Hi! i have not commented in a while, but can you do another demonslayer episode for the new sword smith village season? or another wings of fire episode?! love what you do, thanks again!!! :DDDDD
That is honestly the best Armless Tiger Man design ever. If you do more forgotten Marvel villains at some point, I do have a suggestion. Videoman. Created for Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends cartoon, but has made sporadic appearances in the comics. Essentially a video game sprite brought to life by Electro as a giant energy monster. Later got fused with a kid named Francis Byte, who used his powers to become a hero and later even joined the X-Men. His MCU reboot has a few possibilities. Maybe a remnant of Ultron's programme that was found and tinkered by some curious tech geek (maybe a version of Francis Byte?) only to accidentally unleash this incomplete confused sentience onto the world. The influences of the kid's video game programmes instilling within it an intense need to "win". Or to tie him back to Electro, perhaps Dillion's interaction with the energy grid of Earth-199999 left a sort of after image of his consciousness there. Creating a strange new energy based lifeform. Guided only by a sense of rage. Rage that, for reasons it cannot understand, is centred around Spider-Man.
you mean the 1980's version or the 2021 version? Because I can see a villain with that origin in either era, I swear marvel powers can come from ANYWHERE.
Awesome artwork and stories yet again, Christian. I've got some ideas for potential DC Villains as Marvel Heroes: 1) Reverse-Flash as a futuristic fanboy of Quicksilver who travelled to the past to meet his hero, found out he wasn't actually that heroic, but then thought, "You know what? If he's not a hero, I'll *make* him more heroic by becoming a superhero myself and becoming a positive role model for him!" 2) Giganta as an associate of Janet Van Dyne who tried using Pym Particles to cure her and her boyfriend's sickness- and it worked! Better than that, even. 3) Kalibak as a former child of Thanos turned against his dad 4) Penguin as a mutant friend of Tony Stark's who controls birds psychically and has a mechanical suit themed on- well, guess 5) Black Adam as an Egyptian friend to Thor and enemy to Apocalypse. How do these all sound to you?
If you do the reverse (Marvel villains as DC heroes), how about Dr Octopus as a colleague of the Ted Kord Blue Beetle who uses similar tech but with an Octopus theme?
I don’t know whether Armless Tiger Man or Elf With A Gun is a more ridiculous concept, but the fact that either of those are even options is astounding to me. As for a favourite though, I definitely have to go with EWAG; both the drawing and the story paint him as just a chaotic little rat and I love it. If there’s any more possibilities for this series I’d love to see them, as these are probably some of the funnier entries in your collection, even up there with the AI written stuff. Keep up the stellar work! Today is Day 104 of me requesting Shovel Knight characters as dragons.
Say@@PopCrossstudios can you make a series of marvel redesigns and could you make a redesign of the world war 2 captain america villain named the ironcross as well as other world war 2 marvel characters both heroes and villains
Armless Tigerman never truly felt like a Lost Villain to me. He played a big part in the Marvel: Avengers Alliance videogame as one of the sacrifices to the Circle of 8. He and Lady Octopus had an epic last stand in the game's Lore. Still a good story. I felt Episode 1 was better story-wise but the art is still amazing! Well done, PopCross. As for me, I do hope one day you find inspiration to take some of your favorite anime characters and reimagine them as the cast of the Boardgame Clue.
Hello and Happy Holidays to everyone in the Popcross Community. It's the season and I just wanted to wish you all a joyous time with your families and friends. I also wanted to say that this sequel video to last Friday's video was absolutely spectacular. Christian did a wonderful job on the redesigns of these forgotten comic characters and the lore of this video was really entertaining. I did enjoy how Christian incorporated the background information about these characters. I do hope that Christian does continue this trend of videos with a DC installment, forgotten Video Game Characters or even Forgotten Animated Characters. Just because of how it helps us learn more about characters like these. Anyways Christian, I just wanted to say thank you for this great and wonderful video, as well as being so positive and giving positive thoughts and vibes at the end of each of your videos. Hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday season and have a great 2024. Suggestions for future videos... 1) What if He-man and the Masters of the Universe characters were Venomized? 2) What if the costumes from Miraculous were Fantasy Armor created by Vasilia Kuznet? 3) What if Characters from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends were Ben 10 heroes? 4) What if Saban Heroes/Sentai Heroes were other things in Pop Culture? 5) What if Video games creatures were Grimm from RWBY? 6) What if FNAF Characters were mutant allies or foes in the TMNT universe?
