- Ranjani and Gayatri's students present another composition in a group presentation, as a VIjayadasami gift to their Gurus- the lilting Kanna Vaa in Ragamalika ( Kapi, Sama, Vasantha, Neelambari and Suratti), a composition written by Ambujam Krishna and tuned by Madurai Sri T.N.Seshagopalan.

This was yet another surprise gift from our dear students, and we are so happy to savour and share this with our rasikas, after the tremendous love that was showered on Mathe Malayadhwaraja presentation. Sung with love and devotion, this video fills us with immense joy, and we feel truly blessed to be part of this circle of love and music that is the RaGa family! Seek all of your blessings for us and our dearest students! This was originally planned as a Vijayadasami offering but got delayed , as our students told us, but for celebrating music, bonding and love, there is no right or wrong time - Diname Sudinamu!

You should keep listening to Ranjani Gayatri amma concerts, Carnatic vocals, & other Sanskrit slokas as well. Who knows your baby may become a great singer. Sanskrit has great powers. I am dying with an aspiration of making my 2.6 yrs old baby girl a Carnatic singer for the future. Good luck!!

Beautiful rendition by the students. This is a compostion of smt Ambujam krishna wonderfully tuned by SangithaKalanidhi Madurai T N Seshagopalan sir. I have listened to his his remarkable renditions many times in 80s and 90s , while presenting a song of a composer who is not a Vaggeyakkara , the name of the tunesmith should also be mentioned, as the tune is the soul of any song.
Great. I have been listening to mathe malayadwaja by your students & feel blissful. The duration of multiples singing together with synchronization adds additional flavor. Thanks to everybody involved. 🙏
