This is the 2nd best performance of this song-only second to Jennifer Holliday-that I have ever heard. She really belts out that final sustained note without a break that so many other singers do. Absolutely amazing. I hear she is performing as Effie White in Dreamgirls on Broadway, a role she more than deserves.

Man Rachel looked constipated when finally recognizing Mercedes' talent. Everyone else is cheering and vibing and Rachel can't go beyond her ego.