In a similar spirit to this, I would suggest updating old forgotten Looney Tunes characters, like Bosko (who was in fact THE first Looney Tune) My other suggestion is cartoon characters as Marvel heroes or villains Dexter from “Dexter's Laboratory” as an Iron-Man styled mech-armor hero Juniper Lee from “The Life and Times of Juniper Lee” as a legacy heroine, with connections to both Doctor Strange and Iron Fist Billy from “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy” as an Asgardian (referencing the episode “A Kick in the Asgard”), Mandy as a high-ranking Hydra operative, and Vampire/Mummy Irwin as a member of the Legion of Monsters Jake Long from “American Dragon: Jake Long” as a heroic dragon, possibly with ties to Fin Fang Foom Kim Possible as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Anne and Sprig from “Amphibia” as adventurers in the Savage Land, or looking for the Infinity Stones, Sprig can even have his Frog-Man alter-ego Luz from “The Owl House” as a magic hero, possibly tied to Doctor Strange Hamster and Gretel being empowered by the High Evolutionary Korvo, Yumyulack, or The Pupa from Solar Opposites as members of a family of survivors of their home planet Schlorp being destroyed by Galactus, attempting to terraform Earth into a replica of their home world. Kid Cosmic and the remaining Local Heroes as a bunch of amateur heroes who got their hands on the Infinity Stones Hilda as an Asgardian, referencing the reveal of her true parentage in season 3 Invader Zim as a Skrull infiltrator Jenny XJ-9 Wakeman from “My Life as a Teenage Robot” as a robot here, perhaps connected to Ultron or Vision
Jake Long is actually one I've been randomly heavily considering for this series! Making a bit grittier looking version of it in my style could look super cool!!!
Love how you revisioned these characters which I recognize & if you want more ideas for rebooting superheroes there is a book called “The League of Regrettable Superheroes”
I think its awesome to see some of these retro characters being used in your videos. Cant believe its Christmas on Monday but hope you have an awesome Christmas break.
Marvel really has a lot of crazy unknowns and I love the series! Can’t wait for a DC version to drop! The armless tiger was definitely something I did not expect at all lol
I looked at who would be getting rebooted in this Forgotten Marvel characters video, and whilst I can't exactly watch the video right now (I'm currently out running a few errands with my family) I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these characters get a new art life in a new audience's eyes. And I would absolutely be open to seeing more obscure characters make their way into this series. Either way, thank you for what'll be another awesome video, and I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Percy Jackson/HoO: 1) Venomized. 2) Sequel to superheroes with Leo, Piper and Jason (and maybe Frank, Hazel, Nico and Reyna later). 3) Other universes.
To keep-up with the comic theme, I suggest cartoon characters on the Suicide Squad Anne from Amphibia (possibly connected to the Blue Lantern corps. or Kamandi), Dick Dastardly and Muttley (Illegal street racers and mercenary pilots from Gotham) The Brain from Pinky and the Brain (an experiment from S.T.A.R. Labs) Megamind (with Waller exploiting his attempts at making a new Metro Man) Carmen Sandiego (with possible ties to the League of Assassins) Reagan Ridley from Inside Job (high ranking member of Vandal Savage’s Illuminati) Invader ZIM (an alien soldier left behind by his superiors after a failed invasion) Korvo from Solar Opposites (possibly connected to Brainiac). Or another Indie Video Game Characters in Mortal Kombat. The Penitent One from Blasphemopus (monastic knight from Earthrealm’s Spain) Jacket from Hotline Miami (hitman with multiple personalities from Earthrealm’s Miami) MT Foxtrot from Cruelty Squad (corporate assassin from Earthrealm) Peppino Spaghetti from Pizza Tower (retired Army Ranger from Earthrealm turned struggling restaurant owner, joined the tournament in hopes to earn money to pay off his debts) Le'garde from Fear and Hunger (Edenian warlord in search of godhood) O'saa, Marco, or Levi from Fear and Hunger 2 (Ethiopian sorcerer, Italian boxer, and Czech soldier, from Earthrealm, joined the tournament in search of power or redemption) Isaac from The Binding of Isaac (Earthrealm child turned into a monstrosity after being cast down into the Netherrealm by his zealot mother) The Lamb from Cult of the Lamb (Minotaur cultist from Outworld) Shovel Knight (improbable weapon user from Zaterra) Shantae (Edenian heroine hunting the Black Dragon gang) The Batter from OFF (monstrosity from Orderrealm, Netherrealm, or Chaosrealm, seeking to “Purify” the reams) Any playable class from Darkest Dungeon (mercenaries from Vaeternus)
Armless tiger man - It's too bad he hates machinery, cuz he could've gotten bionic arms! He could've been like winter soldier! I like how you used yellow, black, and a bit of red in his updated design! Those are 3 colors that I think go really well together! Elf with a gun - Hawkeye's not the only one who gets confused by this guy. 😂 Haag - At first it sounded like you were too lazy to make it harder for scott to defeat haag, but now I can tell that you did it on purpose because he's one of the goofy and forgotten villains, so making him really easy for scott to beat was genious! 😂 Asbestos lady - Her mask in your updated design looks so much cooler than it does in that reference picture you used. Lol. For part 3, I suggest you use "el muerto". He's a forgotten spiderman villain. Merry christmas, christian!
Benny:Oh hey who’s your little buddy? Gopher:This is my friend Melf we have similar interests Champagne:Why does he look like a bloody obscure villain from Marvel comics?
Gotta be honest, Haag was the only character on this list I’ve never heard of, and I absolutely loved the story that you came up with for him. Unironically, I think it’s a better plot line than quantumania.
