Considering the Sun's Song still exists in Majora's Mask, it's more than likely the devs intended for it to be the main way to fast forward the days, but quickly realized how it could be used to break the game, and thus programmed in things like the scarecrow, grandma, and the song of double time, which skips time in a strictly controlled manner.

Lots of really cool tricks I hadn't seen before in this run like the debug menu and the shenanigans with the sun's song. Great Work.

When a game has already been busted so far wide open that the only way to break it any more is to find an in-game way to pull up the debug menu!

I've managed to get that happy masksalesman once. I've attempted it a few times but upon getting it once I was so happy that I was like I'll never need to try this again lol I'm not a speedrunner or anything I just love majora's mask and thought to try it lol I paused so many times but it was really satisfying to get it :)

This is fascinating, to me the part where the code was rewritten manually takes away from what I would call speed running. Regardless, the depth of discovery of how broken the game is and the dedication to furthering the knowledge and the talent to pull of these runs is truly amazing
