I feel like this is one of those songs that you listen to once and you think it's just ok but it gets stuck in your head for a week and pretty soon it starts to grow on you until you are completely obsessed with it.
That is exactly how I felt about this song at first. Bastille has been a favorite band of mine since... well, since they came out with their first E.P. This song is different, yes, but it is my favorite now. So good!
i’m here again listening this song and remembering of my mom. she passed away when i was 13 and this song was the only one i listened in repeat when all this happened, it really helped me so i can’t say how much this song means to me. i miss you mom and i love you forever.
I also saw it midway through the video, though at the end it was coupled with the colour/lense used f the Bad Blood album cover (2 or 3 seconds before the road reappears)
those are actually small clips/video footages from "lost highway", a David Lynch movie- one of Dan's favourites. It's a common theme across their album art and even some of the band's photos
Please everyone, READ: I'm not english, I didn't know how to say it, it's just that looking around the other comments I thought it was so!! Stop telling that, you make me feel stupid XD
Bad_News Lyrics Bad news like a sucker punch, what do you say? Air knocked out of my lungs want you to stay When you hear something difficult don't back away Some people say nothing, good ones engage Don't turn your back on me Don't bury your head deep Just cause you don't know what to say Don't turn your back on me Don't bury your head deep Just cause you don't know what to say It's true That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting Bad news Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming Bad news like a sucker punch moving your way People fill the streets like nothing has changed Clapped hands if you're lonely don't leave the same Planes fly overhead like any old day Don't turn your back on me Don't bury your head deep Just cause you don't know what to say Don't turn your back on me Don't bury your head deep Just cause you don't know what to say It's true That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting Bad news Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming Maybe I just want some words of destruction I feel like I'm being consumed Maybe I'm expecting the perfect reaction It's pulled me back It's true That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting Bad news Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming It's true That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting Bad news Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming can anyone read the message between the lyrics?
Sometimes people hide away when they get bad news... the world around you seems to just keep moving on when everything seems horrible. I feel this song
i think its really awesome how the band strives to continue putting new material out even when they're touring. you really don't see that with many artists. love this group, so talented.
Also congrats to the editors, the video is great! It must have taken a lot of work to put all these scenes together and make them fit properly. Cheers to them!
Wasn't sure of the song when I first heard and felt a bit sad as I love Bastille. But just listened to it again and it's grown on me, I think the more you listen to the song the more you'll like it especially if your a Bastille fan.
I LOVE THIS SONG. It just proves that Bastille can do pretty much any kind of music and still be FABULOUS! the video gives me a headache, but I will get over it b/c this band is my LIFE!
I love many many bands, but this particular one is just amazing, they're not just thought provoking, but they make you feel many emotions and are just very genuine. I love them so much and I hope they last awhile.
The song is great, one of my favouites by them, had it stuck in my head for days, but this video dosen't seem to do this song justice. I could think of a better video for this song. Bastille get away with their funny music videos for me because a few of them tie in to become a story, this one seems a bit dusconnect from that story and the only way I can see this standing as a good video is if it's just Dan thinking through his memories... Idk, this one is a bit strange. Stranger than all the other videos they have done. I think I will just be using the video they posted on their other channel to listen to this one until I buy it. I really do love this song though.
I don't think the video is meant to be connected :) I read that it was just a collection of clips from Dan and the band's favourite movies and tv shows
Eva Ha well crap. Well, at least they're still making alternative music, not crap about gas pedals or wrecking balls or whatever's on the radio these days
If you like the music, keep listening to the music. Why should it depend on the popularity of the group or how mainstream it is? If they produce shitty radio pop so that they can get more airplay is an understandable reason not to like them anymore, but they haven't really drastically changed their style from when they weren't popular, so there shouldn't be a change as to how you feel about them. It shouldn't depend on if they had 100 views or a million views.
I love alternative music and i wish more peaple would listen to it and i love how its becoming popular becuse this is REAL RELATABLE MUSIC and not an annoying party song And as long as the music is real it doesn't matter how many people listion in fact i think i more listen he world would be a better place
This song and video makes me so comfortable, my attention is just flowing and not forced to concentrate on a certain thing for like two hours. I love it
I don't know about everybody else but I quite like the electronic sound of this song. There were a couple songs on All This Bad Blood that were going in this direction which I liked. I hope they continue doing this type of stuff!
