    I'd buy that Yezdi tomorrow! 2600 bucks? 350cc and 29 hp? Perfect!

    CCM for me. Bit expensive but oozes quality and is everything a scrambler should be.

    The Tamarit is absolutely gorgeous 😍 . Why get a Brixton, when you can get a Triumph. Last and least, the electric "scrambler" is crap.

    CCM Maverick is the most balance in both aesthetics and specs.

    I owned a 305 scrambler in 1967 ! ( probably my favorite motorcycle) l had a 350 scrambler in 70 whatever, l can remember! The 350 was a way faster than the 305 But! I’ve owned several motorcycles and the scrambler has a spot in my old heart! The triumph looks good but triumphs are famous for not being dependable. I would probably but it for looks?

    My brother, heads up the Alaskan Hy, Now and then to visit is daughter. It would be nice, to have a couple scramblers, with large enough gas tanks. If they would just come up, with bear proof pup tents.

    When talking dirt bike, the important point is weight ! Unfortunately this is missing here

      Thank you for the suggestion, I will try to include this metric here

  • @Deertracks123

    Some of them look good just not supporting China or Indian made bikes plus reliability is utmost of importance

  • @thespeedofchillax

    top bad most of these can't be bought over here stateside....the cfmoto clx 700 adventure is one I would include here, as well as the brixton 500 crossfire xc is a much better brixton for the scrambler list.

    Knobby's look cool in the show room I'll admit, but perform poorly cornering at speed (>50mph) especially in the wet. Shallow knobby's are worthless off road if you hit sand or anything loose & steep. 4" of suspension travel doesn't leave room for dampening much more than a change in road color. These bikes do look romantic, give you that. But tech like a mono shock rear (Hi speed stability), power : weight, fuel economy, engine longevity/reliability might be advancements we're slowly losing in the retro game. Granted they do look way better than the 'insect-transformer' trend. And I love the movement towards analogue displays. Scrolling menus do not belong on motorcycles.(Suck in cars too) Personally all I want to know from my bike is how much faster can I go before I'm noticed by the ticket writer's, fuel level, oil temp, lights & neutral. The rest I can figure out myself or get a nav sys. that actually works (& doesn't phone corporate every 5secs) The biggest innovation I'd like to see more of is cargo storage as boring as that sounds, how many grocery bags can I carry ? Every single manufacturer's already shown me how to get a 3sec clip spinning the rear & how waterproof they want us to believe they are. All Hollywood stupid. No one's that gullible anymore, are they ? (chic's for the most part don't care what you ride.) (more interested in your job, believe me) Initial happiness is fine but long term good road handling & reliability will keep that smile wider longer.
    Dirt for the dirt. Road for the road, na'er the twain shall meet. As thar lies mediocrity

    Honda CL500 is the best. Not so strong, heavy and expensive. Especialy the engine of Honda very economic and very good.

    • @automotiveterritory

      It's a nice option indeed

    • @panagdimi
      @panagdimi ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; IMHO, the CL500 looks and feels like a bin parts bike so that Honda won't be marked absent from the scrambler frenzy of these times. Honda is one of my favorite companies but this one must be the least attractive bike ever produced by the company.