I love the entire idea of this series. I’m a strong believer, that any story, if told right, can be amazing. So someone take these dollar bin super villains that marvel has long since stopped using and make some fascinating with them is incredible to see
Ngl the inagery of ATM dropkicking the vehicle reminded me of Toad from X-Men. Which ngl I'd love to see be used in an episode. Maybe something mha related where he ends up starting out as a young villain but then ends up becoming a hero training. There's a version of him that's a teen so it could work. Tbh I only thought of this just cause I love the idea of Toad ending up becoming close with Tsuyu as they are my favorite characters from Marvel and MHA respectively. The idea of them bonding just sounds too adorable to me😅. Plus I am a firm believer in seeing Toad happy and healthy. Poor man deserves it
here me out here, the Kool-Aid Man got his own Marvel series for a while, and a modern superhero reboot of the Kool-Aid Man would be absolutely incredible
hahaha! this episode was even better than the last one imo, my personal favorite is definitely Elf with a gun, I believe that the stupider the original character the more effective the redesign will be and this was surely the case, specially the part when Hawkeye says he tricked the elf to be run over by a truck, clearly ineffective with a character like this but I love to imagine the silliest chain of events leading to that "aw dude look at this, sweet, a coin on the ground, conveniently placed here in the middle of the road in front of that moving truck, nah dude I swear it's not a trick, it's super shiny and cool you gotta' check this out" and it works hahaha! I also like how the last and first story were linked in a way like the first episode, I think that's very clever and hope it becomes something more common, not only in this series but in your videos in general, super fun episode, great job.
My suggestion for part 3 of this searies is glazier she appeared in one comic and fought the hulk but she had a cool desighn and the ability to turn people to glass with a touch.
Thanks for taking one of my suggestions. Asbestos Lady looks spectacular. And if you’re looking for obscure Batman Villains, might I suggest Magpie, Tally Man, Orca & Junkyard Dog?
So glad thiis series got a part ttwo. I have a request, make Condiment King from DC interesting. There is also fanart of him being potrayed comedically and people used Jonah Hill as a reference lol
Awesome video man, Thanks for doing it!! If your in the process of doing a forgotten Batman villain's video here's some ideas. Dr. No-Face Professor Radium The Wrath Dr. Death Ten-Eyed Man Cornelius Strik The Mad Munk Planet Master Santa Klaus The Terrible Trio The Cavalier The Snowman Corrosive Man
This was incredible. I'm a huge fan of anything superhero related since I was a kid...what else needs to be said; and I especially love your Superhero themed videos because its always nice to see how all of these incredible characters are included in other franchises/themes, plus I just generally really love the MCU because it’s just so amazing. So seeing you redesign some more forgotten Marvel characters as if they were in the MCU is incredible. I love Elf with a Gun’s and Asbestos Lady’s designs the most. Armless Tiger Man’s gives off that presence of a unique brawler with some unexpected features and skills that could either make him really frightening or just a mighty warrior ready for battle...plus I love how he just fits so well as a candidate for being apart of Cap’s adversaries and I think he looks like a fierce obstacle you'd come across in a D&D campaign, Elf with a Gun’s gives off that of an unexpectedly mighty and ferocious trickster that will hunt down those who mess with him or else suffer from his very unassuming appearance and powers...plus I love how he could adapt pretty well with a classic Christmas elf look while still maintaining his classic look and how it makes it unique trait even more powerful, Haag’s design gives off that feel of a cool and fierce otherworldly creature that looks terrifying and can actually show just how dangerous it can be and that you should never underestimate the creatures of the unknown...plus I love how he just seems to be perfect match for an adversary that could give Ant-Man and Wasp some trouble; specifically looking like a cool reptilian hunter with a hint of a fierce fighter, Asbestos Lady’s design gives off that cool and powerful survivor look to her that also feels like she can really go toe to toe with some of the toughest opponents out there and become a great opponent to Captain America...plus I love how she just makes her look really cool and emphasizes that she's no pushover despite looking like a simple looking women with a cool flamethrower weapon and I love how she just looks more like a wildcard and that she's really a force to reckoned with and she rocks the cool flame warrior look. This was an amazing Superhero video and it’s one of the best ones with a classic topic that I haven’t seen you do in a while...and I like it. I'd love to see you try to turn some more forgotten Marvel characters into MCU characters again since I think that would be a great opportunity to explore other kinds of Marvel characters and just how crazy their reimagined origins could be. I'd also be ok with seeing you do a video on drawing more of these kinds of characters as either kaijus, SCPs or as more mech/fantasy armours, since I think that would be pretty interesting...plus if its the case for armours, I think Benny and Vasilia would have a blast. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. I’d also be happy to see you do this with DC characters as well because I think it would very interesting. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Monday’s video. P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?
I love old, forgotten villains from the marvel, and DC. Also, there’s a few more villains that would be perfect to become dangerous, such as Fritz Von Meyer a.k.a. The Swarm, William Turner a.k.a. the Mind Worm, James Natelle, a.k.a. the Red Vulture, Miles Warren a.k.a. Carrion, Helmuth Streicher a.k.a. The Red Panzer, Per Dekuton, the Silver Swan, Angelo, Ban a.k.a., the Angle man, and Grail.
