@trapdoormagic I made one similar but the crib is on the back of the book and for only one book. I really like this one because it's simple and doesn't cost money to buy. Some book tests are pricy. 💰
Excellent version and SO cheap to make. I often feel folks can be just a little bit suspicious when the magician provides the books instead of the spectator picking from a selection so for this version having a double for the gaffed book then switching them out at the end and casually passing both books out for examination would, I think, solidify the effect. Just a thought. 👍
Yeah, that's good. I think the magician's choice at the beginning helps alleviate that as well to some degree. If you have a clean way to switch, that would be better.
My book test uses two identical paperbacks with one cover changed. You can guess the method. Just needs a bit of rifling through charity shop bookshelves to get the correct fit.
I love book tests and this one is solid. Thanks for sharing 🎩✨️🪄
Yeah..I'm a sucker for book tests too. I have more of them than I'll ever need. Some are pretty complex, but this one is simple.

You might want to discuss the equivoque involved in their choice of the first book. This looks cool and worth the effort!
I do toward the end of the video. (See the clip at 7:38...I almost forgot to include it.) - Thanks.
Worth the effort to me!!👍👍
Me too :)
That's a great mentalism
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
I never really cared for book tests but I like this one.. Takes a little work but well worth it.
This is awesome 👍👍👍👍
Great trick! Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina, your videos are always top level!
Thanks. I appreciate your kind words.
Thats fantastic
Thanks!

Hola, yo tengo 3 libros iguales y les cambie la portada y parecen diferentes. Les doy toda la libertad de elegir las paginas y palabras. Buen video!!
Good idea!

Love it. Simple and amazing.
Wow, had no idea you were 64. I assume that you were in your 50s like me.
Best comment of the day!! (If only I was in my 50's again) Thanks :)
