Here's the thing, you cannot go around comparing yourself to everyone around the same age as you. There is no one else like you your timing is as unique as you are. I used to be this way and I never measured up. I also was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in highschool and autism only 2 years ago right before my 30th birthday. Turned out it just took me a little longer to find my path and my place. I just graduated this summer as a special education teacher and love my job. As someone in the other side, you will find yours in your time ❤
For me, it feels like I saw Jess hit her button for contestants way more often than any of the other coaches. I only see the clips here on this YT channel, so I don't get the opportunity to see the coaches comments, nor do I get to see who the contestant chooses. It does surprise me a little bit though, that she is the final coach to complete her team. {Which was a big bonus for Jess in this case......not having to compete with the other coaches, in order to get this young woman on her team.}
In case this account is actually you.. that was just incredible Nenah. Please keep making music, i must have watched and listened to this a dozen times over a few weeks and would easily put a CD of covers like that on every Sunday morning. Keep going.
Can't believe she was kicked off in the second episode? Maybe some of the couches need to be kicked off for not giving her a second chance or a song that would make her shine again unbelievable??? I mean really, I don't like the way this TV show has turned out. They tell these people that they are going to be stars but at the end of the show you basically never hear from them again??? I mean am I the only one there has been some fantastic singers over the years but who do you know has become anything after the voice?

Those judges had filled their quotas and could not select any more contestants. Their select/ turn-around buttons were disabled. Notice how they were just looking at the one judge who had selection space over. They only turned around once she hit her selection button as not to influence the only judge that still had open space to select a contestant.
How could the coaches allowed to see the singer without pressing the button? It is not cool at all and defy the whole concept of the show...based on the voice only!
Australia has been speaking up for music across their world. And this is a voice with something to deliver.
