Great to hear him say that it's for guys switching from sport bikes to vtwin. That's exactly what I'm doing and just picked these up. Let's ride!

I am switching from a sport touring bike to a v-twin Harley. I never rode my old bike especially hard and agressive. What I want is not high speed cornering and serious leaning grip, but rather a good amount of grip and confidence from the tires as I learn and get used to how a bigger, heavier v-twin operates. Even if they don't last as long. Would the Cruisetecs be a good choice for this?

Hi, the Cruisetec would be a good fit for what you're looking for. The dual compound design will provide good traction/grip and predictability with great stability and support for the heavier bikes like Harleys. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

I just ordered a ME880 from you, what I had on the bike for years, amazing custom service by the way. In the future, when I need new shoes again. Would you recommend this tire for a 03 Vrod? Love the 880 grip but with the way I ride and the lovely Indiana roads, they don't last (way better then OEM) that long. Would this version of tire preform the same with being longer lasting?

Hi thanks for watching our video. Both tires are great options and the cruisetecs would suit a V-Rod very well. The Cruisetec are more a performance oriented tire so you'll see enhanced grip, stability, braking and maneuverability. As for mileage, it's dependent on several factors such as riding style, terrain, etc. We haven't tested these tires so unfortunately we can't speak on mileage.

@@Manis-World I've had a similar experience. I put Commander III's on my Street Glide because they were so well-reviewed and I wanted a tire that was good in the rain. I found the Commander III to not even be all that good in the dry. I got sick of my rear losing grip as often as it did (and the front got squirrely on me a time or two as well), so after about 2500 miles on the Michelins I switched to these Cruisetecs. They're everything I wanted the Commander III to be and then some. I might never put anything else on my bikes.

I prefer to sacrifice mileage for grip. Think about it a high mileage tire sounds great, if you live to wear it out...I’ll take grip all day long.
