Thanks! Glad I came across this video. Coming for our first HHN last week of September this year. These tips will help us start planning our 2 nights of HHN! Thanks again.
You're SO right about the 'best part of Fast & Furious being the exit 🤣. I'm just super happy that the NY Scarezone isn't going be anything space/alien-related again...
Thank you so much, Julia! The content has been a little slower than normal because of the move, but we're trying to get back into the groove of things!
Your tip from a previous video about mixing the frozen butter beer helped me a lot! Made waiting in line for Hagrid much more enjoyable(Hagrids is now my new favorite roller-coaster).
Haha that’s awesome! It’s crazy how much better the frozen is when you mix the topping in. Hagrid’s is great too! Especially when you have a butterbeer to keep you occupied in line!
That's a great question, I'm not sure! I would say there's somewhere you're supposed to go close to your reservation to get in. Calling Universal and asking them would probably be your best bet!!
Naps before HHN is a must. Also the shoe thing is a must, after living there and going to the parks so often a good broke in shoe is a must. So much that I'm breaking in my barefoot sandals and zero drop shoes for the long walking in December. Hope we see y'all under the Christmas lights.
We’ll absolutely be around! And we couldn’t agree more about the shoes. When we lived in TN we prepped by doing 10k steps a day on a treadmill to make sure our shoes were okay! Lol
@@ThePughTwosweet can't wait to meet y'all. that's super smart to do, I can start doing that as apart of my workout routine and just getting across campus for classes. Thanks for the tip lol
Can you explain when the park closes? And how to do the stay and scream. If we go to the park during the day but wanted to go back to our hotel and shower and change before doing HHN when would would need to be back in the park?
As long as you are back around and into stay and scream before 5 o’clock you would be fine. We would suggest trying to get back in the parks by 4:30 at the latest!
The shoe thing can not be understated, especially if you do the parks as well during the day. I bought the ugliest hiking sandal things because they dry out on water rides and were supposed to be comfortable for long hours. I think my feet gave out around hour 16 which wasn’t too shabby! I make the fatal error of choosing style over comfort a lot but I’m glad I wore the weird footwear that day lol Also, no one is looking at your feet so always go comfort! You can always crop your feet out of pictures 😂
Comfort over fashion is always the right choice at HHN! At the theme parks period, really. If you're not comfortable, the entire day will be miserable!
Hey guys, I haven't taken the time to welcome you to your new digs. I hope you're more than happy with your move to Florida. Looking forward to seeing more of you, and I'm hoping to run into you two next Feb. Congratulations.
I wish I had realized I should wait for the multi night pass. I have a premier pass and bought 2 other nights opening. Weekend. Really wish I’d just gotten frequent fear because im coming back for Halloween too!!
Oh no, don’t worry!! You can call and upgrade your single night tickets to multi day tickets! Just call Universal and they’ll be more than happy to help you with that!!

We have no idea about Mummy. It was definitely expected to be open by now, so we're not sure what the issue is! The fact that they cancelled the RRR refurb isn't good news, though.
I have been there at the end of the night when even the most popular houses had a 15 minute wait. I’ve even had house attendants flag us down to encourage us to go through a house at the end of the night lol

First timer here! I'm a bit of a baby but my husband and I are going to Universal sept 2-5 and Disney 6-8 next month and I want to surprise him with horror nights tickets for his birthday. I'm trying to decide if I should book our HHN tickets for sept 2nd (our driving to Florida day) or Sept 3rd (our first day of daytime park tickets) but I'm not sure. Would it be better to do it Sept 3rd? because we would have access to the stay and scream through our park tickets?
I would say the third! The 2nd is the first Saturday of the event so it’ll probably be packed! Plus, stay and scream makes a world of difference! We hope y’all have a great time at HHN!
any advice for doing a blend of day parks with HHN, 4 day/3 patk(p-p) and want to do a bit of everything. we will have 4 nights of HHN woth the rush of fear sept 15-18. also doing a volcano bay day.
Awe I'm sad to miss HHN this year but I will watch all of y'all's updates💜 Also this is how I found your channel last year. Congrats to being a Florida res🤠 Hope to run into y'all there sometime next year.
