    The worry I have is that when a generation is trying to ignore the past, or rewrite it, any lessons that could have been learned wont be. And the mistakes of the past will happen again. Theres obviously implications for this that extend beyond just entertainment.
    Something to keep you all awake at night.

      If you say you are non-binary then you have placed yourself in a binary set of Binary and non-binary. Its a binary choice. Therefore you are now... binary.

      @@zuriyel5368 Hence why John Wick was a huge hit. You could actually SEE what the hell was going on in the action sequences versus shaky cam and quick cuts in the majority of modern action films.

    ATLA did a great job of making strong female characters that were still beautiful and feminine. Yue, Suki, Katara, Azula, Mei, Tai Li. Even Toph enjoyed getting all girlied up in the episode toward the end of season 2.

    its genuinely harder to write a strong women than a strong man..
    strong man is ..just a physically imposing man whoes assertive and very competent at what he does..
    a strong women is more complicated ..a strong women isnt just sombody physically imposing..becase a man is more imposing then a strong women..a womens strength is more subdued and subtle...its a women controlling a situation with a softer touch..its more brain than brawn ..espedcially in a medevil setting
    a character is only as smart as the person writing them ,Strong women require more intelligence than alot of writers have the capacity to portray...so they just slap on male characteristics on a woman and create an unrealistic insufferable person..because the reality is men and women are different and male traits on women doesnt look good and its the same vice versa.
