphere. They're Southern compared to their Northern countrymen. Just like we're French compared to English Canadians. Context is important.
That story is also a gross exaggeration. I travel to France for work every year and I've never had anyone refuse to speak French to me, even though I live in English-Canada and my French has gotten pretty rusty. Most of them will proudly point out that they can tell that you're Canadian from your accent, sure, but in over a decade only two dudes have ever been knobs about it (once in Paris and once in Cannes). Even my colleagues who can barely stammer through asking for a menu almost never get any garbage for it.

Unfortunately in elementary/high school, we often learn a folk-version of 'ethics' and 'morality' that divides them categories of customary and non-customary, which does not reflect philosophical usage.

This is the most frustrating Destiny reaction video I've ever watched....I can't even like it. You pause every 5 seconds at the worst possible spots, you react to the most irrelevant chat comments and sidetrack into a completely different thing than the video, and then you didn't even finish ir or react to the wild things the Palestinian guys said. 🤦

Which anti-Israel Dem do you think could beat Trump? because if you're a leftists and you're against Biden because of your hate for Israel, you should probably not want Trump in office the most pro Israel POTUS of all time

You have to go to a liquor store to get alcohol in Rhode Island. We don’t sell it anywhere else. Drive 20 minutes into Massachusetts and grab a 6 pack from the gas station, that’s ur only late night option lol. I remember the first time I saw liquor in a Walmart I was mind blown. It was in Maine.

You use rudy rochman as thumbnail but are not reacting to the atrocities of the protestors interacting with him in the video (Allah will take your life, how many kids did you kill today?)… he is such a important role in this conflict, because he is able to show empathy for the other side. Your ignorance to the protestors actions in the video is a bit disrespectful imo…

I 100% agree that Ethnic Jews need to have a different name than Religious Jews. When folks argue over who has right to the land, is it Ethnic Jews, since they were forced out of Israel, or is it religions Jews that were promised to be resettled there post WWII genocides in Europe? Is it both? And if so, how is that justified? The lack of appropriate terminology between these groups just over-complicates an already complicated situation.

Of the many sickening things the Hamas supporters chant, it’s pretty hypocritical for them to deride Israel for being an “ethno state” then turn around and chant “Palestine is Arab, Palestine is Muslim.” Not to mention, in regard to the October 7 massacre, “by any means necessary.”

My understanding is that the Israeli PM is not the commander in chief. We Americans assume chain of command is the same as in US which leads to confusion about who "led" what war.