Just in time! I finally managed to find my comics, including another comic written by Stan Lee. Also, turns out a version of the Defenders was in one of the comics! For future Marvel recommendations: Chemistro Slyde Stilt-Man For recommendations that are Batman related: Clock King The Eraser The Ventriloquist
This video was very good! My favourite story was Asbestos Lady, and my favourite design was Haag, but everything in this video was great either way ❤ (Also, please do a video on Gravity Falls soon!)
I’m thinking your version of Elf with a Gun may be connected to the TVA somehow. Given the recent events of Loki probably a rogue agent who thinks the TVA has strayed too far from their goal and is now going through a time jumping vigilante crime spree against anyone they remotely think is a threat to time I think it’s a neat idea
Hi Christian, I can tell the pure frustration Ronin had to go through with this dang elf is crazy. I bet he and Gooby would get along. I loved all the other goofy villains and redesigns of the episode. Some ideas I have for you today is for multiverse tales. As always, an Angel or Sea Monster focused episode would be nice, I really wanna see Captain Derabel make a comeback. Maybe another banter episode with Vasilia and Benny talking about their ridiculous families would be some nice nonsense. But something interesting to do would be to start a new story of the Multiverse tales. Something to give us more context on the actual origins of the monsters of song, Archons, and the Reaper. But other than that, loved the video and can't wait for the next one 🎉
If you do the Batman villains episode you need to do Condiment King. Also if you do Marvel Reboots Part 3 could you do American Kaiju. Also (again) this is one of my favourite series you've done and it's only on two episodes. Doing characters that no one would consider doing for a video and remaking them is perfect for your channel.
I was laughing at the picture of the arm with character. I'm pretty sad for him. But I like the new version of him what you told. I hope you do Christmas characters as demons or mortal.
Thanks! Felt like I had to make a character with a tragic backstory like that into a hero with a positive ending even if it didn't match his original story :P
I can think of a few others: Big Wheel, whom yu mentioned in the previous video, Zombie, the hero who is granted life after death due to a magic amulet, Unus the Untouchable , the mutant with a force field power, the mutant with hypnotic illusion powers who was an original member of the brotherhood of evil mutants named Mastermind, The Hellocow, who is a cow turned into a vampire by dracula, Will-o-the-wisp, a spiderman anti-hero, Scarecrow, a ghost rider villain, MAggot, an X-man with a disturbing power, Flux, a gamma mutant soldier and enemy of the Hulk, Forbush Man, an obscure marvel character, and Strong Guy, a member of the original X-Force.
Absolutely suckered into loving that first story with Tiger Man. Zola going against what the Nazis were really looking for- perfect, flawless soldiers, in his endless scientific fascination, thinking, "Could an armless man serve better with his feet, then?... Far better??" Ooh. Shivers. 22:30 "...wracked with dreams of guilt for selling out her dreams and county..." yes, and also her entire wellbeing too, oops
I love these These are so good and I love how you kept some of the goofy elements of some of the characters. Personally I really want to see a redesign of Payback. I think payback has a very interesting concept being a variant symbiote but nothing really other than her concept was done very well I would love to see her Rewritten and definitely redesigned
I have a recommendation/idea for a part 3; this character didn’t originate from the comics and has only made two appearances, but the Spider-Man villain Swiss Miss. She was an original villain created for the infamous Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn off the Dark themed around blades, knives, and drills; her backstory is that she was a female Oscorp employee known simply as “Lee” who was turned into a mutant by the Green Goblin and made a member of the Sinister Six. She only has one appearance outside of the musical in the form of a brief cameo appearance in Across the Spiderverse. My idea for an MCU version could be that she was a Stark Industries scientist who got involved in a tragic accident caused by the company and had to rebuild herself as a nightmarish cyborg around the same time as Tony Stark’s and sought revenge in the form of going after his protégé Spider-Man.
Here are some ideas that you can do for your next video, you can use them if you want. 1. You could do any episode about Epithet Erased? 2. Please turn other characters from other media into devils, fiends or devil hunters that would be in the anime called Chainsaw Man. 3. You can do another video where you turn DC villains into Marvel Heroes. The Villains you could please use could be Killer Croc (but please don’t make him just a human with sharp teeth and scaly teeth but more lizard like, sorry if I’m being pushy), Poison Ivy, Harely Quin and Scarecrow. 4. You take singers and music artists from real life and turn them into stand users, the narrator could be someone who works at the Speedwagon foundation. 5. Raid Shadow legends is popular(mostly it’s the ads that are popular) so you could make other characters from other media as champions in this game? 6. You could take the champions of League of Legends and put them in other games or put other video game characters and put them in League of Legends? 7. You could draw characters from other media as pokemon? 8. You can draw characters from other media as students in My Hero Academia in other schools like Godzilla or Harry Potter? 9. You take characters from fairy tales and turn them into fighters in a world like street fighter or king of fighters. Here is just an idea like maybe red riding hood could be an MMA fighter and the big bad wolf is a mixed martial artist that has a aggressive and brutal fighting style and the two of them could have a rivalry like Ken and Ryu? 10. Another idea is that you take FNAF characters and turn them into Overwatch characters 11. Place characters from other media in Demon Slayer as either demons or Demon slayers?
