Looks good. For the area on the top that is sticking out you have to remove a part on the mirror that sticks out for it to sit flush. There’s a dimple on the new doors that it sits into. I used a reciprocating tool to knock the plastic part off. This will also keep water from getting behind the motor and down into the door
Nice job on the video as usual, I really enjoy your vids. Hey, I wonder if you'd consider making a "review of parts" video on all the stuff you did when rebuilding your engine. Such as, are all the parts working as you expected, would you use those parts again or suggest something else, and have you had any issues with any of the parts in your daily use. Just a suggestion, if you don't mind. Keep up the great work, I really like watching your videos man.
Thanks man I appreciate your feedback. I will definitely think about doing an update video. As of right now I know I will never use Holders injectors again. Since my build I’ve already had three injectors come apart at the spool valves and I had to have them warranty out. So they told me to send all 8 in because they were torqued correctly when they built them 😡 so far so good after I got them back.
Does your driver side mirror fold in completely parallel with truck? I spent the big $ for BOOST mirrors and the driver side mirror doesn’t fold in completely and points outward s bit. Not happy!😡 Wondering if all retrofits do this. I know new trucks with OEM new style mirrors fold properly, and completely parallel.
Recently bought a set for my 07 F250. Had the 08 style which were better than the old ones but they started cracking and couldn’t fold or telescope them, which sucks when towing my camper.
Not at all I’ve been very pleased with these mirrors. I kind of thought the same thing and was worried about it but haven’t had any issues with them vibrating and my excursion isn’t the smoothest ride going down the road.
So i have the same ex as you but i dont have the side steps with the lights. How else do you think i could get power to these? Finding the headlight running light wire behind the light control switch?
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE now i want them just will be a bit more wiring since my truck doesn’t have turn signals in the tow mirrors but it would be worth it do the lights look interchangeable in case one goes out?
No need to run wires to your side step lights you have switched 12v powering your window switches lights and as for the turn signal just run a wire through the door jam and connect it later.
Boost Auto Parts has superior mirrors to these cheap Chinese mirrors for less than half the price of OEM. They even have power fold/extend mirrors for our generation of Super duty.

Thanks for the tip I’ll check that out.

If my 07 f250 doesn’t have running board lights like yours, where else could I hook up the courtesy lights of the mirrors?
Are top of adjustable mirrors shake at all when car bumps Or high speed? Thanks

Do you have the light in the door panel?
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE no I do not.
How bright are the side lights and puddle lights in pitch dark?
They are super bright and light up the whole side. I’m actually really impressed by these mirrors especially for only being $199.

It was double the cost of these.
