I saw the Brazil’s on a pole near chicago for $80. I went to Lowe’s and bought a $20 6 inch hanging pot and a 3 ft piece of wood for $5. In no time it grew up the pole for a fraction of the price.

Love this! Makes me miss AZ. I got a hoya australis that big from Trader Joe’s a few months back for, I want to say, $10! Just potted it into a terracotta pot with De La Tanks and it’s loving life on my patio!!
I got a Hoya Australis there as well!!! I just repotted it last week. It’s HUGE!!!

Hi Becca! I wish I had plant amigas in Tucson lol. My favorite is to go save plants in fall/winter when they place them in clearance at all the garden stores especially Walmart!
I would love to visit Tucson nurseries, and being from West side of NY I would love the weather. lol. Can't wait for part 2. Safe trip home.

I promise the Rubber trees are suuuuper easy to look after. I almost didn't buy mine bc I was too afraid to kill it, but mine is so happy and she's super easy. When I first got it I lost the two lowest leaves, but then after that, constant growth and she's literally perfect
I can't believe you live near this kind of nursery!! I would be insanely broke if I did. In Canada we don't have these amazing plants available, it's expensive just to buy cuttings of them.

Try the breakfast burrito at St. Mary’s Mexican food next time you pass through. Right off I10 on St. Mary’s Rd. Amazing breakfast burritos and their prices are still very reasonable. Their chicken chimichanga is very good also.
Talavera pottery is my favorite! Comes from Puebla Mexico ! It’s so cool to see it in the USA!

I would absolutely love to visit Arizona one day. I'm on the east coast so I've never seen cacti growing in the wild (aside from prickly pear, they are hardy here in NJ) or been in that kind of terrain/landscape before - it would be such an amazing experience! And the selection at these shops was so good - especially those pots! Wow. Can't wait to see what you picked up. I spy a barrel cactus! Haha

Thanks for your video from Tucson. I always hit Bach’s when in northwest Tucson. My son told me there’s a huge new nursery just off I-10 in Marana that I hope to visit in the late Fall. It’s gotten too hot too fast!

No one seems to understand me when I say how I think dry heat is a different kind of monster than humid heat! You feel like you're suffocating and your skin will crack if you move too much. I'll take humid heat over dry heat just about any day