Here’s an idea, Sonic the Hedgehog character Venomized, like with Sonic having a Symbiote that makes him look like Fleetway Super Sonic, maybe even also resembling his Werehog form as well, taking that form based on Sonic’s memories since Symbiotes can read the memories of their Host
Love this series! Would love to see a spinoff for DC or Batman. Once again requesting Godzilla monsters as digimon, anything with Disney's Gargoyles, and more power rangers content. I actually just had an idea to bring back the card pack challenge, but with digimon cards as well. That'd be cool!
Some of these could easily be "What If..?" episodes, and that's so cool. Honestly, this is a great series. Such a shame the DCEU is in such of a wrecked state with a confusing timeline to do the same there. Also, about your positive message, it's fun how you mention that the deadlines of the channel helped you make stuff even when tired or unmotivated, because that is what led you to accidentally create two of the best characters of your original story, Benny Sharp and Champagne McGreggor
The moment I saw this, I knew that leprechaun or elf with a gun would turn up. This will be interesting. By the way, I sent you an email of my community redraw prompt. It’s a mantis resembling a tree. I hope you noticed.
I've just watched your other video and I'd like to sheer my idea for Carolyn Trainer AKA Doc Ock II. She's an ambitious intern at Damage Control who found the scans for Doc ocks arms on what's left of The Stark Industries Fabricator.
I recently purchased the book, and I have nothing but good results I am currently working on my own series of nights, and I am quite proud of it. Thanks popcorss I am able to have the confidence to make my own ideas. 👍
if you ever do any more obscure about characters, here's some more. Lord Pumpkin is a magical being, usually embodied in a scarecrow-like body of straw and twigs, he's also an evil drug lord. Dexter Mungo or Ectokid, the child of a mortal and a ghost, who is able to see and interact with the dangerous, interdimensional Ectosphere.
Hey Chris, awesome video as always. Here's my recommendation for Forgotten heroes and villains from Marvel and DC that definitely could use a reboot. Marvel Claire Voyant (the original Black widow): one of Marvel's forgotten Golden Age Superheroes. She was given Superpowers via a deal made with the devil. Maybe have her as Mephisto's original agent of vengeance before Johnny Blaze or Robbie Reyes. This can coexist with whatever the MCU is planning to do with the Ghost Rider spotlight project or the Midnight Suns. Achibe: Black Panther villain. African farmer who had his family butchered infront of him, his land burned, and left for dead by vandalls while the Black Panther and Dora Milaje were nowhere to be found. Which drove him crazy thus becoming the Black Panther's Joker. Captain Ultra: Plumber turned Superhero Griffin Gogol who was made superhuman by an alien. But with a downside to having a weakness to fire. The Pagan: Basic villain with Super Strength said to be given to him by the old gods. Maybe have him get his abilities through magic and have him fight Thor or Dr. Strange. DC. Manatau Raven: Apache Cheif with a gritty redesign. Maybe a connection to Swamp thing. Crazytop: imagine joker with energy blast powers. Doctor Light II: criminally underused asian American member of the Justice League. Imperiex: DC's Galactus.
Awesome video Christian, Elf with a Gun is my favourite 🧝🔫💥 Here are a few suggestions for lesser known DC Characters to redraw in the DCEU: Golden Arrow Ibis the Invincible Atomic Knight Ragman Looking forward to Monday’s Video 🙂
This is amazing, bringing back old marvel characters that never’d shine into today. You did awesome. I hope your not limited to just marvel characters? Perhaps any forgotten dc characters, or even just any comic book characters in general?

Hi! i have not commented in a while, but can you do another demonslayer episode for the new sword smith village season? or another wings of fire episode?! love what you do, thanks again!!! :DDDDD
I love the fact that gave a redemption arc for The Armless Tiger that's certainly an interesting way of his story coming full circle.
That is honestly the best Armless Tiger Man design ever.
If you do more forgotten Marvel villains at some point, I do have a suggestion.
Videoman. Created for Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends cartoon, but has made sporadic appearances in the comics. Guided only by a sense of rage. Rage that, for reasons it cannot understand, is centred around Spider-Man.
you mean the 1980's version or the 2021 version?
Because I can see a villain with that origin in either era, I swear marvel powers can come from ANYWHERE.
@@CyColt 1980s. The one with Iceman and Firestar. I haven't actually seen the 2021 series.
For some reason the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends Videoman ended up in the Spider Society's prison. IDK why
Awesome artwork and stories yet again, Christian. I've got some ideas for potential DC Villains as Marvel Heroes:
1) Reverse-Flash as a futuristic fanboy of Quicksilver who travelled to the past to meet his hero, found out he wasn't actually that heroic, but then thought, "You know what? If he's not a hero, I'll *make* him more heroic by becoming a superhero myself and becoming a positive role model for him!"

3) Kalibak as a former child of Thanos turned against his dad
4) Penguin as a mutant friend of Tony Stark's who controls birds psychically and has a mechanical suit themed on- well, guess
5) Black Adam as an Egyptian friend to Thor and enemy to Apocalypse.
How do these all sound to you?
Hey there Finn. I just wanted to say that I read your ideas for Christian and thought that they are pretty cool and very interesting too.