Ok so the live version is not all badass like this.. It’s more kinda like oblivion with a very soft melody so.. yeah idk if this is what you ere expecting but yeah! Still cool live tho
If I see one more comment saying "Bastille is the man."...NO, BASTILLE IS ACTUALLY FOUR FUCKING MEN STOP CREDITING DAN WITH EVERYTHING WHAT ABOUT CHRIS, WILL AND KYLE? I LOVE ALL FOUR OF THEM SO MUCH AND IT UPSETS ME SEEING EVERYONE FORGET ABOUT THOSE THREE.
I've been saying this to people for so long. Because nobody APPRECIATES Will, Woody and Kyle and they work just as hard. Personally, I think Will is least appreciated because sometimes you can't hear the bass, but if you took it out everything sounds wrong. Kyle and Woody both do backing, Will too, but people focus on Dan because he's a horrible dancer and moves around on stage (its kinda funny to watch). I've gone through and stripped live versions of Pompeii, Bad Blood and The Silence of lead vocals and listen to it with just the backing. Of course, there wouldn't be Bastille without Dan, but there wouldn't be Bastille without the other guys.
Kain Ashten it can still be about that like pompeii portrayed both meaning and had dan in it. idk i just like to see the ones like bad blood and flaws music videos
Personally I like how they keep it based around the music and create really interesting cinematic videos compared to a lot of other artists who mainly just show their face
This is literally the perfect intro to the Wild World era, still containing the Bad Blood elements and moving its angle/sound to Other People's Heartache Pt 3
Anyone saying this song is too electronic to be bastille is simple. This is what bastille always have been... Go back and look at their mix tapes 'Other people's heartache pt1 and pt2.' You'll see wahh I mean pretty quickly...
At first I wasn't crazy about this song when it was first released because I was expecting epicness. Although, the more I listen to this song the better it gets. Gets stuck in my head! :)
When i heard the soundcloud audio for bad_news i thought it was incredible but the music video just makes it so insanely good. Just wow. I am BEYOND excited for the Oblivion EP
I found a very casual and perfect video, nothing is directed to disseminate or something, Bastille is perfect and I think this next album as more and more recognition for them, and more respect, Bastille has not changed anything, perfect , stormer here
I just really like this song. I'm not sure why people are saying it's so different. I think it's a little different, but I think it's a really nice thing, and I don't think it deviates from them as a whole. Like if I heard this I would classify it as a style that could fit the Bastille standards, so I'm a bit confused why people say it's not up to par. I think it's great, and I can't wait to hear more new stuff from them. They're in my top 3 bands, and this song didn't change that at all, if anything it made me love them even more. I think, people have gotten so used to hearing their "original" less electronic-ish type stuff, and they've set their opinion solely on that, instead of having a more open mindset with the newer stuff that's been floating around by them. Just my opinion tho
OMG hearing all their new stuff makes me want to see them live even more, they just never disappoint! I love how they challenge themselves to create new and different music every single time, but still succeed to make almost all their fans and other people like it!
I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out too. I think when bad news happens, we often fall back on other parts and memories of our lives to comfort ourselves. Most of the clips were tv productions and I think that represents TV and the media. Entertainment is a big part of our lives. When something else that is personal and a large part of our lives is affected, it feels like the rest of your life is destroyed, but really, it's not. "Planes fly over like any old day," and "people though the streets like nothing has changed," sound like the person is realizing that their "bad news" isn't affecting everyone else, just themselves. The TV clips represent that the productions and other peoples lives will keep going, unaffected by your issues. "Don't turn your back on me," maybe he means, these clips aren't comforting him in the way he needs it to. "Maybe I just need some words of distraction," these lyrics make me think he is referring to the tv to distract him from his problem. And he's waiting for something to "pull me back" to his issue. But I have no idea what he means by, "just cause you don't know what to say." It sounds like he's talking to someone in specific. I don't really know, that's all a guess. Someone please tell me if they think they know.
I can actually understand this video without watching the whole video.. I always have these feelings. When I feel sad. I always think I the other bad things that happened to me. I think when I got hit by a car. When my ring finger got cut off, when I got poisoned by some acid flowing out of a creature I saw in the beach (the closest guess I had was a jellyfish) and all the bloody and bad moments I had in my life. That's what my guess the meaning of this video is..
