Lori was a “big fish” in Idaho corrections. She is just one of many in the larger AZ corrections system.
That’s really the only officer that should be transporting her NOT MALE OFFICERS AT ALL!
@@nenej12 I think it’s ok for a male officer to assist in transportation of a female inmate. They however cannot touch her or watch her in compromising situations. As such I believe at least one more female might should have been along so in such situations the female officer had back up if need be. But for mere transporting I see no reason why a male officer cannot drive or ride along. So long as he’s not involved in touching her for Pat downs or guarding inside of a restroom or bedroom. Outside of those rooms however is fine.

I see Prior called you out yesterday in Daybell's case. I had to chuckle. I was thrilled when the prosecution shut Prior down. The prosecution portrayed you as a world-wide reporter, not a "local" that Prior was trying to argue. Points: 0 Prior; 1 East Idaho News. Great job!

she gave info for immunity likely.. thats why the prosecutors had her as a witness but she intentionally watched the trial so they couln't use her testimony. .. She should lose her protection then for intentionally not holding up her end of the deal..and have to stand trial..
I still can’t believe that Melanie hasn’t been charged for conspiracy in attempted murder of her ex. I find it really hard to believe she wasn’t involved.
That's what I would love to know. It's not like Lori and Alex decided to off Brandon. Melanie was fighting alot with Brandon regarding the kids and life. She had insurance on Brandon and Lori knew the whole process to take money and receiving money for dead spouses. There are other key people involved especially Chad .... That need to be accounted for ....
I can't imagine having to be stuck in a vehicle listening to Lori go on and on about who knows what all the way to Arizona.

I only hope Charles Vallow, after his concerns were ignored by the authorities, which led to his murder, finally receives the justice that he deserves, and Brandon as well, and Lori finds out that her actions and involvement have consequences.
Her name is Vallow.
Police are NOT obligated to protect citizens from harm. They did their job.

Congratulations, Nate, you and your Lawyer have really gotten up Mr Prior’s nose keep up the good work as you represent not only your community there, but us who are watching from the other side of the world and even down under. At long last justice will be served for Charles and Brandon who lived to tell his side of this crazy killing spree. It’s a pity, Charles wasn’t listened to, as with his death, it led to the inevitable outcome of so many innocent people killed😢
I just hope after this that the courts rip the Vallow name off her so called title and leave her with dumbbells name!!!

As an Australian who was going through chemotherapy and radiation treatment from September 2020 onwards, with little or no energy through all of this time, i watched the development of this whole business. I dont think any novel could have thought up the twists and turns that have happened throughout the whole sordid mess. The mind boggles at what human beings can do, but then evil knows no boundaries. And a sad thing is that some "way out" religious choices play a part in such evil.

Lori went from having a loving husband, 3 beautiful children, and living in a mansion in Arizona to having a husband who is throwing her to the wolves, one traumatized child who hates her, and living in a prison cell with no money. She threw away everything and everyone who loved her because she enjoyed murdering people who trusted her, ruining her family's lives, manipulating the gullible, and pretending to be a goddess. Lori Cox is an evil, evil, evil monster and she is right where she needs to be. I think she'd murder again if she was ever released from prison. I won't be surprised if she conspires to have someone murdered in prison for an extra pudding cup.
Edit: LVD went from living in a big, beautiful home to a prison cell.* I saw a video of the house and I thought that it was bigger than it is. Thank you for bringing my error to my attention. 😃

Her mother Janice keeps in touch with her and possibly her sister Summer, they probably put money on the books for her. Her son Colby is a very religious man so he might have forgiven her idk. I haven’t heard anything regarding her dad Barry.

She has appealed her other case , so why would she plead guilty now ? She doesn’t even think she did anything wrong . Ready to see Chad’s trial.
I think the appeal is automatic in her case.
It will be looking to see if the Prosecution ever messed up anything, procedure wise.

People have the right "Appeal" even a traffic ticket.
It's concerning the Litigation Proceedings.
It's not just Death Penalty cases where the "Court" was "wrong" because of some legality that the Defense picked up on.

I'm not sure if it's automatic for Life Sentences in Idaho, I just know anyone can and usually they do.

The speedy clock is important but not as critical as some.
Holding her a little longer before her AZ trial or trials is less a deprivation of rights when already sentenced to a life sentence.
And there will be SOME who be pulled into her lies & deception.

In my mind only reason she might consider is to get back to Idaho prison.
Jails always have less “amenities”/programs than prisons. The Maricopa county jail will be much more restrictive on her than the prison in Idaho.
She still needs to be assigned an attorney. Her defense attorney will take months to get up to speed on the evidence. The defense attorneys are completely new to case.
@North_West1 Right! I sure hope she is miserable every second of the day. I just wonder if she'd rather go to trial because of the appeal process for the Idaho case. What do you think?

Started following this story, specifically your coverage, from the beginning while I lived in Concrete, WA. We now live in Gentry, AR and this is the only news I follow, specifically your coverage. Not that im sad she got moved, but I did like the idea of her spending the winter in the Idaho cold. Beast always lived in warm climates and I enjoyed thinking of her shivering in the cold.

Watching from Illinois here. Lori likely enjoyed her road trip with the scenery, new folks to chat with, and restaurant food. She’s probably also happy to be back in a jail instead of a prison. Whew tho. She hasn’t aged well.
As far as Chad goes, he deserves death penalty status. The only reason Lori’s was removed was because the prosecution didn’t get discovery over to the defense by the deadline so death was dropped.
Also, I think Lori will go to trial. She’s never owned up once for anything.
Can I ask Nate now she is in Arizona does that mean the death sentence for her is back on the table if she is found guilty? You’re a good man Nate thank you for all you do. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
What a class act Brandon is! I was really impressed & touched by his witness appearance, his pain was so raw when talking about JJ, really heartbreaking. To think Brandon is the real hero on this tragedy, yet, he has never seek the limelight, never once has he try to be recognized for all his efforts to protect his children and JJ. Colby should try to seek Brandon's advice & guidance, maybe then he can start telling the truth.

Thanks for reporting this, Nate. Oddly, I arrived on the island of Kauai yesterday. It has been raining the whole time, so I've been driving around the resort where she and Chad stayed and where you and your crew caught up with them. The building is a different color now. The beach is littered heavily with broken down plastic pieces, so its not that great of a beach. Also, drove by the LDS Church in Kapa'a'. It has a musty mildew odor scent emanating from the parking lot.
Every place has a musty mildew smell on ALL THE ISLANDS..ITS THE HUMIDITY. I lived on kauai in Kappa for one year..I met my husband on kauai❤❤❤