Those all sound cool :D
These are hosntly awsome
If you do the reverse (Marvel villains as DC heroes), how about Dr Octopus as a colleague of the Ted Kord Blue Beetle who uses similar tech but with an Octopus theme?
@@PopCross hi dude how are you

Armless Tigerman never truly felt like a Lost Villain to me. He played a big part in the Marvel: Avengers Alliance videogame as one of the sacrifices to the Circle of 8. He and Lady Octopus had an epic last stand in the game's Lore.

In a similar spirit to this, I would suggest updating old forgotten Looney Tunes characters, like Bosko (who was in fact THE first Looney Tune)
My other suggestion is cartoon characters as Marvel heroes or villains
Dexter from “Dexter's Laboratory” as an Iron-Man styled mech-armor hero
Juniper Lee from “The Life and Times of Juniper Lee” as a legacy heroine, with connections to both Doctor Strange and Iron Fist
Billy from “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy” as an Asgardian (referencing the episode “A Kick in the Asgard”), Mandy as a high-ranking Hydra operative, and Vampire/Mummy Irwin as a member of the Legion of Monsters
Jake Long from “American Dragon: Jake Long” as a heroic dragon, possibly with ties to Fin Fang Foom
Kim Possible as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Anne and Sprig from “Amphibia” as adventurers in the Savage Land, or looking for the Infinity Stones, Sprig can even have his Frog-Man alter-ego
Luz from “The Owl House” as a magic hero, possibly tied to Doctor Strange
Hamster and Gretel being empowered by the High Evolutionary
Korvo, Yumyulack, or The Pupa from Solar Opposites as members of a family of survivors of their home planet Schlorp being destroyed by Galactus, attempting to terraform Earth into a replica of their home world.
Kid Cosmic and the remaining Local Heroes as a bunch of amateur heroes who got their hands on the Infinity Stones
Hilda as an Asgardian, referencing the reveal of her true parentage in season 3
Invader Zim as a Skrull infiltrator
Jenny XJ-9 Wakeman from “My Life as a Teenage Robot” as a robot here, perhaps connected to Ultron or Vision
Jake Long is actually one I've been randomly heavily considering for this series! Making a bit grittier looking version of it in my style could look super cool!!!
I dunno if a redraw of Bosko is a good idea. I mean, he was basically a stereotype caricature of a black person.
@@williamcrowe2576 perhaps, but he looks more like a mix of a chimpanzee and a bear, and I think that's the direction one should go with him
@@PopCross you mean the more European look from season 1, or the more Chinese look from season 2?
@@Hromovlad1 Good idea, we don't want to get into the mess that started with Mr Gollywog again.
Love how you revisioned these characters which I recognize & if you want more ideas for rebooting superheroes there is a book called “The League of Regrettable Superheroes”
Where can I find this book?
I'd genuinely love to see you do the same concept with forgotten DC heroes.
Thats most likely next in this series, but maybe Batman specifically. Most of my favourite DC suggestions are Batman related so far hahah
did you know about snow flame ?
@@PopCross
same
Say @@PopCrossare you also gonna do batman beyond villains on the suicide squad?
Nice work and a elf with gun is something I though wouldn't need to see today
I think its awesome to see some of these retro characters being used in your videos. Cant believe its Christmas on Monday but hope you have an awesome Christmas break.
Thanks! Hope you do too :D
Marvel really has a lot of crazy unknowns and I love the series! Can’t wait for a DC version to drop! The armless tiger was definitely something I did not expect at all lol
The “ beam Scottie up” was hilarious.
Star trek reference?
I looked at who would be getting rebooted in this Forgotten Marvel characters video, and whilst I can't exactly watch the video right now (I'm currently out running a few errands with my family) I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these characters get a new art life in a new audience's eyes. And I would absolutely be open to seeing more obscure characters make their way into this series.
Either way, thank you for what'll be another awesome video, and I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
Hope you enjoy your errands (and the video when you get around to it!) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ot you too :D
Percy Jackson/HoO:
1) Venomized.
2) Sequel to superheroes with Leo, Piper and Jason (and maybe Frank, Hazel, Nico and Reyna later).
3) Other universes.
Marvelous absolutely marvelous
To keep-up with the comic theme, I suggest cartoon characters on the Suicide Squad
Anne from Amphibia (possibly connected to the Blue Lantern corps. or Kamandi),
Dick Dastardly and Muttley (Illegal street racers and mercenary pilots from Gotham)
The Brain from Pinky and the Brain (an experiment from S.T.A.R. Labs)
Megamind (with Waller exploiting his attempts at making a new Metro Man)
Carmen Sandiego (with possible ties to the League of Assassins)
Reagan Ridley from Inside Job (high ranking member of Vandal Savage’s Illuminati)
Invader ZIM (an alien soldier left behind by his superiors after a failed invasion)
Korvo from Solar Opposites (possibly connected to Brainiac).
Or another Indie Video Game Characters in Mortal Kombat.
