Goodness me a legend get booed comes to show you how low the crowd acts. Respect to Steve for being cool, calm, and not giving it back to the crowd.
Problem is, the crowd are not darts fans at the worlds, never have been. Just there for a piss up, a sing song and a booing session
Always same sh*t with Price also and he is the number one of the world. If I was him I would make a statement and do not start the game. Crowd is so so annoying a real shame.
Not darts fans just idiots. You can never boo a legend like the bronzed adonis. I still think its better too keep men and women seperate in their leagues

Fallon hits treble, and commentators act as no one has ever done it before. Good for Steve, a legend of the game doesn't deserve to be booed, no matter who he is playing against
Clayton and Barry! What a corker of a match that was! 10 ton plus finishes between them. 5 each in fact! That's the best match of the world championship so far. Keane Barry deserves a lot of credit. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of him in 2022. I'll say it again. Darts has never been better. This is why we love the darts.
Well said agreed great match and Barry just needs to slow down a touch and gain more experience playing top players. Clayton top shelf and strong competitor believes in himself proven
I can't stand watching Barry play, its like watching Daryl Gurney it just grinds my gears.

World Class from Steve Beaton, a throwback to his world championship win!
Steve played the best match he played in the last 20 years, averaged over 100 most of the match. Unlucky for Fallon, she wasn't great but even if she was, i think Steve was just too good today.
I like Sherrock but it's pretty annoying how Sky focus so much on her and how the crowd and female commentator Laura Turner clearly wants her to win. Sherrock can throw 60, 60 then finally a ton and Laura says "fantastic darts".
And don’t even get me started on how Hawaii 501 goes on about her
The clayton vs barry match was my favourite. Ton+ finishes getting thrown for fun. That young lad is surely up to great things in the future

Nothing against Fallon, but the way they have hyped her up for this tournament has been absolutely ridiculous, it's been unbearable. Thank you, Steve Beaton. Can actually enjoy the darts now.
Yeah agree. Also didn't like how they put #fallonsherrock at the bottom of the on screen score box in previous tournaments. These are great times for women in darts and I'm all for it, but they should be unbiased regardless of sex, race or country a player is from. Darts is darts

Amazing night, mad that a 19 year old was able to get so many ton+ finishes and bait those final sets out of Johnny Clayton. So glad I saw it.

I hate how every time Fallon hits a 60 or a double it’s treated like a nine darter and if she does badly it’s just “bad luck”.
If it’s all about equality then she should be treated like everyone else.
It's not even a female thing though, there's nowhere near that level of excitement about poor Lisa Ashton, a four time womens world champion and a tour card holder I may add. It's specifically Fallon. Because she broke the glass ceiling, I suppose. I'm glad she's out, I wasn't prepared for the pundits to speak incessantly about her for the next 2 weeks. That said, she's got a good game and I do hope she does well, I just hate the way they talk about her. Sorry, rant over haha

I always want Fallon Sherrock to lose when she plays... and that's not because of Fallon Sherrock. It's because of the crowd who are always so incredibly disrespectful towards her opponent. I find it incredibly irritating, so well done Steve Beaton for getting through there 👏

Fallon felt high pressure for the first time after an extraordinary season, starting as a favorite in the first round. A very low average is a clear evidence. Really sorry for that but glad for a legend like Beaton

Steve Beaton handled that absolutely perfect. Experience and focus, not easy with that crowd. Hats off to you Steve !
Barry was giving Clayton a run for a minute.. but Clayton clawed it back after that 150. Kleermaker and the 156 and Hempel's 156 and 158 are standout moments too.
For the English people, 'Kleermaker' is the Dutch word for 'Taylor'. I don't think he's the next Phil though...

Yeah I find the whole thing a little embarrassing tbh. If they want to blow smoke up an ass, try the young lads that have turned up and given us some real quality games to watch.
At least she won't be in the Premier League next season, just too much Simping going on in society and darts isn't spared

I agree with this, I think Fallon is a solid darts player who can plays but they don't shut up about her, I honestly feel like they went on more about her 2 years ago than they did about Peter Wright winning the bloody thing
@@danielsennett2657 I don't think so. There's ppl like Jose, Dimitri, Clayton classified as elite status players now. Not to mention there are players like Rob Cross getting back to form and players like Barney, Aubergine, Chizzy (fingers crossed) who is likely to gatecrash the PL with a deep run in the Worlds. If Fallon ran good she's likely to be in, but since she's out then not much of a chance

Why so much Simping among the crowd? You can appreciate Fallon's darts abilities but to boo a legend like Steve to put him off on his doubles is so simpy. Not to mention the profession of love to Fallon though she's actually kinda ugly.
2 of the best matches were played today between Beaton and Sherrock and then Clayton and Barry omg 100% the 2 best matches of the competition so far fair play to all 👍👍👍👍🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

Maybe Beaton needs to be the bad guy! Seen him fold in many an early round worlds match from that position but got it done. Would love to to see him go deep
The Clayton vs Barry match was fantastic. The 100 and over check outs throughout the match by both players were great. Keane Barry looks like a rising star in darts. Fallon played well but Beaton played just a bit better.

Booing proves this is the worst crowd there is in darts. Half of them don' even watch the game and the other half don't even know whose playing. If they did they would give Beaton the respect he deserves.

Here is a parable to the so called fans you attract at the world championship, booing an opponent you want to lose doesn't always get you want you want.
Doing it is the equivelant of a spoiled brat crying to his/her mom for that toy you want but can't get it. Steve, you held your nerve against a ruckus bunch of non-darts fans.
I love Fallon, but if you're a fan of darts, you do NOT boo an opponent just to make them lose. Stop acting like spoiled kids, and be adults. You surely don't like being jeered at, so stop doing it on others!

Made the mistake of leaving my headphones on, which I stopped doing a few days ago. If Laura can't find anything to say; except no brainers - get her out of there. Every dart at a finish is a "big dart" girl, as is "needs a treble" for anything over 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody deserves the booing just for playing Fallon, but Beaton of all players especially doesn’t. I like Fallon and was rooting for her, but happy for Beaton to get that win!!

That was a second round match. There are no extra legs in a fifth set of a first round match.
Beaton won the final set 3-1 anyway so it would have been all over regardless.
Oh my god, camera guy. How hard is it to pay attention to where the darts are going? If you're unsure, pan out for the full board or something.
Fallon has played better but against someone like Steve his experience beat her as nothing will phase him, losing legs against his throw, crowd boo’s etc he won’t get knocked mentally. His winning dart with one in the hand he didn’t even pause like he was mid game.
Was a really good match. It wasn’t her night but Fallon’s had an amazing year. Next year will be even better for her and the sport I’m sure, she’s already a superstar.

PDC can change their name to PDE if they continue to promote disrespect and booing against players. The crowd should not get their endless freedom to bring player out of concentration. Try to reduce that please.
