Looks great. More commenting about what you’re doing while working. Either by voice over or while you’re doing it. What each line does and how it’s connected. What the fish are and how many estimated caught. How do pick up the fish the spill over. Etc. all the explanations would be helpful. And how cold it is out. How cold the water is. Time stamps etc. how long you’ve been hauling each segment. Thanks for sharing. You’re very relatable and easy to follow.
Is it the same crew every season? Who owns the boat? Are you all from Seattle or does the crew come from everywhere? Is it always Pollock you fish for? Have you had any accidents, near missies or awful storms?
100% making me miss Kodiak and trawling. Pollock is such a good fishery too, and pretty much focused on production and quality. Thanks for sharing, and mind those hammerlocks!
Dope video man, teach us what you can about the job. I think people get inspired by watching you and would like to try and gain knowledge of the job and like how/why things are done.
I love the Northwestern that is my favorite boat on Deadliest Catch Thank You so much for showing it in your video. I really enjoy your fishing videos keep up the great work your doing an amazing job! 🦀
awesome videos man👌🏼👌🏼for a teenager planing to be a fisherman on trawler i must say this content is so fun to watch because i get too see more indepth of what you do while fishing and not and would really like to see more🤩
It’s interesting because when I watched deadlest catch on TV there seemed to be a lot of yelling and screaming and fighting on these boats. You guys seem chill compared to that show. How many bags can you bull in each trip?
Oh man so sad we have the equipment to clean the oceans out and so we do it with 7 going on 10 billion people on the planet and the wild fish stocks at a fraction of where they were 50 years ago so I am sure that you can see where this goes and it is not good or sustainable we really need to think about the future and our children ....
...hey Jake🌬 why don't you one-up those deadliest hairdressers and git rid of Happy Days on deck! In short wait till ya rip one of dem big Swans from the big mesh(90ft) to da codend,in shit weather, got spare, rip dat one, don't puss and go to to town 👉any ding-a-ling can set &haul a net but not until you can mend the whole enchilada will you ever attain the qualifications qualification of Master Trawlerman! shit Jake crab fishing is"how many ways does it take the monkey to put the peanut in the can" trawlin' Rollins
1. Do you guys have local friends there since you’re there so long? 2. Is there place to party or go out at night when you’re in port? 3. Anyone ever go overboard?
I came from tiktok too. This was really cool! I like your content a lot, I’d love to see a video about what workouts you do that help you with your job. All the pushing/ pulling etc. your job is obviously super physical.
Literally never seen that many fish 😂 damn never interested me what fishermen do but you make it entertaining I quite enjoy the content thanks for sharing
As often as possible and board trawling you will get probably 39 minutes before next shot if you don't have to steam and you do this for atleat 18 hours of the day Smaller boats do anyway, these guys can fill up very quick

More fishing content. Please 😊
Great video Jay.
Here from TikTok! Love your content!
Awesome! Thank you
I'm sure its a simple answer? But would rather just ask. But how do big fish not get caught? And how are the nets full of all the same exact fish?
It’s interesting because when I watched deadlest catch on TV there seemed to be a lot of yelling and screaming and fighting on these boats. You guys seem chill compared to that show. How many bags can you bull in each trip?
How often do you get those brows done bud?
Is it easier to get on one of your boats or a crab boat
Vacation in Hawaii
#Grateful 🙏 love you guys, thank you, #mahalo
Let’s gooo
Boom!!
How big is ya trawl?
This s better than deadliest catch because it is real. It shows how mundane it really is. I've fished for 25 years and this is legit.
What do you think of the thyboron doors with regards to stability etc. and are you towing mid water or in the bottom with them? Thanks
Keep on grinding
Do you usually gain or lose weight on the ship? How much do you weigh now?
What do you do with the fish that fall over the side when the fish nets open
Definitely, weird shit that shows up in the nets. How do you target pollock and not end up with tons of random things that wind up in the hull?
Different species will look different in the downsounders and theres just years of fishing out here so we have a pretty good idea of where to go
Are just an employee or do you own the boat or are you partnered with someone? Would also love to see a breakdown of the pay
Found you on instagram but I can't follow no more people so I found you on my other fav app bro and I subbed and liked the vid Love from Virginia 🤞🏾
Appreciate you bro thank you!
here from tiktok
Appreciate it!
How often do you eat fish
I came from TikTok
Appreciate you!
How old are you and where do you live when you’re not fishing. How much can you make in a season? Looks like a shit ton of fish
I’m 24, started when I was 16 though. I live in Seattle! Pay varies alot depending on a bunch of variables
that looked like all juvenile fish
Where can I apply? Got the experience & wanna try smth different
Go to the fisherman coop where they unload or wharfs with boats
Ask for a tucker trip and apply yourself
I work for UniSea
0:02
Meals and bunk room
I want to catch some fish and I don't get sea sick
Its nothing like the deadliest catch. Crab fishing is way more dangerous.

1. Do you guys have local friends there since you’re there so long?
2. Is there place to party or go out at night when you’re in port?
3. Anyone ever go overboard?
Describe type of trawl and doors, parts of the trawl, splitting straps etc..very nice and real presentation
Your job is dangerous brother. Can I come ? 😊
I came from tiktok too. This was really cool! I like your content a lot, I’d love to see a video about what workouts you do that help you with your job. All the pushing/ pulling etc. your job is obviously super physical.

How did you get a car where you work assuming this is seasonal and you live in the lower 48?
You’re correct! Our company bought the truck for our crew
Explain how you get paid, like is it per load, or salary, etc. either than that cheers bro
It’s based off total catch, I can explain in more detail next video!
What’s the work schedule like? How often do u go out there
As often as possible and board trawling you will get probably 39 minutes before next shot if you don't have to steam and you do this for atleat 18 hours of the day
Smaller boats do anyway, these guys can fill up very quick
What kind of fish are they and what are they used for?
Pollock! They are used for a ton of stuff
I came from tiktok
Awesome 👌🏼
Good job and from IG
Thank you!
