“Not redesigning it because it’s iconic sounds like a copout. Anyway, these still look great and iconic in 2023” I hope you can appreciate the absurdity of what you just said.
One other reason at the end to consider them: for the gym. I’ve seen a lot of people suggesting headphones like the XM5 but ultimately, if I take them to the gym, they will probably break with sweat moisture. Meanwhile, the Beats are set up to be a bit more forgiving in terms of sweating in them.
Can’t comment on the sweat resistance as both lack any kind of water resistance rating, however the Beats have more clamping force, so are more likely to stay on your head when doing bench press or similar.
I currently have 9 over the ear headphones in my collection and my Beats Studio 3's are pretty much the bottom of the barrel out of my sets , so I was hoping for much more out of the Pros. I'm guessing I'll pass on these, unless I give away my 3's and still want Beats in my collection. Thanks for the honest review.
Exactly, you're the only one that mention that, the "plasticky feel". I've got 3 pair of Studio 3's and all of them broke from the same part, that hinge, and from the plastic in the inside of the cup, and that part can't be repair only if you unmount the entire affected cup. 😒😮💨
Good review, but honestly, I wouldn't describe these as having a "neutral" sound profile. There's still a bit extra bass and extra brightness towards the top. The Bose QuietComfort 45s aren't neutral either, but they are more so than the Studio Pros.
I still use Beats Flex. Its sound quality isn't bad actually. Can just hang around my neck which is easier than the wireless one where u need to put it back in the case. Beats should upgrade the Flex with all the tricks and new chip.
I have the pros I love them but my best experience was when I tried these very cheap headphones about 6 years ago and I loved the sound of them and waaayyyy cheaper than the 300 dollar Bose headphones which I returned! The headphones are called Goji I’m curious to see reviews on them nowadays if they’re still good or not
Thanks for the video but the sound probably matches up with the Apple AirPods pro max I’ll take saving a couple hundred bucks and sound matches up. So I’ll take the beats over the very nice and very heavy AirPods Max. Thanks for your perspective on this
The review is decent on this one. You missed out how the battery is and as well like more day to day use with ANC on. As well if it’s good on taking to a plane. Overall honest review.
The ability to fold and 3.5mm jack are important for travel. Wish Sony would refine their XM4 folding mechanism in their next iteration of WH-1000 series. Same thing for Sennheiser momentum - giving up their folding old style headphone design that is full of character for their current bland generic non folding design.
Lossless cannot be supported via bluetooth. That goes for every single headphone. It is not technically possible. If you want to enjoy lossless quality music you will need to use the USB-C included in the package or the wired jack.
Does this new model allow you to use the cable with a microphone, so that it is possible to use the microphone with the product turned off? and the audio only comes out using the cable, just like in Studio 3
Your review was outstanding. Keep up the great work. Is there any value to purchasing Apple Care+ for this item? Pay no mind to the $350 retail price. These can be found on sale just about anywhere and for the low price of $170. Everyone should know that any wireless headphones, lossless cannot be achieved. You must be plugged in and that's why these are great because with the USB-C connection you can enjoy lossless and hi-res music Also, the Brown color is 🔥
ARE BEATS STUDIO PROS COMPATIBLE WITH XBOX? & IF SO CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE HOW TO DO SO? I JUST BOUGHT MY SON A PAIR & WAS HOPING THE HEADPHONES WOULD BE MULTI USE SO I CAN GET RID OF ALL THE OTHERS HE USES FOR HOS XBOX!
These are so recognizable that I would not wear them outside. Don"t them to get robbed. I can see adding decals and color to them to make them look not like Beats.
To my own opinion i think the new beats studio pro. Is a con. I think it doesn't sound as good plus the the bass is weaker sound tinny to. If i had a choice i would pick the sony xm5 better sound quality and better bass response over the beats studio pro.😮😮
You can tell he was not a fan 30 seconds in. I bought a pair yesterday, I love them.
Same, TH-camrs are very afraid of not giving cliche answers. These are very good
fr
Wdym the headphones are shit@@thegeorge077
How are they keeping up?

