LOL...i just felt like calling myself Putin once, and for some reason it's what they call me now and now I also felt like speaking Russian. I can relate, ven.
Mari Johnson hey can you help me i’m russian dissent. And I learn to say I love you in russian. But I want to say it to my wife. Her name is Erica how do I say her name in russian. I can’t find it anywhere.
Thank you so much! I'm in 5th grade and I have a Ukrainian girl in my classroom but she is from the part of the Ukraine where they speak Russian. I have known her since she came to America which was in April maybe May but we are friends and she needs my help so I help her. And I thought it would be easier to learn the language instead of having to use our translator we have. Anyway thank you for helping!
Do you use "google translate", or "world lens"? itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-translate/id414706506 you can hover the smart phone over another language and it will translate Russian to English and vice versa
i randomly came across this video. I have always loved the sound of the russian language. I was pretty quick learning some of the words. I bet If I did this everyday i would actually learn the language.
Please ask Tatyana to do more videos! They are helpful! The most helpful teaching style I've seen so far, the way she breaks down the words.... and how they appear on screen...
I am lithuanian, and when we had to choose our second foreign language I wanted to learn russian, but my mum insisted I learn german.. I still think I should of learnt russian. I'll start learning independently, but even without actually learning russian i realised I do know quite a bit of russian words!!
The best and simplest tutorial for travelers out on youtube! I've tried watching other ones and they are either too complex/fast/complicated. These girls make things slow and simple. Thank you!
It's weird how the russian language gives russians that speak english that rough rugged accent. But you speak very good english and obviously beautiful russian!
How do you say 'Sorry i don't speak russian' or 'I am not russian' because in the part of Vietnam that I am currently in (nha trang) there are a lot of Russians (not saying it's a bad thing I love Russians) but they constantly think I am Russian because I am a white Australian and I look a bit Russian and they come up and start talking to me in Russian and it's really awkward 😂 I just want a polite way to say it
Haha, are you still here? I am in Nha Trang! Wouldn't think I look Russian, but if you are white here, you are clearly Russian :) I was speaking Vietnamese and English to a little girl and her mum when I was buying a smoothie, and at the end the lady said thank you in Russian, like I was trying to hide the fact that I am from Russia haha.
Alex Chisholm nah I just left a few days ago. I wouldn’t think I look Russian either, i basically look like your stereotypical Aussie surfer haha. I’ve got the originally brown but sun bleached curly hair and olive skin but apparently everyone who’s white is Russian in nha trang😂
But yoy are right, she is not looking like russian. In non-central Russia there are many small nations (like indians in the usa). She looks like a native siberian woman or may be mixed person
Elias Diakakis I said she does not look like ETHNIC russian. In russia there is difference between nationality and ethnicity. Person with rissian ancestry is русский (russkii), citizen of Russian Federation is россиянин (rossiyanin). All Русские in Russia are RF citizens, but not all Россияне are русские. It is because in russian name of the state Rossiya is not coincide with name of russian nation (russkie).
Hello! That's so great that you like the russian language! I also teach russian to foreigners in english and in french! I also add different videos on my channel about russian (and also videos with my hobbies: piano playing and skateboarding) Maybe if you find something helpful and interesting there I will be happy if you subscribe :)

we have a Russian grocery / deli close to my house and my daughter is obsessed with the food. I would love to be able to speak some Russian, as they all speak it in the store as well as English, but I just like the sound of the language as well. Thanks for taking the time to post these...Jen

And what about the grammar? You can't master a language without learning the grammar.
@@Nononno210 don't bother with grammar unless you're in school, vocabulary is much more important
Thank you both for this lesson. Makes learning to speak Russian easier. You two are incredibly beautiful. 👍
