Oh girl, this really hit me HARD. I'm not trans, but I often completely share this feeling of being indecisive, unsure, or feeling like a particular situation is not completely fulfilling that 'dream moment' that I imagined it or want it to be. It gives me massive anxiety, and the whole thing gets me down as I feel like other people don't get these thoughts and just live their life normally without overthinking! Hearing you speak like this about these kind of decisions, coming from you, such a content, confident woman, really is affirming to me that this way of thinking is a very human quality, and not something to feel ashamed of! Happy International Woman's Day, by the way!
Kristina Savic yesss!! I wish her and trisha would go without the bleached look for a while and give their hair a break. It honestly suits them both so well.
I think she had the surgery already years ago and just got botched and she doesn’t want to talk about it publicly out of shame. Around the 2:40 marker she hints something along the lines ,,the she doesn’t want to get mutilated twice”. I think she went to Thailand to fix her botched results, but she got scared that it’s gonna be even worse. I don’t know her and I’m not judging her, but I’m just guessing that this is what possibly happened.
Gigi I’m so glad you made this honest video. Surgery is a huge thing, even if it would be an affirming surgery. It takes time and support to prepare for these big moments! I’m really digging the old school bedroom story time vibes too lol Also you look amazing with that hair girl 😭

My sister just had her MTF SRS in Montreal almost 2 weeks ago. I agree that this surgery is something you really have to be absolutely sure about and if you’re not feeling it then that’s completely ok, you can take all the time you need there’s no race. My sister had to spend a lot of time going through counselling to be sure if she was ready and if it’s what she really wanted. You also need to be sure if your ready for what comes after, this is a big surgery that includes maintenance for the rest of your life. What’s best is to take things at your own pace and do what’s best for you and your happiness. Love you Gigi💞💖
I am all for avoiding all forms of surgery...totally with you on that one. You are who you are and no mefical procedure will define you. You look amazing !!!

love how gigi is talking about something so important and difficult for trans people to speak about publically, and everyone just cares about her wig :/
I think because most of us are not trans so there is a bit of a disconnect there & also we don’t really care if she gets surgery or not. We just want her to be happy & thrive. Whether she gets it or not she will still be Gigi & if her & her fiancée are happy then we are happy
I'm very proud of you for not getting the surgery. Currently reading your book, found it randomly at the public library. I read so many stories, and heard stories on how it was the biggest regret ever, and if these people could, knowing what they know after the fact, they would've never gone through with it.
Omg Gigi, I'm so happy I found your channel (through ContraPoints). When you were talking about your mom, I felt that because saaame. I know I was obviously at her burial, but I literally can't remember it and trying to remember brings me close to a panic attack. But anyway, I'm glad you made the right decision for you. If you didn't feel comfortable, you made the right choice ♥
I remember when she wouldn’t tell anyone if she had gotten the surgery done or not. Like anytime she did a Q & A and the question came up, she wouldn’t answer it. I’m glad she’s letting us in about the whole thing now.
Transition surgery is extremely invasive. I can definitely see where the fear n hesitation comes from. Bottom surgery is a serious procedure. Gigi I’m here for u girl
The brown hair is soooo you! You look far more unique and beautiful! I love it way more than the blonde! Thanks for sharing your story, and for trusting your gut! More people need to know to trust their guts! We've been taught from young ages to ignore them. If we all trusted our guts as you did, we'd all be happier, safer people!
I'm so glad you addressed this!! Thank you for sharing. I've really been wondering about this. I actually have found out that a lot of trans women actually havent had their bottom surgery.
IF YOU EVER CONSIDER GETTING GRS AGAIN, I'D ADVICE YOU TO LOOK INTO THE PPV (peritoneum pull through vaginoplasty) TECHNIQUE recently developed in Mumbai. After use on cis women they've altered it to fit the needs of trans women. This technique completely eliminates issues such as lack of depth, self lubrication and life long dilation. Peritoneum tissue is sensitive to hormonal influences, during the healing process it stabilizes the vaginal cavity and changes its characteristics to those of biological vaginal mucosa. Hopefully this technique will become the world wide standard! BTW that hair colour looks GORGEOUS.