The Penitent One from Blasphemopus (monastic knight from Earthrealm’s Spain)
Jacket from Hotline Miami (hitman with multiple personalities from Earthrealm’s Miami)
MT Foxtrot from Cruelty Squad (corporate assassin from Earthrealm)
Peppino Spaghetti from Pizza Tower (retired Army Ranger from Earthrealm turned struggling restaurant owner, joined the tournament in hopes to earn money to pay off his debts)
Le'garde from Fear and Hunger (Edenian warlord in search of godhood)
O'saa, Marco, or Levi from Fear and Hunger 2 (Ethiopian sorcerer, Italian boxer, and Czech soldier, from Earthrealm, joined the tournament in search of power or redemption)
Isaac from The Binding of Isaac (Earthrealm child turned into a monstrosity after being cast down into the Netherrealm by his zealot mother)
The Lamb from Cult of the Lamb (Minotaur cultist from Outworld)
Shovel Knight (improbable weapon user from Zaterra)
Shantae (Edenian heroine hunting the Black Dragon gang)
The Batter from OFF (monstrosity from Orderrealm, Netherrealm, or Chaosrealm, seeking to “Purify” the reams)
Any playable class from Darkest Dungeon (mercenaries from Vaeternus)
Personally I think a bugsnax from the game of the same name would have limitless potential for some crazy stories.
Haag - At first it sounded like you were too lazy to make it harder for scott to defeat haag, but now I can tell that you did it on purpose because he's one of the goofy and forgotten villains, so making him really easy for scott to beat was genious! 😂
Asbestos lady - Her mask in your updated design looks so much cooler than it does in that reference picture you used. Lol.
For part 3, I suggest you use "el muerto". He's a forgotten spiderman villain. Merry christmas, christian!
Because of your comment, I learned that el Muerto is apparently getting a movie with bad bunny as El Muerto
@@Shinxdemoncat yeah. But i think the movie got canceled?
@@CM1_SonicAndOtherStuff did it?
@@CM1_SonicAndOtherStuff just checked, yeah it was, that sucks, I always found him pretty cool
@@Shinxdemoncat 👍
Benny:Oh hey who’s your little buddy?
Gopher:This is my friend Melf we have similar interests
Champagne:Why does he look like a bloody obscure villain from Marvel comics?
I would love that holiday special with elf with a gun I find it hilarious great episode
fun episode! my favorite is elf with a gun :)
part 24 of periodic table elements as something
Gotta be honest, Haag was the only character on this list I’ve never heard of, and I absolutely loved the story that you came up with for him. Unironically, I think it’s a better plot line than quantumania.
I love the entire idea of this series. I’m a strong believer, that any story, if told right, can be amazing. So someone take these dollar bin super villains that marvel has long since stopped using and make some fascinating with them is incredible to see
I totally agree :D Thats honestly part of why I love the idea of this Artist reboot series so much!
I like the sorta forth wall breaking comedy of these episodes
I’d love to see a DC equivalent to this, lord knows the amount of weird forgotten Batman villains out there
Also, love Elf with a Gun
Cult of the Lamb video game bosses as either SCPs, Venomized, or Xenomorphs is something I wanna see
Armless Tiger Man would be an amazing what if episode.
Thanks for taking one of my suggestions. Asbestos Lady looks spectacular.
And if you’re looking for obscure Batman Villains, might I suggest Magpie, Tally Man, Orca & Junkyard Dog?
Thank YOU That one didn't get a ton of requests, but I loved the idea! Great suggestion :D
@@PopCross First time I heard of her was from a video WatchMojo did years ago on the worst Marvel Villains (of which she was number 1).
Honestly I couldn't stop laughing at the original stories of the characters
So glad thiis series got a part ttwo. I have a request, make Condiment King from DC interesting. There is also fanart of him being potrayed comedically and people used Jonah Hill as a reference lol
Wait you actually used Haag, that’s sick! Hope my suggestion was helpful!
It was indeed! He ended up being a weirdly perfect Antman villain, even if my drawing of him looks like a really bulky Piccolo from Dragonball hahahah
Awesome video man, Thanks for doing it!!
If your in the process of doing a forgotten Batman villain's video here's some ideas.
Dr. No-Face
Professor Radium
The Wrath
Dr. Death
Ten-Eyed Man
Cornelius Strik
The Mad Munk
Planet Master
Santa Klaus
The Terrible Trio
The Cavalier
The Snowman
Corrosive Man
Thank you for making more art and inspiration every week
Elf with a gun is so stupid it’s great
(Also thank you for the help)
Please more transformers
There's a lot of Tales of Suspense monsters that could be rebooted. The list goes on.
PS also, you can use some mutant with useless powers, and become useful😉
Happy holidays popcross. Looking forward to another amazing year of your art and your stories
Happy Holidays to you too :D :D
Just in time! I finally managed to find my comics, including another comic written by Stan Lee. Also, turns out a version of the Defenders was in one of the comics!
For future Marvel recommendations:
Chemistro
Slyde
Stilt-Man
For recommendations that are Batman related:
Clock King
The Eraser
The Ventriloquist
From the past to the present. Neat!
Suggestion: BattleBots as Transformers
Do The Thousand. He’s legit a marvel horror villain
Wooooo the teeth are here lol ❤
Idea: analog horror to dragons or demons or SCPs honestly would make the most sense 😅
I have to say, despite my overall burnout for Superhero films and tv atm, your stories are always so compelling
I am sorry (not) but the elf with a gun’s entire motivation just to be a little s**t is HILARIOUS!!!