For all who are saying this is 'too electronic', I like it. It's different, but still the amazing quality that bastille are very consistent with. It's still got the bastille vibe and signature style so shh...
When I first heard this song, I was like, "oh no! A Bastille song I don't like." But, it's one of those you need to listen to a few times, and since I've done that, it's safe to say. I adore this song. Electronicyness and all.
I thought it was gonna be a video that their tour is cancelled. But nope! Man, that was so different, but still so original, and all-around badass. I can't wait to go see them! I love Bastille!!!
Absolutely amazing song. Bastille's All This Bad Blood is the only album I have enjoyed every song off of and this new song is no different. I love Bastille's unique sound and their ability to be so raw in their artistry. A truly talented group of individuals making haunting and touching music.
OTHER PEOPLE'S HEARTACHE PT.III : ▶TRACKLISTING ◀ 1. Fall Into Your Arms (Bastille vs The Gemma Sharples Quartet) 2. Bite Down (Bastille vs HAIM) 3. bad_news (Bastille vs MNEK) 4. The Driver 5. Axe To Grind (Bastille vs Tyde vs. Rationale) 6. Torn Apart (Bastille vs Grades vs. Lizzo) 7. Weapon (Bastille vs Angel Haze vs. F-U-G-Z vs Braque) 8. Remains (Bastille vs Rag N Bone Man vs Skunk Anansie)
Well, I fucking love it. It's pretty Bastille to me cos the no-guitar rule is still there. Dan mentioned smth abt that in an interview I read somewhere before that they wanted no/less guitar in their album(?) and this song is electronic... Like Of The Night, isn't it? Try not to hate, guys. I think it's pressurizing enough for a brand-new artist to release new songs out there. They need to know they're fans are still there. Plus, the Bastille guys might read ur comments cos this is their page.
this fucking song will always have a special place in my heart, just me listening to it rn makes my eyes water… bastille has been with me for a decade now and they are the reason im pursing my dreams and alive right now
+Reahna Sheets I'm sure that's why everyone loves Bastille, they aren't like any other pop band where each song sounds similar. This is my favourite Bastille song
I love it!!! ♥ "It's true That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting Bad news Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming"
I LOVE THIS. The video captures Dan's film nerd side and also incorporates the quasi-'80s sound from a lot of their stuff from Other People's Heartache. Well done, boys! :)
Bastille is my favorite band of all times, but I think I'm mature enough to tell I don't like bad news… I was excited when it was released and I freaked out, yeah, I was singing the damn song for a whole week, but now it's hard to listen to it… I hope their new album is not following this line.
Dan has said that their new album is supposed to be more electronic, guitar heavy, and R&B influenced! But I also heard their new song Blame which hasn't come out yet at their show last night and it was literally AMAZING!!!
We now know that this song is part of their new mixtape OPH p.III :) normally, bastille experiments a lot with these albums so it's okay if you're not very comfortable with the style, because their normal albums will remain more or less true to the original Bastille sound
Lucero Beas It is new in the sense that they haven't released an official recorded version yet! All of the ones that are around are live versions I believe...I may be wrong but that is just my experience!
So good!
Jessie Beaver I feel like this about all Bastille's songs. They are simply addictive.
Exactly! At first, I was like "Meh"...and then I couldn't stop listening to it!
that's how i feel about all Bastille songs
This one song in particular is my first experience with that feeling.
That is very correct.
i’m here again listening this song and remembering of my mom. she passed away when i was 13 and this song was the only one i listened in repeat when all this happened, it really helped me so i can’t say how much this song means to me. i miss you mom and i love you forever.
I love the fact that in the end when you see Dan walking, you can faintly see a road I think that symbolises the album bar blood its amazing
I see it!
I also saw it midway through the video, though at the end it was coupled with the colour/lense used f the Bad Blood album cover (2 or 3 seconds before the road reappears)
bad*
those are actually small clips/video footages from "lost highway", a David Lynch movie- one of Dan's favourites. It's a common theme across their album art and even some of the band's photos
oh cool! i just found that it reminded me of the bad blood cover alot, and thats probably why! haha thanks
This is one of my favorites by them. It's so underrated. I love it
This is the BASTILLE with his unique style that I've been missing ; )
Oh_Holy_Bastille I know!!! sorry I thought that in english you say it like that..
True dat!!
It isn't 1 men, BUT 4!