We're sorry you won't be here this year, but there's always next year! We'll definitely have a few videos from the event, too, so you have those to look forward to! lol
SO happy to see classic Pugh Two even after you moved. info, tip, info, joke, tip, funny face, info, info , joke. A relief from the usual vloggers, "observe that this scaffold has a new bolt"
New subscriber but long time hhn person... I live out of state and only go to hhn once a year😢 lol in September and rush of fear is perfect to get your fix in for a week! Even though I'm not there for all of September it's still worth it!
@The Pugh Two and another trick I've learned. .. if you play Simpson games you can win Simpson toys cheap.... if you can tell people to wait on things like the horse race everyone will win...cheaper then buying doll in quicky lol
Just tell them to play by them self and not against anyone and you leave with a prize.... cheaper than quickie mart dolls and cheaper and more fun.... every year we win a kid a cool prize on this game lol.... just talk to the worker before you play
Yay!~I'm so happy for your guys! The energy and excitement you have for the parks is already so prevalent ~ but feels even more so now that you are "living the dream" in sunny FLA. Enjoy & thanks for the fun videos! They always make me smile. :)
Do you have a link to the scream early ticket ? I was looking for it when I got our package long time ago and couldn’t find it I was going to get them for a day we are going to hhn and not parks, but also another day we are doing hhn and volcano bay in the morning, are you allowed to enter the early screams/stay and scream later ? than 3 or 4:30 if you have the ticket
TH-cam deletes links a lot of the time, but if you go to their HHN ticket page, it should be there! Also, Studios closes at 5:00 to daytime guests, so we would suggest being in the park and in stay and scream by 4:30 at the latest. They start kicking guests out so they can get the scarezones ready to go!
This may be a silly question but I’ve never been to universal or HHN and this is Gina be my first year. At HHN, are you able to see the rest of the park like kinda how it is during the day, or is everything completely shut down and closed off? Just trying to save money to see if I should get a day pass too?
We are doing the RIP tour at 6:30 on Sunday 9/11 and staying on site. Would you recommend going to the early HHN park admission area at 4:00 or rest our feet and go when our RIP tour starts? We plan on going to the park during the day. Thanks for all the great tips and entertaining videos!
I would wait and go when your RIP tour starts! If I'm not mistaken, I think you can get there early and enjoy food and drinks as part of your tour. If that's the case, get there as soon as you can to enjoy that! lol
If your RIP tour was at 7 or 7:30 I'd say def do stay & scream, so you can knock out 3 or 4 houses before the tour. There's been times where we go to the 2nd or 3rd house (after initial crowd rush) during stay & scream, and there's no line! So we get all the scares. But with a 6:30 tour you won't have much time and I don't think it'd be worth paying for stay and scream.
5 QQs for the Pugh Two- Would y'all do 1 night with Express or 2 nights without it? My family and I are for sure going Oct 9th but might also add Oct 8th. We are not from Florida and this will be a quick 4-night trip. Also, what advice would you give to someone who is excited to experience HHN but also a "scaredy cat"? Is mobile ordering available for the HHN food booths? Are there any sit down restaurants open during the event? How can a person make themselves comfortable during Stay & Scream? It seemed hot and pack in the Springfield area.
1. It just depends. One night with express you should be able to get through everything, but it could rain. Two nights without, you might not get through it all, or it could be a breeze and you get to do some houses twice. 2. Our video about why HHN isn't for you should have some good tips. 3. No, the food booths don't mobile order. 4. Yes, Finnegan's & Lombards are open for some time (not sure how long) plus quick service places like Mel's & the Springfield food court. 5. Bring an umbrella for the sun if you're worried about it. It's not the most fun thing in the world, though!
Great video, since this will be our first time I'm sure this will be helpful and I haven't seen any other videos on you tube like it. Can resort guests at deluxes get into stay and scream from the hotel or do they need to go from the park?
We are going to volcano bay during the day and HHN that night. We are staying at a universal resort hotel. Can we get in early without buying a stay and scream? Thanks
If you have a 3-park pass, that will get you into the parks and into stay and scream as well. If you just have a VB ticket, that won't work and you would need to purchase a scream early ticket. We hope this helps!
Your videos are so much more fun to watch when you get to film in the parks! Huge improvement over the at home studio. Hope to see it a lot more now that you're locals. I'm not even interested in HHN and I enjoyed this video just to sew the great night time park ambience. 😊
Thank you, Jennifer! We're really excited to be down here and able to visit the parks to film. Once we get settled, we'll still have some studio videos, but not nearly as many!
