Man... I am gutted that Luke couldn't carry his semi-final form into the final... but it was his first major final and he has done brilliantly to get that far. No way did I think he'd beat MVG, let alone do it in some style. I hope he can create more opportunities like this and gain more experience because I really like him. Jordan95 HD Humphries played the game of his life against MvG. He thew 180s and ton plus finishes every single leg for fun. It was like he couldn't miss anything. Bizarre really. And then against Wade he played crap and practically gave Wade the win for free. If Hunphries would have played against MvG like against Wade then we would've had a far better final. That's why k hear every commentator like " Ratajski could be a top 10 player if he only does this or that". Not saying that mvh plays at his 2016 level but that might have been a fluke. All i know is that Price went out in the semmis and we have a very surprising final. I think we will see more of this. The end result imo will be that mvg and price are probably the best players out there but might not win that many tournaments. A 103 average or something like that might have you losing a quarter finals or a first round. We have to change out expectations.

@@haniffmohamoodally thats what most people forget. Darts overall in the last 4 or even 2 years got so much better. That's why k hear every commentator like " Ratajski could be a top 10 player if he only does this or that". Not saying that mvh plays at his 2016 level but that might have been a fluke. All i know is that Price went out in the semmis and we have a very surprising final. I think we will see more of this. The end result imo will be that mvg and price are probably the best players out there but might not win that many tournaments. A 103 average or something like that might have you losing a quarter finals or a first round. We have to change out expectations.
