Jayden got barely any media coverage during the whole draft process as the Heisman trophy winner . Fields got cooked in the media & treated badly . Caleb is a good QB but relax on the Generational stuff . He had a hard time reading the field in college also .

His Heisman season he was 70% in structure. They had a run game and a solid o-line. Last year he had a terrible o-line and had to play out of structure because of that. Can’t just watch the highlights, you gotta actually watch the games.

I from the bottom of my heart hate this conversation off of 3 weeks. Acho, you too smart to act like you can’t understand the differences between the 2 QBs. Daniels is playin WELL especially on Monday. COACHING & comfort is KEY. Caleb has made some mistakes most definitely but he ain’t lookin horrible. His coaching and struggling O-Line is a nice sized part of his issues.
Washington had the worst line last year somehow the coaching schemes and running game is much improved. Brian Robinson Jr is getting those touches he didn't get last year. Kliff Kingsbury is dialing up a good playbook.

Who didn’t think Daniels was better than Williams?
Biggest takeaway here and that isn't getting near enough praise is just how big of an improvement Washington made to their offensive line in 1 offseason. Last year they were atrocious, like record-setting level atrocious and if that o-line had opened this season we would be talking about how big a bust Jayden Daniels was looking like possible.. though with his running he may survive but the pressure stats still remain and they tell a story of a vastly improved Washington line.
This and Pat McAfee show my two favorite sports shows right now.
People are giving caleb every excuse in the book jesus, Chicago has better weapons and a way better defense the only things Washington has is better RBs and slightly better oline, and the reason the oline looks good is cause of Daniels quick reads and mobility that's why he's not getting sacked as much as caleb who sits in the pocket way to long and tries to do too much which is leading to sacks and picks. Right now Jayden is just playing better not saying caleb won't eventually figure it out but as of right now jayden is by far and away the best rookie QB

Coaching, it’s literally that simple. The others have creditable offensive coaching.
Bears OC just needs to simplify the offense for Caleb, ease him in slowly (Pause)... but also Bears have no running game at all, hence why Caleb is throwing 40times a game and offense looks anemic... I think current Bears OC was Seahawks OC before, so that running game is needed in this Bears offense
JD5 deals with what all rookies deal with , ands that college offense has gotten him into scoring position over 19 straight times, and he has not looked bad! He carries a high completion percentage in every game, why he can’t just be special 🤷🏾♂️…!why he can be a 1 of 1, I see his dedication to his craft, I see his work approach, he’s doing everything right for HIS success, period… he can do everything Caleb could b but he has more physical advantages then Caleb… Washington got a dawg fr!
People don't understand that the QB position and schemes in College is totally different to the NFL. You can be the best College QB ever.. and be mediocre in the NFL, and be average in College (Tom Brady, Brock Purdy) and light it up in the NFL. Yeah some great College QBs are great in the Pros, but I think people really need to focus on things like the systems they come from. Caleb WIlliams got to play backyard football most of the time in College. You can't do that in the NFL.

I know it’s still early, but all the doubts and hesitation people had about Caleb Williams are being proven right so far. They were hyping up that kid way too much, and now he’s suffering the consequences, which is probably what people were sensing would happen. So this is just following the script, basically.
Think about this. The “collegiate”’offense that is so simple is cooking NFL defenses. What does that say about the NFL defenses then?
I don't know why they don't talk about how Caleb doesn't have a proper OC and an O-line, both Nix / Daniels has Payton / Kliff who are offensive guru (say whatever you want about Sean Payton). Plus, O-line/OC / RB are rookie Qb best friends, not flashy WRs because you see what Joe Burrow was in the SB, Chase beats Ramsey but Donalds got the sack and that's all they wrote ... You want either offensive HC or a very good OC that can develop the rookie QB. Arthur Smiths make Justin Fields look like the best QB in his draft class and Pitsburgh O-line/RB is legit.

If you take this conversation as whole, cut out all the unnecessary fluff from Acho and Shady, you can distill two key points that were made that explain a lot.
According to the “QB” on the show Jayden Daniels is running a college offense and is succeeding because it’s similar to what he Ran, and shady said the Reid went back to Texas tech and found the best stuff that Mahomes ran and mixed it with his west coast offense… THEN IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE OC OF THE COMMANDERS IS SMARTER THAN ALL OF THE CHICAGO STAFF.
Clearly running things that make your rookie comfortable is beneficial and builds confidence. The problem is Caleb was best off script when a play broke down and that doesn’t work in the NFL without first being good in script.
Stop making excuses for Williams and just say it. He was prompt up by off script gameplay against lesser talent and the media hyped him to the number one pick when he should have fallen to a team who could develop him over a season or two.
We don’t need a whole segment of “Mr two five, Mr leading rusher” back patting and circle jerking to day this

they lied about how good caleb williams was as evidence most the other qb's (baker mayfield, jalen hurts and kyler murray) that played for his college coach lincoln riley had the team ranked in the top 4 and in the playoffs competing for a national championship. caleb williams on the other hand in 2023 had the team ranked 116, so wasn't deserving of a first overall pick, along with he not even athletic.
9:30 Chase Daniel is giving Caleb the excuse of having to orchestrate a complex offense as a rookie, but there's no offense more complex than Kyle Shanahan's, and Brock Purdy orchestrated that offense as a rookie like a Maestro. So what's Caleb's excuse?