If you stay at a premium resort that gives a general express pass for the parks, do you get a HHN express pass if you purchase a regular ticket for it?
Hi pugh two We have just purchased Premier annual passes for the first time and are coming over from the UK in middle of October until the middle of November for our annual holiday. I have couple of questions we know there is a pass holders lounge in universal studios but is there one in islands of adventure? Question 2 if we see you are you approachable or are you best left alone as we know you are actually working ( I may be bearing a gift ie butter beer lol) keep up the good work love the videos so much good information Sorry if this is the wrong place to post
Hi David! That’s so exciting! To answer your questions: 1. No, there isn’t a passholder lounge in Islands. 2. We’re always happy to say hello if you run into us! No need for any gifts! Lol we hope you have a fantastic time on your trip!!
@The Pugh Two yes the scream early 😊 is it the same as the RIP tour or is it something different its our first time going omg we have watched all your videos we go October 29 to November Thank you so much for replying
Thank you, Taylor! We thought it was appropriate for an HHN video. We love getting to play with the lighting and shooting videos in the dark this time of year!!
Got a uoap discount tip. The Thursday before HHN there are some good resort deals. Just booked Hard Rock for 325. Discount from around 440. Also other good deals at some other resorts!
Was super excited to see them at the park for my birthday trip last week. They were super nice and talked to me even though I was geeking out a little bit lol. It made my Trip.
No, it won’t! You have to have a daytime ticket to the parks or an annual pass to get into stay and scream. Stay and scream is just a holding area inside of Universal Studios so if you don’t have a ticket to get in during the day, you can access it.
listening to z Knights Trek livestream on the asy to work. this, "There's the Pugh Two sitting on a bench by Finnegans hoping that The Mummy will open" 😂😂😂
I’m brand new to your channel but I simply love you two! I’m going to HHN Orlando in September. I live in Los Angeles so unfortunately I only have one night at HHN and this helped me plan my night!!
Question here! Me and my family are going to universal towards the end of September and we plan on going to HHN one night! So the question is can we go eat at city walk if we dont attend HHN?
Does anyone know if we could purchase same day tickets for the HHN event at one of their kiosks? Purchasing them online is not really an option in this case
universal California closes the park prior to opening for the horror nights. So you can't walk around and eat prior. Plus purchase front of line tickets.....very expensive but worth it if you don't want to spend all night waiting.
We're so glad it helped! It's honestly insane how much you walk in the parks. We've literally hit 10k steps every day since we moved down here because of the parks! 😂
Hello! I hope you guys are well. I only have two questions to ask! If I get the express pass for one day, will I be able to use it for the open rides at hhn including the houses or is it just for the houses? Is there a way I can print out my express ticket to wear a lanyard with it visible when I reach at the front gate? Or would I have to do that before I get there?
Hi there! The HHN express pass does include the rides as well, but it’s separate from the daytime express passes. So, for example, if you have the express that comes with the premier hotels, that isn’t good for HHN. And yes, you can pick up your express pass at will call outside the gate!
@@ThePughTwo Okay, thank you so much for replying back! Btw I just found out that I would have to buy the hhn express pass and the general admission ticket to get into hhn too lol.(it's my first time getting express that I didn't know aha😅) Oh alright so I could just pay for the hhn express pass the day before and have them print it out for me the day of? If so, that's a relief!😂
That’s so exciting!! Do you have a park hopper ticket or a one park per day ticket? If you have a single park ticket and use it in Islands first, you will not be able to get into stay and scream!
@@ThePughTwo No just a single park ticket and I’m using it for Islands (have to ride Velocicoaster!). So what would the best strategy be? Be at universal at 4?

@@ThePughTwo what is their average charge or I assume you guys will cover all that in another vid? X
Do you think it’s possible to do both shows and all 10 houses with just the express pass in mid October? Or is that impossible
It's possible! It's definitely not a guarantee, though. Especially with weather and things like that, but we've done it!
I just booked for the 3rd, we can't wait!@@ThePughTwo
Where do you check in for stay and scream?
There will be an entrance with team members scanning your HHN ticket. It depends which area you’re going to, but they’re pretty easy to find!
