- In this video we try to figure out the BEST Halloween Horror Nights 2022 game plan that gets you through ALL 10 haunted houses the quickest. To do this, we split up and head to different HHN 2022 stay and scream areas to see who can complete this HHN challenge the quickest! Anna starts in the front of Universal Studios at the New York stay & scream area, while Tyler heads back to Springfield to start there. Follow our journey throughout the park as we compete against each other while giving you the best Halloween Horror Nights advice 2022. It probably is different foe each person each night, depending on crowd, weather and other factors. I am excited either way! 🥰🎃☠️👻
We enjoyed new York stay and scream last year because you could easily access the bathroom and food/ beverages!
I am voting New York because of access to bathrooms and drinks. I have also heard (but not confirmed) these houses open before the others. Lastly, Halloween 4 a few years ago was so great my travel companion sank to the floor and brought me with her since she was clinging to my arm like a koala in a tree so I am in hurry to get to Halloween.
Looks like Springfield is🤔but NY allows you to hit up Dead Man’s Pier
Honestly, I loved chilling at Richters with Chez Alcatraz. Not crowded and relaxed. It's my go to going forward.

I love this challenge! I went alone opening night took me 3 hours to do all 10 houses using Express. Started at Universal Monsters: Legends Collide at 11pm went counterclockwise and finished Hellblock Horror at 2:00am. Great success, nice!

Yeah, played myself with the express pass Friday. Thought the pass was valid until park closure 🤣. Oh, well 8/10 isn't bad and I got to get on all the rides besides rip ride rocket.

There were times I was a little stressed! Lol
I loved the chupacabra house!!! we did monsters and the weekend our first night and it took about 50min each, we arrived later and decided to do other stuff and went through all the scare zones cause it was raining so bad earlier, we also did descendants and bugs that night and were there till 2am
our second night we had the early entrance, which made all the difference, even though we didn’t que that early, we were still about to get 4 houses done within the hour to hour and a half, we queued at the Finnegans stay and scream area and we’re still able to get an alright spot in line although express was packed along with others that showed up super early and already in the house que, the houses opened really early, so definitely recommend being in que maybe by 3, we were there around 4ish I believe, we did Halloween then spirits of the coven, then dead man’s and chupacabra, by the second hour we did blumhouse and hellblock and even managed to try lot of food items, then we caught both of the live shows, and just walked through the scare zones and played games and left early around 8-10pm
I would definitely recommend scream early if you can’t get express, I think we could’ve even done half of the houses or more if we showed up earlier, if you get both you could definitely do everything in one night and do some again as well as catch everything else
Not sure if you've attempted this, but such a cool feature would be to throw up the park map and show us where you are located in the park! this would be super useful for folks who haven't been to the parks, or haven't been to HHN and don't know where the houses are located
We’ve thought about it, but that’s no small feat to create a digital map of the parks that we could use! Lol if we ever get good enough at after effects, we’d love to do that!

Hi Daniel! Unfortunately the daytime express passes are not valid during HHN. You do have to purchase a separate express pass for the event!
And you still had time to catch the shows. Nice.

😂🤣 HHN content kind of dies after opening weekend, so we won’t be putting out any more HHN videos. We think the Halloween stay and scream is probably the best, then head to dead man’s pier and Chupacabra!

We were there Wednesday and Thursday nights (9/7 and 9/8) and tried desperately, in the midst of all of our running about, to find you guys, but to no avail. What a close race! I didn't expect it to take so long with the Fast Passes being used. Which house do you suggest starting with to beat the rush? I have Stay and Scream but no Fast Pass, so I'm trying to plan my house run as efficiently as possible, haha.
The express lines got really long towards the end of the night! It was a sold out night, though, so it’s not that surprising I guess. I think our best suggestion would be Halloween, and then go straight to Dead Man’s and Chupacabra that are right next to it!

Was hoping I could catch you guys again this year but I didn't do Express. This time I decided to just show up late and do all 10 houses & the show throughout the 3 days. I like it better than 1 night with Express.
Oh we would totally do the same thing! More nights is almost always better in our opinion!
Do you have a video explaining or could you help me figure out the difference between the package deals. (Fear Pass, stay n scream, express(and can you only select a few and not all with express or am I wrong with this?) I’m sure there are other options. Honestly it just depends! Seeing everything once it’s actually dark is really nice, plus the weather isn’t as bad. If I had to pick one of those options personally, I’d wait until dark!

Im confused on express pass, what do you mean you say "I didn't want to burn it"? Can't u use express pass for all the houses?? I've never been to HHN before & am going my first time in a couple weeks.
The express pass for HHN is limited, so once per house per night. After you use it, you can’t express that specific house again. That’s what we meant by burn it. There’s no reason to use express if the line is super short like it is for stay and scream.
I have to pick up my tickets from *Guest* *Services* , where exactly is that??? Anyone please....
Don't go to the one by the main gates.... try to go to the one in city walk by the bathrooms and the pizza place. They can usually take care of you at that one. WAY shorter of a line.
There are several guest services places throughout the resort. If you’re staying on-site, you can probably pick them up at the ticketing counter inside your hotel lobby. Otherwise, there’s a guest services in CityWalk next to the Starbucks. It’s right by the bottom of the escalator, too. You can also go to the will call area outside Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. At both parks, Will Call is to the right before you get to the turnstiles.
Hi guys, i just want to know how do they let the people in the houses from the standard line? Do they do it per party or per group? If that make sense? So let’s say there’s just the two of us, will they let us in just the two of us? Or we will be with the other groups too?
A lot of people refer to it as a conga line lol they just kind of continuously pulse people through the house, so you’ll definitely be in there with other people!
So after all the excitement of my trip on the 22nd I was told yesterday my flight has been cancelled so as of now I have no idea when I am coming over 😭😭 Hope to see you guys soon!

So opening night and sunday night we were in the weekend stay and scream area and did all 10 houses both days even did some twice so veryyy possible to do this

What’s the route without express passes
Our suggestion would be to start with Halloween during stay and scream. Then so Dead Man’s Pier & Chupacabra. After that, I’d probably work my way to the back (blumhouse, bugs, descendants) and then finish with the houses in the front!

So last year we roasted in the line to go to Hill House but I heard others sat at the Simpsons food court waiting to get in and finished around the same time that we did

How does the express pass work for the shows?
Doesn't apply.
The only exception would be attractions like Poseidon’s fury and the Bourne stuntacular. These do have express, and they just let you in first when the auditorium empties out.
