These two had more chemistry in one scene, one song, one second than any of the other Glee couples had in the entire series run. Both characters were horribly underutilised and so was their romantic plot potential.
Bee To say that they had more chemistry then Jesse and Rachel might be a bit much, but they definitely did have really good chemistry. I think with Quinn’s actor not retiring as much as the others, they’re wasn’t anything for Joe to do which shows when you look at Season 4 and realize he’s just there (same with Sugar, but tbh, I don’t think anyone was expecting them to do anything with Sugar coming out of Season 3) Think about it like this. These few scenes he had with Quinn were probably the only thing of Significance Joe did in his time on the show.
I love how Quinn blushes at Joe after she admits that she likes him :) it's like "oh heck I'm blushing uh...quick! Pillow! Perfect!" Haha that's the exact sort of thing I'd do haha xxx
I love Joe!!!! I think that he could have had a great storyline, he was so interesting and different from the other guys. What a waste of a great actor and character. Also, his voice is AWESOME. I'm still really mad that other characters got more screen time. Moreover, when Quinn left, Joe was just swaying in the background :(
I really believe they could be one of the most complex relationship on the show if they keep them on. I hate Puck and Quinn. He’s honest and kind and respects her in a way that she has a hard time doing for herself.
I actually think Puinn (Puck and Quinn) made a lot of sense, they were always in love with each other. But I did really like Quinn and Joe, and he was what she needed at the time, and the viewers were robbed of more
This was easily one of my top 3 pairings on the show. It probably could have gone somewhere without all of the behind the scenes drama. Ryan Murphy strikes (out) again.
To be honest... I would kinda like to see them together but Quick is endgame, what the hell happen to him and also why do they forget about this storyline?
Caitlin Santasa Quinn didn't want to ruin such a great guy. She is young and she always messes up her relationships and herself. Like with Finn, or Puck, or Sam. She likes him too much to hurt him or lead him to hate her. So they don't get together.
+fragilefrances Blake and Samuel* haha :3 The sad thing is the huge difference in their characters: Samuel spoke like five times on the show and Ryder was everywhere, also he sng a lot! :(
at the beginning of every school year this dude ( i forgot his name but brittany called him jewish cloud of hair once ) makes those videos, y'know what i mean? could you upload those scenes?
what i didn't understand about their relationship is: Joe didn't want to date Quinn because of "sins of the flesh", so why couldn't they have had a sexless relationship like other Christian couples?
THis is going to be a very unpopular opinion but....the hottest/most beautiful man on this show was Joe Hart/Samuel Larsen and the sexiest man on the show was Paolo san Pablo/Ioan Gruffudd
Wasted potential! Quinn needed someone smart and straight up with her to help her with her insecurities. This could have been a really great to watch passionate romance. Like come on. That chemistry is glaringly obvious.
She means she'd rather Joe stuck with his faith no matter what than give it up for her. She doesn't want to see him throw away his values. I agree it's not that clear though- it's not very good writing.
How's that hard to understand or bad writing? Quinn is in a place in her life where she's convinced she's lost everything. That beautiful, popular girl whom everyone adored, gone. She's disillusioned at the fleeting nature of everything. So she takes comfort in the things that are constant, and in that one moment latches onto Joe's dedication to God. Simple as that.
Quinn lost everything. It's not just a status thing, she legit lost things that mattered like her father's love (if she ever even had it), trust in her mother, her former home when she was kicked out, etc... Sure, she projects all of her sense of loss into winning prom queen because that's SOMETHING she can actually control that would hopefully give her external validation that she can't get from her family. She likes that Joe's faith is something he won't ever lose because she would never wish her own sense of loss and uncertainty in life on anyone
British Nobleman Nope which is disappointing because I feel like he, Rory, Unique, and Sugar should have become the next leading class after Tina, Sam and the others graduated. Glee could have become the next degrassi and ran for literal years but instead they focused on shipping.
@@mkwhite5054 unique shouldn't be mentioned because it's so unfair that samuel won the glee project and Alex got more screen time than him like come on.
No, he really didn't. He was my favorite character and he never even got 1 solo, which he deserved. The actor, Samuel Larsen was also in the movie After (which was based on a book) and his character wasn't given the screen time he deserved in that either. He's such a good actor but he doesn't ever seem to catch a break. :(
It's a shame too, because Joe could've had a storyline about his faith and how some things are perfectly permissible so long as he's a good person, because that's fundamentally what being a good Christian should be about. He sees more of the world and keeps his faith, he just learns to be more moderate about it. Meanwhile, Quinn had the performative Christianity down because her family made everything about presentism and how you are perceived, so it would've been interesting to see her actually explore her faith as something private rather than something to be seen performing. Maybe even ask herself if she has actual faith or if it was just a ritual she had to go through in order to be accepted. Regardless of which way she'd go, it would've still been an interesting storyline and dynamic to explore for both of them. Regardless of which way Quinn would've gone, she'd still be supportive and loving towards Joe and his faith. Just... so many missed opportunities But that probably wouldn't have been sexy enough for Ryan Murphy and he hated Quinn and Dianna Agron, so unfortunately the good storyline can only live in fanfic
God knows that we are human and we are going to be tempted. He understands sometimes we fall short and he’s always ready to forgive us. But he also expects us to at least *try* Sam’s idea of Christianity isn’t really Christianity. You can’t straddle between the world and God. You have to choose one.
I love puck and Quinn together and they better get back together and get married and Beth find out their her birth parents and try have a relahip with them around that time Quinn find out she is pregant again for the 2 time
True, but Quinn's Christianity was more performative than anything else. Which makes sense, her parents were all about how they looked to the world. They were the sort of Christians who would proselytize in spite of Jesus explicitly saying not to do that, since you're only performing to be seen as pious rather than actually being pious. If anything, I'm surprised that they didn't go for the obvious storyline of Quinn questioning her own faith when it was so performative when she sees how Joe actually IS pious without all the celibacy clubs and other markers that would label someone as religious regardless of their actions. It could've been a great storyline while delving deeper into their relationship either as friends or lovers. But, eh, Ryan Murphy hated Quinn, so he never would've given her such a deftly interesting storyline
These two had more chemistry in one scene, one song, one second than any of the other Glee couples had in the entire series run. Both characters were horribly underutilised and so was their romantic plot potential.

THEY WERE SO PERFECT WHY DIDN'T THEY END UP TOGETHER !?😭😭

Why does he look like an elf Prince with dreads
I love that guy, he's like an IRL Gajeel Redfox !
Why was Joe not in more of Glee after season 3?
He was in the beginning of season 4

I'm a little lost. What did Quinn mean when she said, 'Because it's nice knowing that there's something out there that can't be lost' ?
So what she means is that God is something that you won't ever lose?
She means she'd rather Joe stuck with his faith no matter what than give it up for her. She doesn't want to see him throw away his values.
I agree it's not that clear though- it's not very good writing.

The sentiment isn't hard to understand but it's phrased ambiguously. In that sense it's not very good writing.
Quinn lost everything.
