I think it's a damn shame that level design is rarely discussed in these types of videos, it a key facet of Sonic and something that noticeably evolves as the series continues. It would make discussion about games like SA2 and 06 much less one note, and without stuff like that this video ends up feeling less like a discussion on how 3D Sonic has evolved, and more of "Here's a bunch of bite-sized reviews of some 3D Sonic games" with a noticeable slant towards the Adventure games and their mechanics.
Thanks for your feedback man. I noticed the video sort of turned into this after release, and i know i can make it better. Maybe i'll make a video discussing level design. Writing is the thing i know im weakest at when it comes to making videos, so i apologise if the video wasnt enjoyable for you.
level design is one of those things that's never appreciated. Good level design in a game is practically invisible to the person playing, especially in this series

I started to appreciate the diversity of gameplay styles when I played Frontiers and Unleashed.
I got so caught off guard when colors gameplay started playing and it was Blaze running down starlight Carnival 😂.