Gigi, I've been watching you since day 1. Let me tell you. I needed this video, especially from you. I called my doctor yesterday to discuss this surgery next month. I'm going to be put on the waiting list for this and let me tell you, I am so glad I get to wait because it all seems too real but I am very excited deep down I am ready :)
I think Gigi actually did say the surgery happened. But i can't be sure... Because i always thought Gigi was post-op already too. I think everyone thought so.
I can see why people would think you got the surgery because a film was literally made about your transition. I hope all health and happiness and when it happens your fans are supporting you.
I think a lot of people in the comments are confused. I took this as she has gotten the surgery but not in Thailand and you have to get her book to read about the actual surgery she ended up getting. This video is a cliff hanger and a pretty smart way to sell books!
I'm going through the same thing at the moment and I totally relate, I don't just have fears and worries over it but medical issues as well. It's a HUGE surgery to undertake and you want to feel comfortable. You have to trust your instincts at the end of the day and do what feels right for you. Plus you are still young, you've got plenty of time :)
Natural born female here, not sure if my opinion counts. Just wanted to say in supportive words. Never do anything that doesn't feel right. When you're fully ready to get bottom surgery it will be perfect. It'll all be on your terms with someone you trust and feel comfortable with.
Gigi!!!! Girl as we say in the community all the time. Everyone's transition is different. We all don't get the "surgery". Dysphoria drives us in different ways and how we deal with it. If you don't get bottom surgery you are still woman and great person. It doesn't make you any less and if your fiance is fine with it then you just have to find your happy place with it. I'm like you and have many mixed emotions on the surgery but, for myself this is something I've had dreams on and envisioned even before I came out. You be you and do the surgeries that make you happy.
Gigi.... I am just so glad you followed your instinct and didn’t go through with it. You definitely helped someone today. Wish you all the best, been watching your videos for YEARS! Xoxo
SRS isn’t always the end goal. Not having surgery doesn’t make your identity as a trans woman any less valid. You are you, and you are beautiful no matter what!! Love you Gigi 💕

You rock this darker blonde wig! You look more natural and mature. Beautiful! xoxo from Poland😘
Tu też 👋

The hair is serving some Sofia Vergara.
*To me it looks more like Carrie Bradshaw from sex and city Lol*
Hell nah!
NO
If you are never ready you aren’t any less a women than I am. You can fully accept that you don’t want that surgery or fully accept you want it tomorrow. You are YOU and you don’t have to conform to any type of “normal.” Love the hair color btw!
This moment should be perfect for you. You trusted your gut: NEVER regret that. Lots of love to you for sharing such a raw emotion.
The wigs are on fleek lately! Loving it! Thanks for sharing Gigi 💖
Your face look so different, especially your cheeks and jaw.
Katia JG. i think it’s because she doesn’t use fillers anymore
Maybe she got rid of her top lip filler? Also maybe reducing hormone intake?
She got her jawline and her chin shaved down . Just look at her older videos/pictures . Her face isn't proportionate now lol
I noticed that too
She literally had her skull shaved down to create a more feminine look. So much for accepting herself 🤷♀️
best hair ever, ditch the blonde
kevin It looks a million times better than the bleached out platinum!!!
Kristina Savic yesss!! I wish her and trisha would go without the bleached look for a while and give their hair a break. It honestly suits them both so well.
Yesssss !!! It looks so good !
It’s still blonde but a dark blonde instead of platinum
@@erikaamerica4546 It's brown.
I clearly remember her taking about her surgery 🤔
I think she had the surgery already years ago and just got botched and she doesn’t want to talk about it publicly out of shame. Around the 2:40 marker she hints something along the lines ,,the she doesn’t want to get mutilated twice”. I think she went to Thailand to fix her botched results, but she got scared that it’s gonna be even worse. I don’t know her and I’m not judging her, but I’m just guessing that this is what possibly happened.