We are going to be doing HHN for the first time in 2024 for our wedding evening….can’t wait! Not looking forward to some of the smells tho….lol 😂
That’s so exciting!! The smells are just part of the fun! Lol
Can you still watch the opening night show from the stay and scream?
Unfortunately no. You have to be outside the gates to see the opening scaremony
any advice for doing a blend of day parks with HHN, 4 day/3 patk(p-p) and want to do a bit of everything. we will have 4 nights of HHN woth the rush of fear sept 15-18. also doing a volcano bay day.
Just have an awesome time! Make sure you plan some time to rest between the parks during the day and the event. If not, you'll kill yourself!
Awe I'm sad to miss HHN this year but I will watch all of y'all's updates💜 Also this is how I found your channel last year. Congrats to being a Florida res🤠 Hope to run into y'all there sometime next year.
We're sorry you won't be here this year, but there's always next year! We'll definitely have a few videos from the event, too, so you have those to look forward to! lol
You two are so fun! Just found your channel and love you guys!
Thank you, Lisa! You’re so sweet! We really appreciate your support, thanks for watching!
SO happy to see classic Pugh Two even after you moved. info, tip, info, joke, tip, funny face, info, info , joke. A relief from the usual vloggers, "observe that this scaffold has a new bolt"
😂🤣 we’ll always stay true to how we started this channel!
New subscriber but long time hhn person... I live out of state and only go to hhn once a year😢 lol in September and rush of fear is perfect to get your fix in for a week! Even though I'm not there for all of September it's still worth it!
Oh absolutely! It’s usually way cheaper than buying several single night tickets!
You're so sweet, thank you, Mariellen! It still doesn't seem real to us! lol Thank you for watching, we really appreciate your support!
Do you have a link to the scream early ticket ? I was looking for it when I got our package long time ago and couldn’t find it
I was going to get them for a day we are going to hhn and not parks, but also another day we are doing hhn and volcano bay in the morning, are you allowed to enter the early screams/stay and scream later ? than 3 or 4:30 if you have the ticket
Oh no, you can still explore all of studios! Not all of the rides are open, though. It’s definitely a different experience than during the day!
great video! I literally love your video's, honesty the only channel that makes me genuinely happy when you upload
Oh my gosh, thank you Evan! You're too sweet, we really appreciate it!
Please also cover the Universal Hotel entrance for HHN. We got to interact with the stilt walkers before they went for gate entry last year
We'll keep this in mind, thanks!
Planning on going for the first time this year, can’t wait!!
How exciting! You're gonna love it!
I’ll let someone else get the other questions but I’d do two nights, no express, stay and scream both nights
@@ThePughTwo thank you for taking the time answer all of my questions!!
Great video, since this will be our first time I'm sure this will be helpful and I haven't seen any other videos on you tube like it. Can resort guests at deluxes get into stay and scream from the hotel or do they need to go from the park?
You have to go to the park! Stay and scream is inside Universal Studios, so you’ll have to entire that park to get in there!
I remember I’ve always wanted to go, anyways is micheal myers there?
He is this year! They're having a Halloween house!
@@ThePughTwo I have a 3 park pass plus express so hopefully I’m good. Thank you.
I just found this channel and I LOVE it 🤗
Thank you so much! We appreciate you watching, and we’re happy to have you here!
Are the $35 stay’n scream tickets available yet? Can’t find them on the website
Yes! If you go to the HHN ticket page, you can find them!
It's my first time going and I'm super excited.
That's awesome! We hope you have the best time, HHN is so much fun!!
I leave the day before HHN starts and I'm sooooo sad. Wish I was going but I'm sure you 2 will add tons of fun content for me to watch. ❤️
Oh no! We'll definitely have some videos from the event, but we hope you get to go soon! It's a great event!
@@ThePughTwo Halloween is my favorite and my birthday is in October so hopefully one day soon!! ☺️☺️
No that express is only good for the 2 theme parks!
@@ThePughTwo shucks! But that makes sense
Hi pugh two
We have just purchased Premier annual passes for the first time and are coming over from the UK in middle of October until the middle of November for our annual holiday.
I have couple of questions we know there is a pass holders lounge in universal studios but is there one in islands of adventure?
