Your medlies are awesome! My theories as to why: You don't linger on just one game You don't linger on just a few songs, bouncing from one to another. Orchestral variety. Cosplay?? Visuals telling you the song instead of demanding you know every song to recognize it. You mix the most iconic stuff with some of the lesser known stuff, giving a great representation of the respective series.
This is the most beautiful arrangement of ballad of the wind fish I have ever heard, not to mention how seamlessly it transitions Into the botw theme with that flute lick that I’m addicted to

The legendary Zelda medley review Hands-down my favorite piece of music by these guys, and here’s why. The legend of Zelda series has such wonderful music, and each and every song has its own unique story and meaning. They can range from being gleeful and filled with joy, to being tense and ripe with fear, or they can even be haunting, serene or even have a somber, sad, sorrowful or even mournful tone. Or sometimes it can even be a combination of any of these amazing and/or agonizing emotions, and whatever happens in any scene of the series is perfectly enhanced by the beautiful compositions of the musicians working for Nintendo. I feel like when someone does this kind of video they need to be able to do the music justice on the feelings that the original songs induce, but these guys, they went above and beyond that goal. With each song they chose they perfectly captured and amplified the essence of the original songs, while also enhancing the powerful emotional forces of them. Everything that was played here sounded as if it was played by a master of all music, that coupled with the elements of music added to enhance the original song only serves to elevate the feels from this music. As an empathic autistic with ADHD, What this video does to me it it brings me into a state of pure and amplified emotion. Like the emotions I mention a minute ago joy, sadness, fear, haunting, sorrow, serenity and even mourning, each song is an essence of perfectly captured beauty and profoundly amplified feelings. And every time I watch this video I experience strong emotional states of Overjoyed cheer, Fearful dread, tenseness or even Overwhelming Sadness and sorrow. And whenever I’m in these strong emotional states I’m very vulnerable to letting out a good cry 😭 And I don’t care if people see me cry, because it’s perfectly fine for a grown man to cry 😭 What FreddeGredde has done here is what music should always be, and I think that things like this are things that are lost a lot in today’s music and popular culture. And, most importantly, watching this video and listening to this medley had gave me a new appreciation for the for the music of The legend of Zelda. It’s made me feel a hell of a lot less guilty for thinking of the Legend of Zelda soundtracks as non replicable, and this medley has reinforced my understanding that there’s no wrong way the cover the legend of Zelda music. We’re all just learning to appreciate what this kind of music done for us, and despite the mind blowing level of beauty in these songs, people have still found ways to do justice to the music of the legend of Zelda. And honestly, that’s pretty damn impressive Sincerely, Parker.
You're right, many pieces in the zelda franchise are fantastic, my favorite zelda soundtrack is Ocarina of Time's. Dang! it has so much beauty, every time i hear zelda's lullaby, i always think of Ocarina of time and how the boy without a fairy grew up to be the hero of time.
Chris Williams it makes me think of the tragic life of the hero of time, how so much was riding on his shoulders when he didn’t feel ready, how he was born into his role and wanted nothing more than to enjoy life as a kid, how the timeline split cause him to live out a life without recognition in one life (child timeline) and have his merits fade into legend in another life (adult timeline). The tragic life of the hero of time is something that not a lot of Zelda fans know about, and is truly saddening and heartbreaking to know that the hero of time did (in the child timeline) was not remembered as a hero and met a tragic end without seeing his children and descendants. Knowing about the tragic life of the hero of time, is truly heartbreaking😭
The scene with aryll's theme is just perfectly heartwarming to me. You just finished a great battle and here comes a ship with your sister and other characters you have come to love. It's just very nostalgic to watch.
That's great, i love how you did the songs connect to each other. It's fantastic, i'll show this video if anyone ask me why i like The Legend of Zelda. I need to learn and play some of these songs, i remembered my old dream of having a real Ocarina and playing some songs on it! Great job there!
I got about 30 seconds into the video and I was just overcome with emotion. I shut off all light and just listened as the chills went up and down my body. So many memories, so many stories, so many good times had exploring the world of legend of zelda. Truly, this kind of stuff is why I love to be alive and breathing on this earth. While I know you did not make the music, you did compile all these songs together into this video. I cannot thank you enough, this is truly special to me.
i love this medley so endlessly much, i keep coming back to it every time i can, what a masterpiece! (my favorite part is your cover of the oot windmill theme, i wish i had a full hour loop of this one part alone)
I listened to this medley with complete joy on a daily basis as I discovered and spent the last few months making my way through Breath of the Wild, to help escape and pass the time during COVID. Now that I've finished the game, I return to your medley and cry a little at the fact that such a comforting time immersed in that amazing fantasy world is over...while the very real ugliness of COVID remains.

My theories as to why:
You don't linger on just one game
You don't linger on just a few songs, bouncing from one to another.
Orchestral variety.
Cosplay??
Visuals telling you the song instead of demanding you know every song to recognize it.
You mix the most iconic stuff with some of the lesser known stuff, giving a great representation of the respective series.

The legendary Zelda medley review
Hands-down my favorite piece of music by these guys, and here’s why.
And whenever I’m in these strong emotional states I’m very vulnerable to letting out a good cry 😭
And I don’t care if people see me cry, because it’s perfectly fine for a grown man to cry 😭
What FreddeGredde has done here is what music should always be, and I think that things like this are things that are lost a lot in today’s music and popular culture.
And honestly, that’s pretty damn impressive
Sincerely,
Parker.
