  • Join me as I find Ancient Treasures and other great stuff along the Ohio River, using only a plastic bucket purchased at the local Walmart for $2.47. I uncovered Native American artifacts thousands of years old, Native pottery, flintlock gun relics and what appears to be a whole mouthful of teeth. AND MORE! Entertaining and educational. An Adventure For Everyone.

    Not a lot of people know this, but natives used to coat certain tools or effigies in a layer of limonite. I'm not sure how they made it stick but i have a boat stone that was coated in a 1/16-inch layer of limonite and the stone under it is some kind of hard stone. I can also see marks on it as if they sanded it into a more precise shape.

      My bad guy I thought you were looking at the stick video. But, yeah try that bucket it works really well. If there’s a lot of gravel, take a rake and rinse it and then stir it up and rinse it and just keep moving it around. Good luck to you man👍

      Well, I’m in SE Ohio, right by the Hocking River which feeds into the Ohio. Might work because the Hocking’s level changes with the rains.

      Well, I forgot them on the beach and the high water took them. Give someone a find down river. I think they were someone’s that had their teeth pulled, maybe to get dentures.🤷‍♂️👍

    Man I’ve been trying to just walk the banks for weeks now and I haven’t even found a broken one, and I feel like if I do this method with the bucket I won’t find anything cuz the location but idk, hopefully you see this and reply to help me out I’m in Indiana right here on the banks of the Ohio river. In a small town of Vevay.

      I hear ya, sometimes I go days without a find. I can’t make a video unless I find a good spot. If you watch my last video, it gives more detail on what to look for. But, bottom line..... There has to be stuff there to find it. It’s all about finding a site, then the artifacts come easy. Hope you find a Killer, don’t give up.👍

    • @keithgillespie2400
      @keithgillespie2400 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well thanks for the encouragement and I will definitely watch the other one that goes into more detail. But i guess just walking the waters edge is doing it all wrong lol I need to find them roots and lodges and stuff and take a bucket down there and rinse the top layer off like you did. Also is it illegal to do that and sift in the Ohio? Just wondering cuz my dad said it was illegal to do it.

    • @cleggsadventures

      If there’s a water cut bank below a flat area above where people could have lived. The higher the cut bank the better. You can find stuff with a lower cut bank, the artifacts usually aren’t as old. Wherever you you think would be an ideal location to live.

    These creepy human teeth could have been evidence of a violent crime. The teeth might have belonged to a missing person.
    It seems unlikely that someone would rip their own teeth out so violently that the roots were still on them.
