Oh it's so true on each version (as in before the gender switch and after). I feel like everyone of each gender can relate to each version. Sadly selfish, sociopathic narcissism knows no gender, and so many men and women alike have fallen victim to dating such a person.
For what it's worth, I know significantly more females who've dated someone like that, but I definitely know of a couple guys who've dated someone like that too. And it's so sad because I KNOW I can't talk them into leaving the relationship, because I know when I'm in love, my desire to maintain to euphoria of love will ALWAYS override any common sense that could jeopardize that blissful emotion of love.
