I appreciate the way you are always updating the store into a refine establishment. So many antique stores are so over packed, unorganized, it’s hard to find the gems.
I think my favorite part of the video was the ever positive Alex not allowing Josh to diminish the greatness of the anvil. No matter what. Not even entertaining the thought 🙌🏻
It was wise to call Melissa in to help, rather than trying it to do it your self and braking yourself and valuable inventory. Great to see the proposed building council notification. Great job in getting the council off its backside and to do what is in the best interests of the community.
I always love Josh and Jakota building stuff. The shelf looks great and Josh is going to love using that anvil for his metal art projects. Win Win. Melissa is ahmazing. Thanks Alex for another fun video
Love that you guys put so much love and energy into your store and keep it a fresh look for your customers. Great marketing presentation. Always glad to see Melissa and Josh.
The shelves look great! It’s great to see the two of you working together on a project because the end result is always amazing.....I concur with the others DON’T BURN THE PRESSURE TREATED WOOD!
@@dcan911 As I understand from previous videos Alex pays all his friends who come and do work for him. He mentioned it in the Potter house videos as other people got the impression they might do it for free.
@@dcan911 I have seen videos of Alex going out of his way to be fair to others. When the pottery was sold from the Potter's House, he gave half of the proceeds to the family. Lol Melissa you are a champ for being so supportive and I know that feeling. I'm sometimes a glorified sawhorse for helping with projects. But I'm helping! ♥️ from Kentucky
The shelf looks really good.....like its been there all this time!!!! Your products are the bomb. I really love your family too. Melissa is such a warrior by your side!!! See you next time!!!
Frank Winkhorst , don't burn where you can breath that copper injected wood it is still toxic, or maybe toxic when inhaled. Or OSB wood, the kind where it looks like wood chips glued together. Assume that that is toxic when inhaled while burning. Also that it may explode into flame and burn way hotter than ordinary wood. Seriously people that build don't recycle it into there homes. Not for bonfires either.
Especially the earlier stuff. I worked counter sales at a lumber yard in the early 80s and had to take classes on pressure treated wood. The two things you didn't do: breath the sawdust while cutting and burn it. Back then, it was treated with Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) - thus the green color. It's changed considerably since then, but there's still a lot of the older treated lumber in use...
Thank you for making these videos. Progress feels good, even when you’re just watching someone else make progress! Curiosity Inc is an oasis of calm and positivity in my day.
I just have to tell you that your videos are such a bright spot in my day. I like stores that have things displayed from the floor to the ceiling, I like shopping for antiques, I admire families. Thanks for the spot of norm in life's tornado. Edited for bad spelling.
I had no idea until I started watching your videos that a good shop owner like you will continually move his product around to improve sales. Maybe that's why Costco does it too.
Greetings everyone from Down Under. The shelves look fabulous, like they have been there forever. Great job, Josh. Nothing beats lots of storage, especially handmade. I assume the weather is cooling down, judging by Melissa’s top which is super-cute. Where have the months gone - we are now in September!!! Until next time, stay safe and well. 💕🇦🇺
Josh did a great job on the shelves! I like the barter method you guys use. Your store is definitely a destination stop - I can’t imagine browsing without buying something!
Josh did an awesome job...as always. Great trade 👍 Love the mugs and socks...fun gifts for any occasion. Store looks great Alex..ur hard work, creative ideas and fun atmosphere pays off. ❤
I like your videos so much! I love all of the local people that come in to see you, help you with your store, etc. I feel like they are my neighbors, too. Many blessings to all of you.
Major refurb. Everythings always better with Josh. I think the new configuration looks smashing. I admire the way you seem to have a through-put of things for sale Alex, that way returning customers are still interested.
Love your channel. I’m old enough to remember everything. LOL about 20 years ago I painted a picture of an old general store in Newfoundland. The joke was that I stocked the shelves and that’s exactly what I did. It took a year for me to find out what I was going to put on it. If I can right now I will post a picture of that painting
The glass cases are awesome and they look great. I do agree that enclosed cases are a bit of a pain and helps me second guess purchasing the product or not in life. I can't wait to see the updated look at the front. The new shelves are fantastic and Josh did a perfect job as always.
Wow, I was a children's party magician, too, waaay back when I was 12. I got super into magic, and my large, supportive family kept hooking me up with props and tricks. I had a cape, and a collapsible top hat (the dream, right?)! I did about 30-40 parties over the course of 2 summer, including one in a Pizza Hut, and made some good money.
Every moment IS magic when Josh is involved! The project seemed like it was going to take forever and it's great to all of a sudden it's done, in like 20 minutes, lol. Another great and fun vlog. Thank you!

If I ever get to Canada, I'm going to your shop, hands down. Hello Melissa :-) Thank you so much for the fun Alex. Enjoy the rest of your day ♥♥♥
The last few seconds with Josh "falling" was hilarious !
I thought Josh took the elevator to the basement.
Yes! It was a perfect ending! Lol

LOL. Josh's dropping to the floor with the anvil was perfect. Great slapstick comedy. 😄
You make me smile and forget the woes of life for a few minutes. Thank you.