THEY ARE 4!
Please everyone, READ: I'm not english, I didn't know how to say it, it's just that looking around the other comments I thought it was so!! Stop telling that, you make me feel stupid XD
Bad_News Lyrics
Bad news like a sucker punch, what do you say?
Air knocked out of my lungs want you to stay
When you hear something difficult don't back away
Some people say nothing, good ones engage
Don't turn your back on me
Don't bury your head deep
Just cause you don't know what to say
Don't turn your back on me
Don't bury your head deep
Just cause you don't know what to say
It's true
That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting
Bad news
Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming
Bad news like a sucker punch moving your way
People fill the streets like nothing has changed
Clapped hands if you're lonely don't leave the same
Planes fly overhead like any old day
Don't turn your back on me
Don't bury your head deep
Just cause you don't know what to say
Don't turn your back on me
Don't bury your head deep
Just cause you don't know what to say
It's true
That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting
Bad news
Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming
Maybe I just want some words of destruction
I feel like I'm being consumed
Maybe I'm expecting the perfect reaction
It's pulled me back
It's true
That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting
Bad news
Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming
It's true
That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting
Bad news
Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming
can anyone read the message between the lyrics?
isnt that words of distraction?
Sometimes people hide away when they get bad news... the world around you seems to just keep moving on when everything seems horrible. I feel this song

Is it weird that I find the way Dan's front tooth hooks downwards really awesome? (and very attractive)
No its not weird at all! I find it attractive as well haha ☺
My same front tooth is like that aswell ^-^ It's a privilege to have something in common with Dan now XD haha x
Maybe he got kicked in the teeth...??
kumikorkki haha possibly.
kumikorkki
AHHHHHHH I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE YOU'RE AWESOME XD haha
I love this song so much. Here we go again, more Bastille feels.
+Zadie Hurrell Same
SAM WINCHESTER
Zay
here you are again
..
every bastile video aibdbdnanana
I love that song and the fact that Bastille aren't limited to one and only music style, they just do what they want!
Wasn't sure of the song when I first heard and felt a bit sad as I love Bastille. But just listened to it again and it's grown on me, I think the more you listen to the song the more you'll like it especially if your a Bastille fan.
Yep xP
That's True (y) More you listen more it makes sense :)
This is a simple music video, we all got the message, it is very good actually and Dan's voice is always chilling and fascinating me ♥
When is his voice not fascinating, amirite or amirite?
Why do you think he said "always"?
1st listen: wtf is this shit
3rd listen: its actually not that bad
7th listen: OMG I LOVE IT
Omg same
I was so weirded out at first and then the next thing I know I have it on repeat
+KersZZ instant liked it ;)
+Gueldi 8 Same
+KersZZ The Video is still very creepy

The words in this song hits my heart like a sword.
I LOVE THIS SONG. It just proves that Bastille can do pretty much any kind of music and still be FABULOUS! the video gives me a headache, but I will get over it b/c this band is my LIFE!
me to!!!!
thanks for ur suggest
I love many many bands, but this particular one is just amazing, they're not just thought provoking, but they make you feel many emotions and are just very genuine. I love them so much and I hope they last awhile.
I just love how Bastille do their music videos, they make them interesting to watch! (Plus the music is pretty awesome too :)
bad_news, the prequel to Good Grief
*Slow claps* ok well done
Lol. Or good riddins
OH MY GOD
THERE ARE NO WORDS NEEDED.
THIS SONG AND THE VIDEO...
IT'S BREATHTAKING. Bastille.. congrats! Can't stop listening to that masterpiece.
I think bastille is underrated and diserves a bigger audience
I AM IN LOVE! Bastille is such an amazing band.
I love the artistry and creepiness in this video. I cant explain it bit I love it
Saw them live last night and they were so, so amazing. Really wished they sang this though!
The song is great, one of my favouites by them, had it stuck in my head for days, but this video dosen't seem to do this song justice. I could think of a better video for this song. I really do love this song though.
Heh, just noticing all my spelling mistakes... I posted this comment on my phone which is... Not the best when it comes to keyboard quality...
I don't think the video is meant to be connected :) I read that it was just a collection of clips from Dan and the band's favourite movies and tv shows
It's funny that you think that way, because I really love this video. It's an awesome “video collage” that I really enjoy.
