It's a good machine. I've had one for a couple of years now. I recommend putting some thread locker on the bolt in the top of the brake handle. Ours vibrated loose and I've yet to replace it (Lazy) Using vice grips to hold the brake cable end. I also HIGHLY recommend the Green Teeth upgrade. It's almost a different machine with the Green Teeth.

I'm going to have to look into this. Great tip. I wasn't sure how much improvement would be seen with the green teeth swap. Sounds like it is almost a must then. I tested the machine the other day and it made short work of some five inch stumps barely a few seconds. But the larger stump about 20" is taking a bit longer. Green teeth might go faster. Thanks for the advice

@@homesteadyall they are well worth the expense. I had the same thought regarding the Green Teeth and used both sets of factory teeth until dull. If you are grinding any pine stumps the Green Teeth are an amazing improvement. The ease of changing cutting faces or teeth themselves in the field with minimal tools and time is also a factor.

@@homesteadyall I got my pockets, bolts and first set of teeth from Foards Parts Plus they had the best price. They have a great package deal. You may need to specify different length bolts to mount the pockets. They were extremely accommodating getting me squared away with what I needed. I've found amazon to be the best for replacement teeth.

Just sharpen the original teeth right on the machine. Should only take you about 20 minutes. I have owned mine about 7 years and ground well over 100 stumps on the original teeth. I posted a video on my channel on how I sharpen the teeth---it's a piece of cake. Loved your vid!!!🦾
