Hook it on the clutch and then around the wheel pulley the best you can use a flat screwdriver to push down on the belt V ribs just me sure your hand is not underneath in case it slips and spin it at the some time it works every time. Belt size is 5/8"×56"
How do you adjust the belts?? I just took delivery of a new PK stump grinder and got it assembled today. There's nothing in the manual about adjusting the belt tension!! :mad: I assume you loosen the 4 engine bolts and crank the round bolt (with the special key) that is under the tow hitch? How do you know when it's adjusted to the right amount of tension?
Incorrect method shown, almost impossible to get the next belt on that way. Losen the 4 motor nuts at the frame and using a screwdriver, turn the motor adjustment at the rear, it moves the motor back and forth
this method is incorrect, it doesn't matter what machine, NEVER use pry tools to install a belt....plus what is the point of doing a video for people if you Do Not show the tensioning procedure’s?
My engine belt broke and I can't find it in any store yet, nor can I get it online.
The lift handle blocks removal of the belt cover. How do I get the cover off?
when you put the belt back on, it was very loose, can you do this with the same tension as when you took them off or does the tension need to be less?