But I understand it, though
I'm just a really strange person. ;)
I love all their songs and this one is actually pretty good. I just hope they never go mainstream
Eva Ha well crap. Well, at least they're still making alternative music, not crap about gas pedals or wrecking balls or whatever's on the radio these days

They deserve to do well with that kind of talent.

I’m back from 2020 to watch the best music video ever directed
How about 2021? 😂
This video is like an acid trip and I fucking love it
same ✖️
This is one of the best music videos I've ever seen!
Bastille aqui há um fã brasileiro que ama vocês desde 2012. Quando eu vi os singles foi paixão na primeira escutada!
This song and video makes me so comfortable, my attention is just flowing and not forced to concentrate on a certain thing for like two hours. I love it
I love how this song has that 90's feel to it. LOVE IT!
I am in need of more Bastille songs.
I don't know about everybody else but I quite like the electronic sound of this song. There were a couple songs on All This Bad Blood that were going in this direction which I liked. I hope they continue doing this type of stuff!
Cant believe that this absolute piece of art came out 2 whole years ago.
This music is so... I don't know. Beautiful? Magic? I just know that I love it so much
so unbelievably ready to hear this live omg
Ok so the live version is not all badass like this.. It’s more kinda like oblivion with a very soft melody so.. yeah idk if this is what you ere expecting but yeah! Still cool live tho

True
same, that's exactly what I was thinking
your rad, indie, grunge style effect and your music is so beautiful. love you dan and the rest of you guys, Bastille ❤️
I notice a new scene every time I watch this... is much interesting :)
i adore this song and bastille but i wish they would include themselves in their vids more
Oh yeah. In the 'Oblivion' video there was 2 seconds a photo of them.
Eva Ha exactly!

This is low key my favorite Bastille song ever
At first I wasn't crazy about this song when it was first released because I was expecting epicness. Although, the more I listen to this song the better it gets. Gets stuck in my head! :)
When i heard the soundcloud audio for bad_news i thought it was incredible but the music video just makes it so insanely good. Just wow. I am BEYOND excited for the Oblivion EP
i think one of the best parts of the video is dan's tooth
YASSS!
YES
THE OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION IS SOO GOOD EVEN THO ITS LIKE A LITTLE INTRO AND ITS LIKE 3 SECONDS IN THE BEGINNING, I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Absolutely brilliant!
Very proud to call myself a Bastille fan right now :)
I found a very casual and perfect video, nothing is directed to disseminate or something, Bastille is perfect and I think this next album as more and more recognition for them, and more respect, Bastille has not changed anything, perfect , stormer here
Why can't real music like this get 1 million views?
SO FRICKEN TRUE!!!!!!!!!! omg everyone at my school is all like BANG BANG MILEY CYRUS RUDE and i'm like SHUT THE FRICK UP BASTILLE HAS *REAL* MUSIC!
Almost 95% of the way there. Spread the word around about this song & it might very well get there.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU this is the BEST music I've ever heard EVER :) I love BASTILLE
it did :)
Alienatic Lonely Hearts Club it will, just wait

What happens to Bastille recently? Haven't heard any new songs from him.
hanging!
Yea that was a nice one but thats pretty old as well
+Akky X I think you mean them, they're a band of four.
+Megan N my bad I didn't have that in mind...
They're working on their new album!
I love their whole span of different sounds. Really digging this, and can't wait until they release more music.
I LOVE THIS SONG, I REALLY LOVE IT, IT'S IN MY TOP 5 BASTILLE SONGS! Gosh I love Bastille...
Man I love this group! Every song hits me hard in my emotions! Looking forward to the new album!
Amaba esta canción cuando tenía 15 y ahora tengo más de 20 años 🤧
Olha
OMG hearing all their new stuff makes me want to see them live even more, they just never disappoint! I love how they challenge themselves to create new and different music every single time, but still succeed to make almost all their fans and other people like it!
Who needs drugs when you can trip out on this video? I love it!
8 years, and yet still up to date.
I love the song and Bastille but don't really understand the video, can someone explain please much appreciated. Thank you x

Lauren Sellers That's an amazing explanation, I sorta understand it now. Thank you so much ♡♥♡

I think it's also a little bit about karma as well and a little bit of realizing reality.
I can actually understand this video without watching the whole video.. I always have these feelings. When I feel sad. I always think I the other bad things that happened to me.
