One of the oldest and BEST zoos in the country. Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo!
'This is the zoo's first opening weekend in months.
There is a limited amount of people who can visit during its re-opening.
There are 1,600 people in the zoo at the time of this visit.
Reservations are currently required before you visit, so please make a note of that.
Most of the buildings are closed with only a few that remained open.
The weather is beautiful with filtered sun in the forecast on this 52-degree day.
Let's see what animals are outside in their exhibit, and do some people watching
as I walk through the zoo.

Great video Thank you. I'm glad that for you Chicagoans the lock down has been eased in many ways. In Holland, where I live, the lock down is severe. Shops, zoos, are closed.

Love your videos of my old home town. I want to request that some day could you please walk around the neighborhood where the famous Twin Anchors restaurant is? That was my old neighborhood when I was a young boy. I use to live right around the corner across the street from the La Salle Language Academy at 1739 N. Orleans St. many years ago. If you could do a walk around that area that would be so awesome. Would also love to see you do a drive by on Lincoln at Pat's Pizza. They had the best pizza in all of Chicago imo.

I went by there, but they had the Primate House closed the day I went. They weren't outside either. I'll catch them next time! :)

Things are looking really good in Chicago. Alot places are opening up. Getting the Air & Water Show this year, Taste of Chicago, fans allowed back at games, Auto Show, Lincoln Park Zoo etc,..

Fun fact: This zoo is free but the parking isn't
There is free parking a block away for those on a tight budget. May have drive up and down the block few times to find a spot. I hope the they don't meter those to help balance the city budget like the're currently doing to Montrose Harbor.
