Fun fact: Amber Riley played Effie in "Dreamgirls" on the West End (for which she won an Oliver Award, the British equivalent of the Tony) & Miss. Jennifer Holliday wrote after she saw her performance that Amber is the only actress she's seen do the role make it her own, without taking anything from the original or try to mimic what she did. High praise indeed!❤

One of my favourite things about early Glee was that, unless a character was meant to have a particular emotional response, the joy on all the cast faces could be seen in reaction to most performances. They all seemed to just show love and support for what their cast mates could do, even if there was meant to be general rivalry between some characters.

Watching this and THEN her performance at the Olivier Awards? *mind blown* Amber Riley's vocal talent knows no bounds. She's amazing.
Please react to "How Will I Know" from the season 3, "Dance With Somebody" episode. Mercedes, Santana, Rachel and Kurt harmonize on it and they sound like literal angels together. Everyone sleeps on this performance and it deserves so much recognition.
Also they perform it a capella! It's just so good!

I saw Amber as Effie in Dreamgirls In London and she was phenomenal. There’s also a version of her singing it at the Albert Hall for the Oliver awards and I would definitely recommend checking it out

there's a reason Chris, Kevin, Jenna and Heather are superfans of Amber... they've seen her perform live in front of them so many times! and to be fair they'Re all superfans of each other, it's super cute how they all hype each other up
i actually got to see her sing this live on the west end in 2017 when she played effie in dreamgirls!! she was absolutely amazing, 10 times better than the version she did on glee if you can believe it

I remember watching this on HULU in my college library's computer lab and trying to force myself to stop crying in the middle of a computer lab with a bunch of people around me. I cry every time I watch this. She is in a different league.

Amber Riley singing this at the Olivier Awards may be the greatest cover of any song you’ve ever heard. Other good reactions are Lea/Rachel Berry - My Man or Don’t Rain On My Parade. Other characters- Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself) and Fly/I Believe I Can Fly

One of my favorite things about Amber is that when she did her covers on "Glee", she always tried to make every single one of them her own. She never tried to sound like this person or that person, but she just sang it the way she wanted to.

It's funny that for those that sing, they aren't thinking technicalities; it's just doing what comes naturally. I never thought about that for the five decades I sang, it was just what I did. It obviously was right, but I never focused on technique, I focused on what worked for me.

Amber’s talent wasn’t used enough. She’s a powerhouse. So is Lea but their styles are very different. Lea is far more Broadway. Amber is more gospel and raw and soul.

OMG. i love these glee reactions so much. it may seem a little out of left field but i think you should react to something sung by Emma Pillsbury (played by Jayma Mays) in Glee. She has a really unique voice and she has some great performances like “Getting Married Today” or “Touch-a Touch-a Touch me”. I think she would be enjoyable to react to!!

I'm new here, Andrey, and love your reactions. My sugestion in the middle of so many others, is "Homeward Bound/Home", a song with characters with the most different style of voices ever, but even so, brought a such harmony thay you stay 🤯🤯🤩🤩🤩😍😍🤤🤤🤤. Without Lea and Chris and Darren that always got their voices higher than the others in the group songs, this mashup did a damn good job

Cough Syrup is my favorite song from Glee. Hands down better than the original. The problem is the video is hard to watch due to what happens on the show while Blaine is singing it. I don't know quite how to put a warning in a video recommendation
