There is a vedic hymne. Sahanaa vavatu sahanau bhunakthu. Sahaveeryam karavavahai. Thejaswee navadhee Thamasthu maa vidhvi shavahai Om shanthi shanthi shanthi Imagine recite the above hymne in this raga ! I am still basking in the tremondous vibration. My Thousand salutations to " Naada Brahma " . Ravikiran n Guruprasad ! You will really go places ! 💐🙌👌👍
Absolutely delightful!! I suppose this series will, over a period of time, cover all of the Divine Dikshitar's krithis that don't fall under the ambit of the " kshetra darshanam" series!!
Marvelous rendition of yet another Dikshitar Kirti in a rare raga. Thank you! It would be great if you could also include the lyrics in the description in future releases.
Thank you. It may be a good exercise to list down the phrases that come in this rAga based on your understanding of the kriti - that is a better a way, in our opinion, to understand the rAga. The ArOhaNa/avarOhaNa concept is, unfortunately, very limiting - in our opinion.
Excellent. But one aspect I fail to understand in carnatic song it is the sahitya which takes precedence over the raag . For example no raag is mentioned but the first 2 words of the bandish ( kriti ) is mentioned
@@guruguha thanks for the clarification. However u should have added the word raag for the understanding of all More so when the raag is not a common one or rendered widely
Beautifully rendered, clear diction and soothing for the ears!!!
Just heard. A pure beautiful rendering with perfect pronunciation and a deep connect to its meaning. The music is still ringing in my mind.
Soul stirring! What a divine composition that touches one deep within. So well rendered Guruprasad. Please keep them coming.

The name of the rAga is nAmadEsi as mentioned in the title as well as in the overlay at the time of the song - please check carefully