Question 2 if we see you are you approachable or are you best left alone as we know you are actually working ( I may be bearing a gift ie butter beer lol) keep up the good work love the videos so much good information
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post
Hi David! That’s so exciting! To answer your questions: 1. No, there isn’t a passholder lounge in Islands. 2. We’re always happy to say hello if you run into us! No need for any gifts! Lol we hope you have a fantastic time on your trip!!
For 2023 is the HHN RIP tour the same as the scream?
I’m not sure what you mean by the scream. Are you talking about the scream early ticket?
@The Pugh Two yes the scream early 😊 is it the same as the RIP tour or is it something different its our first time going omg we have watched all your videos we go October 29 to November
Thank you so much for replying
Another great video! I loved the editing on this one! It’s not often we’re able to see theme park content in the evening/night and it looked fab!
Oh wow! That is a really great deal. Thanks for sharing!!
Super excited for HHN can't wait to find out all the houses
We can't either! We're so close to the event, it's gotta be soon now!
Was super excited to see them at the park for my birthday trip last week. They were super nice and talked to me even though I was geeking out a little bit lol. It made my Trip.
It was so nice to meet you, Edward! We're happy to hear you had a great trip, and we love that we were part of it! We hope you had a great birthday!
So how do we figure out where to go for stay and scream, like what houses they’re letting us queue up for?
Once they announce all the houses and we know their locations, we'll have those answers! Stay tuned for our HHN videos!
Are you guys getting an error too when trying to see the pass holder hotel discount website?
We're not! We would suggest calling Universal to get some help with that! They can definitely look at passholder rates for you.
We are going to HHN soon! If we have express tickets for HHN will that get us into the scream & stay?
Thank you guys for all the informational videos!
😂🤣 we’ve been doing a lot of that lately!
Can't to wait to hopefully meet you both on HHN opening weekend!
We'll be around, so keep an eye out for us!
I’m brand new to your channel but I simply love you two! I’m going to HHN Orlando in September. I live in Los Angeles so unfortunately I only have one night at HHN and this helped me plan my night!!
Thank you, Nick! We really appreciate that! We hope you have a fantastic time at HHN!!
Question here! Me and my family are going to universal towards the end of September and we plan on going to HHN one night! So the question is can we go eat at city walk if we dont attend HHN?
Yes absolutely! CityWalk will be open as normal, it’s just Studios that’s affected by the event!
Does anyone know if we could purchase same day tickets for the HHN event at one of their kiosks? Purchasing them online is not really an option in this case
You can, but they charge you WAY more at the gate. Like almost double. You can call and purchase them if that’s doable??
universal California closes the park prior to opening for the horror nights. So you can't walk around and eat prior. Plus purchase front of line tickets.....very expensive but worth it if you don't want to spend all night waiting.
That’s good to know, thanks for the tips!
Are you guys going to be covering Disney too? X
Absolutely!!
@@ThePughTwo fabulous. Will you guys be reviewing hotels too? X
What’s the weather like over there In October? How should we dress for this event at night?
It’s still gonna be hot, even at night!
Y'all actually saved me last year with the change up of shoes from hhn to day park. It saved my poor baby feet!
We're so glad it helped! It's honestly insane how much you walk in the parks. We've literally hit 10k steps every day since we moved down here because of the parks! 😂
@@ThePughTwo Yeah, I don't feel bad! Only because I'm jealous that you get to go so often =) . My walking shoes are ready for December! I am PUMPED!
Fun HHN vlog...we are ready!! ~Dawn
Thank you, Dawn! We are, too!!
Btw I just found out that I would have to buy the hhn express pass and the general admission ticket to get into hhn too lol.(it's my first time getting express that I didn't know aha😅)
Oh alright so I could just pay for the hhn express pass the day before and have them print it out for me the day of? If so, that's a relief!😂
I’m going to Islands the same day I’m going opening weekend to HHN (my first one!). Will I be able to join Stay and Scream?
That’s so exciting!! Do you have a park hopper ticket or a one park per day ticket? If you have a single park ticket and use it in Islands first, you will not be able to get into stay and scream!
@@ThePughTwo No just a single park ticket and I’m using it for Islands (have to ride Velocicoaster!). So what would the best strategy be? Be at universal at 4?
@@mgsun6978 yes but you won’t be able to go to stay and scream without a scream early pass because you don’t have a pass for Studios!
