it was a stupid question, but he's basically saying 'i didn't win bc we weren't watched enough'
maybe the pacers don't get the recognition they deserve but hibbert didn't win d.p.o.y. because there were other people who were better defensively during the regular season.

He is right, no one watched them play, not even their own fans... And that is why the Pacers ranked 26th in home attendance... Just like no one would watch them if they made the Finals... People are only watching this series cuz people are beyond obsessed with the Heat

I agree with him 100% actually. The mainstream sports media focuses on LeBron and Wade.

There's too much truth in what Hibbert said. NO ONE watches them, the Spurs, or anyone else that isn't the Lakers or Heat. You can't even say what's real anymore without someone getting offended. Now the truth that Hibbert said is going to be blown out of proportion because the media gets offended and criticized for not doing something they should've been doing the entire season, and that's pay attention to every team in the NBA instead of the just the stars. Big ups to Hibbert for this.

I went to multiple games, this season, so I do watch them play & plenty of others watch them play.

Yup. PGis slowly making them a team people want to watch in. My family knows Paul George and his parents were neighbors and go to the same church as my Aunt so I'm so happy he's getting shine because he has been doing this since he got to the league it's just now since he plays for a team like Indiana he gets no shine. Hibbert still not close to where he should be. He needs to be an all out enforcer like Shaq was with that size stead of throwin up layups 3 feet from the basket.

you guys who are being mean to him need to shut up. you are bashing him while this is probably the first video that you see him talking. look up roy hibbert on jimmy kimmel or how he donates to places in indiana. look up his interview on mtv. he is ALWAYS a nice guy. what he says is the truth and sometimes people say things and reget it like he does. roy hibbert is one of the nicest players out there.

Hibbert is dead right. I went to the low scoring pacers @ celtics game back in january and at the time thought both teams were terrible. final score was 83-81 Celtics. didnt realize it was actually good defense being played, b/c i had not heard any media coverage on the team until this series. this rant was brought to you by coffee, inducing senseless youtube rants since 2005

That's cause no one can stand watching the Hawks. Half their fans root for the other team. Best MVP chants for the other teams best player in the league by far.
