Committed to guiding people to liberation, is he not speaking with & guiding himself? Does that not mean a part of him is lost? Does that not mean that he, like us, seeks relationship with other beings? If all is achieved, why then teach? For the mere pleasure of it? Or is it not the pleasure of knowing yourself through another person? And therefore, does he not seek greater joy in investing in other persons so that they may reach his height and play with him among the stars? Thus, is he still unsatisfied until that day arrives? For freewill is the reality of knowing life in the world and, while we needn't be attached to the world, we are in the world for meaning and experience. Yet those we wish to relate with, aka ourselves through other persons, are not in our control. If we could control other persons, the world would cease to exist and the meaning of our search void. Therefore, as Christ took the cross, the great hardship of life is to guide others - through their struggles - and see them fail as if it were us ourselves. And the meaning of life on Earth is to love other persons so much that we would suffer with them till their final judgment.

Very good enquiry, I had the same question. I found the answer in "Talks with Ramana Maharshi". Maharshi said " Your inner Guru manifests as external personal Guru, whenever you are ready to receive his grace and guidance. It's you who seek him out not the otherway around. It's your desire that manifests as a Guru, your ignorance that makes you think there's a Guru outside of you. When that ignorance is removed you will find there's never a separate Guru, you have always been one with the Guru because nothing exists but the Self alone"

@@nenuRK Yeah, ok. And we chose to be in this 'ignorant' experience, yes? Or/&, God - within us - chose it. You might say we start in glory and are seeded here in order to go through the trials that bring us back to the beginning with a higher ability to see, create and live; to relate with each other - with our shared divinity, i.e. Heaven on Earth.