She didn't get it. You said you don't know her. But knowing her, she woulda vlogged that sh*t.
i’ve never seen you look THIS stunning and beautiful holy crap! The natural blonde hair color, the makeup, your brows omggg you look sooo good.
I normally don’t care for wigs but they look so fabulous on you Gigi! You’re making me consider buying some ! Where’s a good place to purchase wigs?
Adrian Hush she purchase her wigs from freedom couture :)
Wigsbyvanity
beauty supply store
Wigs by vanity are cheap synthetic drag wigs, freedom couture is all human hair and lasts forever
Luvme Hair is good u can see reviews on there fb page comments
Gigi I’m so glad you made this honest video. Surgery is a huge thing, even if it would be an affirming surgery. It takes time and support to prepare for these big moments! I’m really digging the old school bedroom story time vibes too lol
Also you look amazing with that hair girl 😭
I like how she uses 2022 as an example of the future. That's only three years from now, it's not that far into the future. I don't think technology will be THAT advanced by then
@Mei -mei more likely by 2030 takes years to get approved for human trials
It is a huge moment. And I wasn’t excited at all. I was scared out of my mind. But once I was all finish I am so extremely happy with how it all went down. You will find your moment! Stay true!
gigi is the only person i can SIT THROUGH with storytimes because its just so nostalgic that she's the same fun gigi back in my middle school days
She is such a beautiful, strong woman and I love her so much. Loved her in middle school, been there since day one. She gets more beautiful every day. You go Gigi
Damn this color makes her look amazing. Like a serious business woman and mom lol but on a serious note I prefer this color so much for her!
Sarah Taveira It looks a million times better than the bleached out platinum!!!
Yeah she likes it platinum all over but she should use some dark toner near her roots and do a ashy blonde balayage. I think platinum all over is kinda played out now. It has no dimension anyways it was cool like 5 years ago. @@Icykrissy
You got me with that title guurrll 🤣❤
This is actually so helpful, im so glad you've done this because I thought i was the only one with the fear and doubt but knowing its common and one of the strongest trans people I watch has experienced as well just makes it all that much easier. Thank you.
You should’ve just waited for that 6 month mark. That’s a big change and I knew you wouldn’t go through with it. You have to mentally, spiritually,&emotionally prepare yourself. Wish you luck Gigi! Remembering day one!!! You’ve came a long way gorgeous!❤️❤️❤️
This is none of our business. You are a woman and you don't need to explain yourself whatsoever. Love you Gigi. ❤
No he's not
My sister just had her MTF SRS in Montreal almost 2 weeks ago.
That hair color is way better than the platinum. More natural
Angela Padalecki It looks a million times better than the bleached out platinum!!!
I am all for avoiding all forms of surgery...totally with you on that one. You are who you are and no mefical procedure will define you. You look amazing !!!
Always trust your gut instinct. You made the right choice. Later, if it is the right time to have it, you will know it and not have doubts.
Gigi you did the right thing, so what if you never go through this. that doesn't change who your are your still 100% a woman! You are you a Gorgeous INDIVIDUAL woman be you, you did the right thing love you gorg.
Stop lying to yourself, he's not even 1% woman.
I'm not coming back I'm too stoned 😂😂👏👏👏
100% woman where???
kayliiika How do you define the word "woman"?
love how gigi is talking about something so important and difficult for trans people to speak about publically, and everyone just cares about her wig :/
abigailsiobhanxx why is that an issue? can’t you just be happy for others like you being happy about gigi being trans?
I think because most of us are not trans so there is a bit of a disconnect there & also we don’t really care if she gets surgery or not. We just want her to be happy & thrive. Whether she gets it or not she will still be Gigi & if her & her fiancée are happy then we are happy
Girl I didn't even care that it was on 360p, watched it immediately. Hair color is gorg on you btw.
I LOVE how you jus help people you know with their transitions. Its jus such an amazing thing.🌈🌈🙃
I'm in love with this more natural, less orange look. I didn't realize how stunning you are.
I'm very proud of you for not getting the surgery. Currently reading your book, found it randomly at the public library.
