Leauge actually has huge lore behind it and arcane is just a small story in the vast world. Its lore is not just some backgrounds and stuff. Also Arcane isn't just based on League of Legends because Riot Games has a lot of games based on the same world. Do some research before posting nonsense.

You're wrong about two things. First, 8:00 I made it to the end and I dislike the show. Second, 7:22 as I am a fan of LoL, I got very disappointed on Arcane because it did not respect the lore of the game and I think the characters in game are MUCH BETTER than the versions in the series. Even though they're shallow as spit. If anything for the sole reason I've become familiar with these characters for 10 years and I don't like to see them changed in the show. But for real, at least Viktor in game was way better. He was Darth Friggin Vader and got completely neutered into a floating twink.

Your whole argument is null considering the lore of league of legends is just extra material that has 0 impact on the gameplay.
Your point on jinx/vi lore retcon there's no retcon, as there was nearly no lore on them to begin with. Your 1 hour of research on the hind sight does to argument what you are saying because you are wrong. There are real lore retcons, like singed and swain and their roles/timelines of ionian invasion
    3/10 bait shit research

Typical not very capable of using human brain drama streamer. The biggest drama here is how bad are you

If someone fell in love with the world of Runeterra after watching Arcane, they’d be thrilled to know that Riot Games has built other immersive experiences outside of League of Legends that explore this vibrant universe.
Take Legends of Runeterra, for instance. It’s a digital card game that delves deeply into the lore of Runeterra’s regions and characters. Piltover, Zaun, and other regions like Demacia and the Shadow Isles all come alive through beautifully illustrated cards, flavor text, and interactive mechanics. It’s perfect for someone who loves the depth and world-building of Arcane but prefers a slower, strategic experience.
For a more narrative-driven adventure, there’s Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. This turn-based RPG focuses on a completely different part of the world-Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles. Here, you can see another side of Runeterra, with an engaging story, rich environments, and iconic characters like Miss Fortune and Pyke. Even though it’s set far from Piltover and Zaun, it provides more of that interconnected lore fans of Arcane might crave.
And then there’s Hextech Mayhem, a whimsical rhythm game featuring Ziggs. It’s set in Piltover and Zaun, making it a light-hearted, chaotic way to experience the same world as Arcane. Riot’s expanding library, from narrative RPGs to rhythm games, offers plenty of ways to engage with the world of Runeterra without diving into League’s MOBA gameplay.
These games, alongside Riot’s upcoming projects like an MMORPG, show how the world of Runeterra extends far beyond League of Legends. Each title gives a new perspective on the world, letting fans of Arcane immerse themselves even further without ever needing to pick up the main game. Riot has built a universe, and Arcane is just the beginning of what it has to offer.
The comic books are another awesome way to explore Runeterra if you loved Arcane but don’t play League of Legends. Riot has some really well-done comics that dive into the world and its characters.
For example, there’s "Warriors" and "Lux", which both explore different regions and characters. While these don’t focus on Piltover or Zaun specifically, they give you a broader sense of Runeterra’s lore and the struggles between magic, politics, and power. And if you’re interested in seeing more of other iconic champions, they’re a goldmine for stories.
There’s also "Zed", which dives into Ionia and has this really dark, ninja-esque vibe to it. It’s perfect if you’re curious about the more shadowy corners of the world.
These comics give you a whole different perspective on the world Riot’s built, all while keeping it accessible and easy to jump into. Plus, the art is top-tier, and you can find them online through Riot’s partnerships or even for free on their official platforms sometimes. It’s like a bonus expansion of the Arcane universe without needing a console or PC.

Arcane just benefited the company, no matter how you look at it. Yes it destroyed League's Lore but, who cares?
There are people that are frustrated because their champion was completely removed and changed for something "better" (Like Viktor) but most of the Lore fans are happy because the show improved the quality and story of their fav champs, this happens with Ekko, Jayce, Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn
I think the sacrifice of the original League lore for a modern improved version of it was necessary and I just hope they don't keep killing champs essence just because they think it is better

alot of people loved old viktor's lore, whats there not to love about a pretty much robot villain, bro got turned into jesus and then into a celestial being, already got like 5 of those, league reworked viktor to suit arcane fans, not necessary league fans

Riot is used to sacrificing the lore, in the beggining it was based in an arena where summoners would put the champions to compete, slowly it will take a shape, but the completion of the history will depend on their will to make it work, and if league don't completely die

Never actually played league, but from what ive heard from people who do i think the actual thing that killed LOL lore, is in fact LOL itself 😅its been a slow death spiral over time where theyve done previous retcons to lore, but never actually finished those retcons🤣 Arcane didnt kill league of legends lore, it was simply the final nail in the coffin

I mean the Arcane lore just becomes the league lore, and that's fine. The lore has been retconned so much anyways, it doesn't bother anyone that much

Just play ARAM on the mobile version. I keep it that casual. Once I hear most voice lines I also change the audio language for a new experience.

I feel like you know nothing about the lore of league (I mean you didnt even mention Universe, the lore site which still has the original lore for most characters). Almost nothing was retconned or changed, there was barely any lore on the characters in arcane and what existed wasnt changed (except for viktor's outdated short story). The only significant change made was that there is now shimmer under zaun, whereas before it was supposed to be void (although we only know that because of devs. Neither had been found yet in the lore before arcane released, although you can see the purple liquids instead of green in jinx's music video).
League has lots of lore, but almost all of it is outside the game and most players dont know any of it. I'm one of the rare players that has actually read everything and i think Arcane perfectly represents how the characters are portrayed in the lore. This video feels like uninformed clickbait.

As I Jinx main I have to hard disagree. I also play lots of Caitlyn and Vi. None of these characters are remotely similar between the game and the show. In the show, Vi and Caitlyn got their personalities swapped. Vi was supposed to be a short-tempered brutal minority oppressing cop (BLM would have a field day on her). Jinx was supposed to be Ledger's Joker, or Margot Robbie's Harley, or even Gaga's Harley. Instead, she's Arthur Fleck. Caitlyn was supposed to be the centered one. Also Viktor was supposed to be Darth Vader, not a floating emo.