@@User57655true bit iv had my solo3 for 6 years wesring them every day and bringing them everywhere no issues
They took “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” to a whole new level
''6 year old design''
well they still look amazing !!!

Which ones for you like?
Guess you’re a good person to ask

Appreciate the honest review
Amazing review. Literally ur criminally underrated

This is pretty much the best review on these since these came out. Very honest and no flash and flare. I like this review.
Im on Android and I use these with the usb c cable while on the Usb Audio Player Pro app. Listening to Hi Res audio on these is very nice.
5:56 wait is this true??

indeed iconic !
come on, look at them... would you seriously want them to change ?
Thanks for the video but the sound probably matches up with the Apple AirPods pro max I’ll take saving a couple hundred bucks and sound matches up. So I’ll take the beats over the very nice and very heavy AirPods Max. Thanks for your perspective on this

Agreed, he tested noise cancellation by putting them on in off in one sitting, instead of taking them out and really testing them.

I used to have some beats in 09 and 10 and then never bought them again for a while. Currently on sale for 179 and I’m on the fence bout them.
Subbed to your channel a couple days back and really enjoying the super high quality content man :)
at least they're being honest.
when it comes to phones, they all have ''glass'' back panels while it OBVIOUSLY feels like plastic.
is the lossless support available on bluetooth or wired?
I’m pretty sure the lossless support is only while using it wired. I’m also relatively sure that lossless doesn’t work through Bluetooth.
Lossless is only available through wired USB C.
Lossless cannot be supported via bluetooth. That goes for every single headphone. It is not technically possible.
If you want to enjoy lossless quality music you will need to use the USB-C included in the package or the wired jack.

Can you rank headphones? I need help purchasing a good one,
I wonder when Bose will update the 700s?
My beats pro lasted me a few years and then the battery started dying and now it doesn’t sound the same 😢
Please tell Beats to make them a Red and Black colorway.
Your review was outstanding. Keep up the great work. Is there any value to purchasing Apple Care+ for this item?

Just make shortcuts in apple devices for quick swap connection.
Beats that support Lossless? Never thought I'd see it
Im sure its cause they won’t release another til 6 years so they wanna sort of future proof them
Yes because they won’t release another for like 10 years
is there a way to have lossless with Lightning? i have a lightning iphone but i loved the audio quality of the wired DAC
You can achieve that if you also purchase the $9 Apple lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
@@javtimestwo i have that already but i had the understanding that via USB C it had a DAC and sounded better than 3.5
@@fenixblogs you are correct. with these headphones via USB C it will sound better because of the superior DAC
Enjoy!
Conclusion: get the Bose 700 or Airpods Max (if you have a higher budget)
Does it have multipoint connectivity?
It connects to all iCloud devices so in control center you can switch to them

I bought it just because is Apple
The Sony case is ridiculous.
1:37 however the Bose 700 and Sony XM5 cases are slimmer.
good video
interesting. very interesting.

Hix i using beats studio 3
For a daily driver 700 or bose?
Bought mine for 200$ so, I think they are a better deal 😅
Iconic for maybe 2012, these things look super chintzy almost like a kids toy.
Tbh I’m just gonna wait it out until the Airpods max 2. My bose 700 works for now
Iconic? Looks cheap af. 😂 Even more than Xm5.
this honestly sounds like a flop
They look the same and use the same plastic I hate about the beats. Sigh
Apple's crappiest product
Love how you blatantly copied MKBHD's title from his iPhone SE 3 review, thanks!
Did I? Haven’t seen that vid 🤷🏻♂️

There can only be so much creativity for a video title every time
Get a life my guy… go make some friends

Idk what to get the Beats Pro or air pods pro 2 🧍