I read so many stories, and heard stories on how it was the biggest regret ever, and if these people could, knowing what they know after the fact, they would've never gone through with it.
Gigi I just went through the gender reassignment surgery and your such an inspiration to means trans women everywhere I love you soo much 💕💕
faye addy hope everything went well gorg!
It did thank you soo much x
faye addy wow this was such a sweet exchange ♥️ and congrats btw
@ She's not going to regret it. She's an actual trans person who had dysphoria and not those people who think it's a trend.
@ your comment is extremely rude.
Just finished watching. Your bravery and honesty about your situation is beyond amazing. You do you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Diary of a Sickie It’s not brown, it’s dark blonde.
You’re still a beautiful woman, without the reassignment surgery. I’m keeping mine until I’m 💯% sure I’m ready.💕
Yes girl I love how you're going back to making more honest real content. I am here for this 🙌
I'm so glad you addressed this!! Thank you for sharing. I've really been wondering about this. I actually have found out that a lot of trans women actually havent had their bottom surgery.
“A wall of smell of fog” .. Gigi you have such a way with words 🤣
your eyes look so fierce in your videos lately damn girl
This hair, those lashes, they bring out your eyes so much! So beautiful!
Robin Berghmans no garanteed lubrication it’s also very experimental
Gigi, I've been watching you since day 1. Let me tell you. I needed this video, especially from you. I called my doctor yesterday to discuss this surgery next month. I'm going to be put on the waiting list for this and let me tell you, I am so glad I get to wait because it all seems too real but I am very excited deep down
I am ready :)
I forget how happy your bedroom story-times make me. Thanks gorg. I needed this.
I thought gigi was a post-op trasngirl .when she was with her ex bf Cory
Yeah Corey's straight i thought
Same
@@katherinek3314 He's not.
CALife how do u know
I think Gigi actually did say the surgery happened. But i can't be sure... Because i always thought Gigi was post-op already too. I think everyone thought so.
love you gigi! blows my mind how long i’ve been watching you. we’ve both changed sooo much lol 💓
I can see why people would think you got the surgery because a film was literally made about your transition. I hope all health and happiness and when it happens your fans are supporting you.
You don’t owe your doctor any thing. You are telling millions that you should think. Thank you for that. True love.
i thought she had the surgery ages ago??
She even said it in the older video
I thought she showed her dilators?
GeorgieeXOXOX I thought so too. I can’t find a video
@@Octoboobs we've been Mandelad lol
I could have sworn she did!
But... I thought you did years ago? Didn't you show the size stretchers?
It was a hoax
@@cherryfangz6917 that's kind of fucked up...
Katie C not really. It’s not really any of your business what parts she has.
It is none of our business but she decided to share her transformation with the public soooo, yeah.
Thelma Behr fr
Love this hair color on you! It’s more of a beauty next door look, which is a nice departure from the glamazon platinum blonde look 😊
Your abuse of jump cuts should be illegal. 🙄
born2shine4ever i literally didn’t even notice
chaela sparks How could you not notice?? She jump cuts literally after every two words! It’s so unnecessary. 🤦🏽♂️
born2shine4ever Idk I don’t mind it. Like it’s not a big deal to me lol
Aww, that’s what it is. Yes kind of annoying!
I didn't realize that till just now.
Now I can't unsee it. Lol
Honestly giving me Jennifer Anniston vibes with this hair😍😍
Jennifer Maniston
Xoxo
Bedroom floor feels ✔️
Wild storytime ✔️
Hair color that hella suits you ✔️
Real Gigi out here ❤️
I felt the same way when my dad passed that year I was like a walking zombie I don't remember anything. Love you Gorg
SRS isn’t always the end goal.
Not having surgery doesn’t make your identity as a trans woman any less valid. You are you, and you are beautiful no matter what!! Love you Gigi 💕
Yes, I struggle with making that decision, it’s so scary and emotional 😭 you go back and forward with it
You don't have to do it.. so many people regret doing it and become severely depressed. Like you said there's no going back.
