That's unfortunate because that was the best part of the speech. Mugabe revealed some of the things that went on behind the scenes, such as Sam Nujoma asking for high grade weapons SWAPO had acquired to be passed through Botswana into Namibia & Masire granting permission although he knew how weak Botswana was militarily weak compared to the apartheid army. He also revealed how from their days as Frontline leaders Masire grew to be his closest friend personally in SADC, how their families got to visit each other & their wives became friends...