I don't know why but the video fits the song perfectly
Absolutely amazing song. Bastille's All This Bad Blood is the only album I have enjoyed every song off of and this new song is no different. I love Bastille's unique sound and their ability to be so raw in their artistry. A truly talented group of individuals making haunting and touching music.
I'm glad there's new Bastille material :) I love the song and the video is interesting :) I wish I could see more Dan though.
Dan,you are a genius. I think that Bastille made this song in electronic for purpose, to explain something. And this video, i really love it.

Bastille have a new song out? This is good news ;D See, what I did there?
I see it :)
Very good_news
Jill Marshall Hmm, what to choose
2 symbols and a drum or a trombone
Perfect as always!! Thank you Bastille for never disappointing us and for just simply being the best!:) Love it!!!
This is just fuckin' amazing! I love you Bastille!!
Each Bastille singe/album/ep/remix/video/concert are EXCELLENT news for me.
I saw them on Tuesday night! They're amazing!! They sing better live too! He even got in the crowd when he sang flaws!
Love it! Can't wait for the ep to come out!
This song is disturbingly pleasuring.
My ears really enjoying it, Bastille never fail. Great job ! :)
its worth checking out Retrofile, there a good indie pop group ... sorta like Bastille ... bit more guitar tho .. :) and from Canada i think!
+Ben Hurr garbage
+Matthew Saunders No.
+Matthew Saunders Actually, this wasn't a bad way of promoting!
i am so happy this exists- your talent will never cease to amaze me- I LOVE YOU DAN SMITH, KYLE SIMMONS, WILL FARQUARSON AND CHRISTOPHER WOOD
Of the night isnt their song though
Yeah I know but still, it's the way they covered it.
Another great song !! Love Bastille !
Dan has such a beautiful voice !!
this fucking song will always have a special place in my heart, just me listening to it rn makes my eyes water… bastille has been with me for a decade now and they are the reason im pursing my dreams and alive right now
You and I both my friend
2023 and still a Top 3 Bastille song. This isn’t for debate 😤
so sad but in a good way
Amazing song, as Bastille accustomed us ! Portugal loves you, and I'm waiting for your next concert, the first was like WOW!! Love you guys
Am I the only one who loves how weird their videos are. Like I'm a REALLY weird person so I'm not sure if other people like it too.
You've come to the right place my friend. I find this video pleasing.
+Reahna Sheets I'm sure that's why everyone loves Bastille, they aren't like any other pop band where each song sounds similar. This is my favourite Bastille song
+Reahna Sheets I to think this is a very cool video and it is my favourite also.
+AmazingSpideyCraft It could have the same melody or beat? Some artists have similar songs to their previous songs or even other artists.
+AmazingSpideyCraft There changed it...
This is my favorite from Bastille Vs. Other People's Heartaches. And this video inspired me to be a director lol
This song sounds sooooo good when it's mashed up with Fall Out Boy's Centuries.
You are my three most favourite bands together: your nam is imagine dragons and you commented on a bastille video about fall out boy :)
I love it!!! ♥
"It's true
That it kicks you in the teeth when you are least expecting
Bad news
Oh it beats you black and blue before you see it coming"
324 people forgot to turn up the sound .... ^^
Always hear this in work and it just gets me buzzing 💯
Good song and video however...where was Dan's death?? ;')
I LOVE THIS. The video captures Dan's film nerd side and also incorporates the quasi-'80s sound from a lot of their stuff from Other People's Heartache. Well done, boys! :)
Stormer here 🙋🙋🙋
Bad news is beautiful PERFECT ❤️❤️❤️👌👌👌👌😍😍😍
Credit to the editor and whoever managed to put the pitch for this video into words for the editor, the song's INCREDIBLE
Bastille is my favorite band of all times, but I think I'm mature enough to tell I don't like bad news… I was excited when it was released and I freaked out, yeah, I was singing the damn song for a whole week, but now it's hard to listen to it… I hope their new album is not following this line.
I find there's to many effects or whatever on Dans voice, but it's still good.
Gabs Bissessar "Blame" is not new... ;)
Lucero Beas It is new in the sense that they haven't released an official recorded version yet! All of the ones that are around are live versions I believe...I may be wrong but that is just my experience!
i really love this part of the lyrics "when you hear something difficult don't back away"
and i got massively addicted to this song xx