This video was very good! My favourite story was Asbestos Lady, and my favourite design was Haag, but everything in this video was great either way ❤
(Also, please do a video on Gravity Falls soon!)
Thank youuuu! And right! I have been meaning to do a Gravity Falls episode! Will try to keep it in mind for January!
@@PopCross :O Very cool! Maybe write it down somewhere?
YES FINALLY ARMLESS TIGER MAN!!!! I was waiting for him since the first episode
I’m thinking your version of Elf with a Gun may be connected to the TVA somehow. Given the recent events of Loki probably a rogue agent who thinks the TVA has strayed too far from their goal and is now going through a time jumping vigilante crime spree against anyone they remotely think is a threat to time
I think it’s a neat idea
We definitely need more of this! Please this is my new favorite series on here
Why does the Elf with a gun sound like something Benny would have talked about :P
Thanks for the video PopCross. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
Also I gotta say. I could easily see Elf With A Gun being a Howard the Duck villain. Especially this version.
Only a matter of time before he redesigns Dr. Bong or Bessie The Hell Cow.
You are amazing at this and thanks for teasong my favourite forgotten marvel villain the big wheel last episode
pokemon as fantasy monsters / peaceful containment, to protect the Pokémon
You should do famous dragons as reindeer
Bazoga good vid
hahah thanks :D
Santa gives naughty children coil, when Santa finds a really really naughty child.. they get melf.
YESS my glorious armless tiger man! Finally!
10. Another idea is that you take FNAF characters and turn them into Overwatch characters
11. Place characters from other media in Demon Slayer as either demons or Demon slayers?
Here’s an idea, Sonic the Hedgehog character Venomized, like with Sonic having a Symbiote that makes him look like Fleetway Super Sonic, maybe even also resembling his Werehog form as well, taking that form based on Sonic’s memories since Symbiotes can read the memories of their Host
for a DC round: Animal Vestigial Mineral man, Angle man, Clock king, Calendar man, and Dog welder.
The tear was a great touch
I have a suggestion for a possible part 3. His name is Turner D. Century, he's a villain obsessed with the early 1800s.
Good news, the Gojione poster I ordered actually showed up today. And I love it!
Also, about your positive message, it's fun how you mention that the deadlines of the channel helped you make stuff even when tired or unmotivated, because that is what led you to accidentally create two of the best characters of your original story, Benny Sharp and Champagne McGreggor
hahaha YESSS Very true! I had considered mentioning them and I guess I forgot XP
Another great video, really weird old villains
The moment I saw this, I knew that leprechaun or elf with a gun would turn up. This will be interesting. By the way, I sent you an email of my community redraw prompt. It’s a mantis resembling a tree. I hope you noticed.
Havent gone through submissions yet, but excited to see it when I do!
@@PopCross Okay, and remember, my name, Dominic Le, is switched in my email, ledominic. I hope that helps.
I've just watched your other video and I'd like to sheer my idea for Carolyn Trainer AKA Doc Ock II. She's an ambitious intern at Damage Control who found the scans for Doc ocks arms on what's left of The Stark Industries Fabricator.
I can’t wait for you to see Sickle (my submission) i’m really happy with how his story turned out 😊
What if you made candy bars as angels in your demon world. Also awesome video, you are really good at adapting the lore!
I recently purchased the book, and I have nothing but good results I am currently working on my own series of nights, and I am quite proud of it. Thanks popcorss I am able to have the confidence to make my own ideas. 👍
AWSOME vid as always. Btw WE NEED A MARA and that folklore narrator to team up and fight a demon of some kind
You have a pretty funny voice for the elf one😂😂
if you ever do any more obscure about characters, here's some more.
Haag could be a great MCU villain
Asbestos lady wasn't forgotten, she just died of cancer
Hey Chris, awesome video as always.
Here's my recommendation for Forgotten heroes and villains from Marvel and DC that definitely could use a reboot.
Marvel
Claire Voyant (the original Black widow): one of Marvel's forgotten Golden Age Superheroes.
These are so awesome. I’d love for you to redesign 8-Ball. One of my fav D-listers
Awesome video Christian, Elf with a Gun is my favourite 🧝🔫💥
Here are a few suggestions for lesser known DC Characters to redraw in the DCEU:
Golden Arrow
Ibis the Invincible
Atomic Knight
Ragman
Looking forward to Monday’s Video 🙂
hahaha thanks :D I'll add those suggestions to my list of cahracters to look into!
Your drawings are amazing plus I still love the cartoon characters in the suicide squad are cool, keep up the good work and merry Christmas
You should check out the characters of The League of Regrettable Superheroes, now those are some odd balls!
Great art, happy holidays.
“Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” inspired Demon episode with a Demon hunter based on Puss and a demon(fear of death) based on Death
This is amazing, bringing back old marvel characters that never’d shine into today. You did awesome. I hope your not limited to just marvel characters? Perhaps any forgotten dc characters, or even just any comic book characters in general?
